Who is Levi?

Leviathan, Hebrew Livyatan, in Jewish mythology, a primordial sea serpent. Its source is in prebiblical Mesopotamian myth, especially that of the sea monster in the Ugaritic myth of Baal (see Yamm). In the Old Testament, Leviathan appears in Psalms 74:14 as a multiheaded sea serpent that is killed by God and given as food to the Hebrews in the wilderness. In Isaiah 27:1, Leviathan is a serpent and a symbol of Israel’s enemies, who will be slain by God. In Job 41, it is a sea monster and a symbol of God’s power of creation

Etymology:

Gesenius (among others) argued the name לִוְיָתָןwas derived from the root לוה lwh "to twine; to join", with an adjectival suffix ן- ָ, for a literal meaning of "wreathed, twisted in folds". If it exists, the adjectival suffix ן- ָ (as opposed to -ון) is otherwise unattested except perhaps in Nehushtan, whose etymology is unknown; the ת would also require explanation, as Nechushtan is formed from neḥšoeṯ and Leviathan from liveyah; the normal-pattern f.s. adjective would be לויון, liveyon. Other philologists, including Leskien, thought it a foreign loanword. A third school considers it a proper noun. Bauer proposed לוית+תן, for "wreath of serpent."

Both the name and the mythological figure are a direct continuation of the Ugaritic sea monster Lôtān, one of the servants of the sea god Yammu defeated by Hadad in the Baal Cycle. The Ugaritic account has gaps, making it unclear whether some phrases describe him or other monsters at Yammu's disposal such as Tunannu (the biblical Tannin). Most scholars agree on describing Lôtān as "the fugitive serpent" (bṯn brḥ) ,but he may or may not be "the wriggling serpent" (bṯn ʿqltn) or "the mighty one with seven heads" (šlyṭ d.šbʿt rašm). His role seems to have been prefigured by the earlier serpent Têmtum whose death at the hands of Hadad is depicted in Syrian seals of the 18th–16th century BC.

Mythology:

Sea serpents feature prominently in the mythology of the ancient Near East. They are attested by the 3rd millennium BC in Sumerian iconography depicting the god Ninurtaovercoming a seven-headed serpent. It was common for Near Eastern religions to include a Chaoskampf: a cosmic battle between a sea monster representing the forces of chaos and a creator god or culture hero who imposes order by force. The Babylonian creation myth describes Marduk's defeat of the serpent goddess Tiamat, whose body was used to create the heavens and the earth.

I’m just thinking about Cas fighting wars in heaven and wars on earth and watching over humans, not just humanity but specific humans he has an affinity for, and being grand and great and powerful but having some unexplainable unavoidable urge to do- something. I just think about precanon Cas prebiblical Cas prehistorical Cas. Castiel!!!

Tick is, technically, egally blind due to ocular albinism and nystagmus, but can 'See' in a way that doesn't cause it to be too much of an issue. 'Seeing', however, means than most obfuscation or glamour don't necessarily work, and with the use of the sigils on the back/front of their hand makes finding hidden entryways/signs easier. Still probably not great that she drives at night.

Additionally- Tick uses speech to text to make posts, and tts and screenreaders for their phone. She doesn't read or write English too well so written communication is difficult.

Tick can read prebiblical Aramaic text, however.

DEAN Yeah, God's freaking sister.

CASTIEL You said you were close. Dean, how'd she get away?

DEAN 'm sorry, what part of "God's freaking sister" did you not understand? She overpowered me -- end of story.

(Castiel and Sam look at Dean warily)

DEAN What's our plan here, fellas? You said you got everything you could out of Metatron, right? So, where on earth are we gonna find an answer on how to stop her?

(Dean looks at Sam) DEAN (sarcastically) I don't suppose God's decided to share any wisdom on the matter.

SAM I'll look into the lore.

(Sam walks away into the library area of the bunker. Dean and Cas remain staring at each other, intense, in The Crow's Nest.)

And then Cas went to Gaza.

(Sam and Dean arrive at the command center in the bunker, the table is full of ancient books and scrolls)

Sam: Right. Oh, this is everything Cas dug up in Gaza, every last bit of prebiblical lore.

Dean: Hmm.

Sam: Half of it I couldn’t read. It’s in Aramaic. And the other half… Nada. Not a single mention of the darkness, so…

(Dean’s phone starts ringing)

I just thought it was funny that Misha was all like "they had to have written that tree of life stuff a year in advance when we recorded the episode, and then had to figure out how to justify it!" Like... No Mish. They didn't, lol

Oh, gosh... I understood it as him suggesting they had to justify how Cas could travel to Syria without his wings... but he hasn’t had wings to boop himself around with since 8.23, so...

I mean this isn’t an oopsie the writers forgot about. This has been Cas’s status since the angel fall event. They even made a point of it in 11.14 with Casifer’s lie about time travel being different from teleportation. It’s been A Big Deal in the narrative for more than five years now, that Cas (and most of the rest of the angels, barring the archangels) has to travel the slow, human way. 

At the beginning of 11.07, Sam and Dean are looking at a bunch of ancient scrolls in the bunker:

I mean... there was a TON of delightful crack fic about Cas’s plane flight to Gaza written at the time. My 11.07 tag is probably full of it. But transportation is one of those things that’s easily handwaved as “fill in the blank with the logical mode of transit here.” Because it’s not really relevant to the plot at the moment, you know? We KNOW Cas’s can’t just flap his wings and boop around the world. They don’t need to keep telling us this to justify story choices. The writers are kind enough to assume the average viewer isn’t a moron and has basic recall of canon facts. :P
