how to download sims 4 packs for free(mac)

Hi Besties, I recently posted on instagram about how I found a way to download the sims 4 expansion packs , game pack and stuff packs so here are the instructions on how to install them. If you have any issues please contact me on instagram and i'll happily help out.

here are a couple things to consider:

this tutorial is for mac only, there are options for windows on the website in step 1 and there should be instructions there aw well

do this at your own risk, i am not responsible for any issues or viruses you get on your computer. downloading anything off the internet risks the chance of viruses so be careful

now for the tutorial.

STEP 1: DOWNLOADING THE UNLOCKER

first thing we want to do type "sims 4 updater mac" into your web browser or go to this website. next, what we'll do is scroll down until you find "step 1" and follow the steps.

step 1 says to download the file: origin DLC unlocker for mac so let's do that. click this link then under "origin" and "EA" click the first link depending on which software you use to play the sims. if you use origin download with this link, if you use EA use this link.

the file should download in a .zip file, if this is the case it's downloading correctly. if not, you didn't do it right or there's some restriction on your computer.

once the file is downloaded, click it(or double click) to extract it. your computer should do it automatically but if not, go to the app store and download a zip extractor.

now, you should quit origin so it's not open at all. this means completely shut down the app(don't uninstall it, just close the app). to do this, click "quit" when holding down on the app

once you've done that, we're going to open the DLC unlocker folder we downloaded. inside the folder, there is a file called "fix originclient.command", hard press on the file then click "open" and it should open terminal.

NOTE: playing around with terminal can be detrimental to your computer. make sure to back up your device and do this at your own risk.

once terminal is open, follow the prompt and where it says "press any key to continue" press enter/return on your keyboard. once you've done that, it should say process completed. if it does, you did it correctly. if it doesn't, please contact me on instagram for further help.

now, we're going to repeat the process but with the "add fake entitlements.command". so, open the folder once again, open the file "add fake entitlements.command" and do what it says. if it says "press any key to continue", press enter/return on your keyboard. when it lists different sims games in order from 0-2, press 2 for sims4. if you're not playing sims4, this tutorial is not for you. after typing 2, press enter/return. now it'll ask you to open the sims4 online and quit it immediately after. to do this, open origin like normally, run the sims4(but don't play), then immediately quit the game once you get to the main screen. once you've done that, quit origin and go back to the terminal window and press enter/return on your keyboard. it should say "process completed" if you did it correctly.

STEP 2: DOWNLOADING THE PACK(S)

now, we're going to download our pack to add to our sims4 game. to do this click this link. if you scroll down, you should see an organized table of all the sims4 packs. important thing to note: download each pack one at a time. after each download of each pack you must redownload the DLC unlocker and repeat the steps in step 1.

to download your desired pack, click the red link beside the pack name. once you click the red link, it should immediately start to download. there may be an additional tab that opens , close it and go back to the original tab. I noticed it did this a few times before it finally downloaded th pack so just keep closing the additional tab until your desired pack is downloading

your file should be an .iso file. if this is the case, you're doing it correctly. if not, please dm me on instagram. wait for the file to download and once it's downloaded, DO NOT OPEN IT select the file , hard press , open with , → disk image mounter this step is important if you don't open the file correctly it won't apper in your game, please contact me for help.

now, we can open the .iso file from our downloads folder. a window should pop up named TS4-(your pack) with a folder inside , if this isn't the case something is wrong and/or you didn't do it correctly. We're going to go into finder and find the sims 4 packs folder. to do this, open finder → search → sims 4 packs. drag the folder into the sims 4 packs folder we just found.

lastly , make sure your game is offline. from now on anytime you want to play the game you have to open it while offline - you can disconnect from your wifi or go offline in origin. You can do this by opening origin → account → go offline.

If you open it online you will have to repeat all the above steps. But once your game is loaded you can go online from in the game. once origin is offline , open your sims4 game and it should be in there. if necessary i will post a tutorial soon but i hope this helps!

A new update for Kerbal Space Program Enhanced Edition is live!

This update includes a number of quality-of-life-features , including the ability to seamlessly switch between the SPH and the VAB without leaving the editor, plus a Maneuver Widget for fine tuning maneuvers during interplanetary flights. Console players have now also access to Camera Mode, which allows to take cool screenshots without the UI showing up and the ability to move the camera around when the game is paused in flight. A good deal of fixes has also been packed into this update, and for Breaking Ground players we have included the R-062, R-12 and R-25 Ducted Fan Blades to the part inventory, among several other things.

Once in Flagstone, Cooper learns from his friend Hector Mendoza that Frank is at the mansion of the soon-to-be-married local mayor. In the meantime, the mayor's prospective bride, Kate O'Hara, finds out that her betrothed has sold her family's ranch to DeVitt. In the escalating altercation, O'Hara shoots the mayor as John Cooper walks in, seeking Frank. The newly met pair promptly escape the mansion and head for the O'Hara ranch to defend it from the attacking DeVitt company men. The defense is successful, but Kate's uncle Ian perishes in the battle.

The group eventually gets captured on their way to New Orleans, where Frank, who is working for DeVitt, is located. A Voodoo practitioner called Isabelle Moreau rescues them. Together, they set out to find her partner, Marshall Wayne, who disappeared while investigating DeVitt. Frank's gang have imprisoned many people out in the Louisiana wetlands, to be shipped off to work in DeVitt's mines. Once they rescue Wayne, the group sets fire to the old riverboat that functions as a headquarters for Frank's people. This act puts Frank on alert, and he locks down the city. Having sneaked past the roadblocks and guards, Cooper asserts that he wants to face Frank alone, to which Kate and Hector object. At Hector's mention of James Cooper's fate, John snaps and shoots Hector in the arm. Alone, he proceeds onto a docked freight ship, where he and Frank duel. Cooper is outdrawn and wounded.

The entire group gets captured again and sent to DeVitt's mines as slaves. Install mysql server on mac. They eventually escape after a week, but McCoy cuts his losses and abandons them. The others undertake Wayne's commission to abduct DeVitt himself from a lavish party at this mansion. They manage to spirit DeVitt out, but at the last moment their captive outwits them and hold them at gunpoint, only to be disabled by the returning McCoy. With the group back together, they hunt down Frank at the Devil's Canyon, where James Cooper and a young John pursued Frank years ago. Frank and John have another stand-off, watched over by Frank's lieutenants. The rest of the group overpowers Frank's posse, while John outdraws and finishes off Frank.

The game was developed by German studio Mimimi Games, the developer of Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, whose gameplay mechanics were similar to this game. THQ Nordic, which acquired the rights to the franchise from Atari in 2013, served as the game's publisher.(7) Since the last game in the series was released more than a decade ago, the team made Desperados III a prequel story so that it can be accessible to new players who are new to the franchise or new to the genre. To achieve this, the team ensured that the game features an adequate tutorial system that teaches the player the gameplay foundation, and implemented gamepad controls for players who use a controller to play.(8)(6) The game's showdown mode, which allows players to pause time completely, was created after receiving players' feedback about the limitations of Shadow Tactics's 'shadow mode'. Unlike Shadow Tactics, the game features a more playful tone, with characters bantering with each other more frequently.(9)

The game was officially announced by THQ Nordic in August 2018.(10) Initially set to be released in 2019, the game was released on 16 June 2020 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.(11)

Updates and Expansions(edit)

Since July 2020, Mimimi and THQ Nordic started supplying free updates for the game, which include additional mission scenarios. The first updates entail a loose frame story, titled The Baron's Challenge, in which the main characters get hired by an enigmatic figure, who is simply known as the Baron, to undertake certain missions for the entertainment of his patrons. Each mission can be unlocked with the successful completion of one or several levels in the main game. While the settings are basically the same as in the main story, each of the 14 new missions includes a different objective, sometimes with the characters having their in-play options restricted. In one example the player is required to eliminate certain enemies using environmental kills only, meaning that their other weapons are locked down for the scenario's duration.(12)(13)

Between September and November 2020, Mimimi and THQ Nordic also began publishing a purchasable three-part DLC story expansion, titled 'Money for the Vultures'. The plot is set three months after the events in the main game; Rosie, an NPC previously met in Baton Rouge (Mission 7), hires Cooper's group to hunt for the hidden wealth of Vincent DeVitt.(14)(15)

In December 2020, two new updates were provided: The 'Veteran Bounty Hunter Mode', which allows the player to optionally add the other protagonists to a level where any of them were originally not available (this option does not exist for the Baron's Challenges), and the 'Level Editor Light', a cheat which allows (in the PC version only) the complete rearrangement of a mission map's characters and items.(16)(17)

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey patch 1.4 comes out today, is 5.6GB in size, full release notes revealed

Ubisoft has announced that brand new update will be coming out for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey today. According to the release notes, this patch will upgrade your game’s version to 1.4, is 5.6GB in size on the PC, and comes with a number of changes and tweaks.

Going into more details, the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey update 1.4 addresses an issue where the camera was twitching when pressing “next” during a dialogue in Story Creator Mode, corrects an issue where the camera was twitching when pressing “next” during a dialogue, and makes the third tag in the Story info panel correctly aligned with the others and not obstructing the Story’s description.

Moreover, this upcoming patch will address several misplaced textures, address various issues with the user interface, address an issue that prevented players from upgrading the Spear of Leonidas at the forge, address an issue causing arrows to be stuck in your hand when meeting certain conditions, and will bring a number of Quest fixes.
