My Queen

This fic is for onyxonline's Space Riders AU, this time with a alternate reality in the mix! This fic is mainly centered around Quru's cultist OC Gilded and my OC, Eve Ewe! Please check Onyx and Quru out, their work is super cool!

Do note that this is non-canon to Eve's story in Space Riders, a "what-if" timeline! Want more context? Here!

"If I go with you, I betray my family, my friends... my home.."

Eve shifted uncomfortably in her father's throne, her glare at the cultist softening as she looked down. They were correct, she was holding back what she was. But it was never her fault.

Gilded simply chuckled, stepping closer to the princess.

"Yes, I am afraid that is true. But would you rather waste away, not knowing what you could truly be? Never living the freedom you so desire?"

They stepped closer to the throne, more close to the princess. A tempting aura fills the room as they gently lift her chin for her to face their mask.

"I can give you that, your freedom. If only you would let me in, I will ensure that your home and your family would be safe."

Despite fearing the outcomes, Eve lightly blushed at the cultist's gesture. The Prototype is the enemy, this cultist is the enemy. She can't betray those she loves.

But... her freedom, the ability to be herself and still be a queen. No longer to be chained by the words and orders of that pathetic elderly council.

If she was going to play their game, she had to be smart.

"I will join you. But on one condition only. No red smoke, let me be a queen and follow your god as myself, not someone addicted to a gas that will make me lose my mind."

Gilded softly tuts, impressed by her. They let go of her face and step back. They bow before her.

"Consider it done, my queen."

"My queen? You seem upset. It's unlike you, for your beauty to wrinkle like this."

Eve, dressed in dark red, calmly turned with a sigh. She was lost in thought, lost in the memories of the past.

"Gilded... if I had said no to you, said no to my life... what would become of me?"

The cultist walked closer and draped a cloak over Eve.

"Well, you would rot away on that throne to be what that council wanted you to be. Along with that, your freedom and your choice would be forgotten."

Gilded tilted her head, just like they did in the past, looking down at Eve's ocean eyes.

"But I saved you, you're free now. And you're a gorgeous queen."

They softly touched Eve's hair, letting it fall from their hands. Eve watched closely, then looked back up at Gilded.

"You're right... I-I'm free, I'm myself now. How can I repay you after so long?"

Gilded simply chuckled and gently held her hand to their masked face, the white eye of their mask looking down at Eve's eyes.

"All you may do is allow me to call you my queen."

fuck FUCK sleep deprivation is telling me to think of a bunch of Monster AU Fakiru concepts:

- Werewolf AU Fakir. Ahiru ruffling his hair and petting his ears as he nuzzles onto her for warmth and comfort. Ahiru getting lost in the cuddles, probably calls him a Good Boy accidentally and he struggles to recover from that for an entire day.

- Vampire AU Ahiru. Fakir would be the sacrificial bitch and let her suck his life out. Ahiru would be sobbing at him to protect his life because human life is precious and he's precious to her. She only really needs a shot-glass worth of blood anyway from him everyday. She has a tendency to leave him with bite marks acriss his arms and body. (Fakir probably is into bite marks on him too. Something about making him feel grounded knowing that Ahiru is still alive and well when his marks are fresh)

I might add more to these at some point. I must draw Fakir and Ahiru with fangs respectively at some point. Send help.

Killua’s tail swooshes back and forth, a cute pink bow near the bottom, matching the pink bows pinned in his hair near his ears.

Facts about TADC from the AMA with Gooseworx!

As a member in the Glitch Inn, I got privilege to watch an interview and ask questions to Gooseworx!

I normally don’t spoil things from The Glitch INN as respect people wishing to keep it exclusive to the members (including myself!). However, when it came to the AMA, I feel like knowledge like this isn’t as exclusive and will be public knowledge anyways!

• Goose always imagined Gummigoo was Pineapple-Lime flavored

• Gangle loves to draw (we’ll see more of it in Ep 3)

•Ragatha likes horror movies!

•Jax’s favorite website is 4Chan

•Jax has a lot of Goose’s personal flaws put into him

•Ragatha might be able to see out of her button eyes, but Goose didn’t really know a definite answer for it

•“Loo-lee-lah-loo” is how you pronounce Princess Loolilalu’s name.

•Episode 6 will explore how the personalities of the cast have changed upon being in the digital world

•The Canonical reason Caine and Bubble do anything is because they think it’s comical/Funny

•Episode 5 will reveal how Kinger and Zooble eat (a bite just appears taken out of the food )

•Pomnis favorite color is red! This will be confirmed by Pomni in episode 5

•Pomni was an accountant and that is significant to the plot

•Episode 7 got split into 2, as Goose wanted time to let the deep emotions settle in

•Episode 3 is very much NOT FOR YOUNGER KIDS!!! It’s psychological horror, and Goose believes it may scare younger audiences.

•Ragatha was originally going to be named Emmy, but Ragatha sounded better!!

•Episodes 1-5 have already been Animatic Boarded, they are working on the animatic for Ep 6

•Kid Pix was a huge inspiration for the 90’s-2000’s style of TADC (Kid Pix was created in 1989 and originally released on Macintosh, look it up and you can see the inspiration)

•TADC is NOT inspired by IHNMAIMS The Game - Goose has never seen the IHNMAIMS game, only read the short story and got inspired from that

•Goose actually got an Email from Glitch asking her to pitch them a pilot, and so she just built from there!
