Starting at 7pm, the lovely @melaniewarddesign will take you through the techniques of layering stencil patterns to create your very own designs on gift tags, wrapping paper and cotton bags... everything you need to know to personalise your Christmas presents. The skills you learn can be translated to go on and create festive table runners and so much more. Melanie will give advice on different paints and dyes for various projects. This promises to be a really fun evening of crafting, whilst you sip your complimentary glass of mulled wine. I had such fun at @thedorsetbrocante yesterday and spent far too much money. Arabella of @artichoke_sherborne was there and I bought a pretty candle holder and candles from @greytogreenhome, a lovely green rug and some Christmas decs from Su Mose of @waywardrose_uk and a quirky chapel chair from another stall. I then spent a couple of hours with lovely Anna from @helloquirkandwhimsy learning how to needle-felt, which was such fun. Our next workshop is Festive Favours on Friday 22nd November at 7pm - 9pm, in my studio at Spire Hill, Stalbridge, Dorset, DT10 2SG (15 mins from Sherborne and 18 mins Shaftesbury). This course is amazing value and a great way to spend a Friday evening with friends. Come and learn from guest tutor @MelanieWarddesign, how to create your very own festive tags, bags, cards and wrapping papper. You will be expertly guided through the process of designing and printing onto cotton and paper.
