My top 5 dramas of 2018!
This is list is based on my personal opinion! There are some dramas like Mr. Sunshine and The Smile Has Left Your Eyes that we’re very popular but I did not include because I have not watched them yet.
1. Thirty But Seventeen
This one and #2 were very close but I picked this drama as #1 because of how the story came beautifully to an end. This drama to me had a very unique story with a girl who woke up after 13 years in a comma. I think Shin Hyesun did a great job at playing Seori because she was so awkward but seeing her catch up to her actual age was fun to watch. Again, I like WooJin character because he was dealing with his own trauma but he was very caring, attentive, understanding, cute and supportive. In the plot there were things I did not see coming and that was very refreshing to see. The leads were loving and had great chemistry. This drama was also very cute, funny, sad, intense and to me it had it all to be the best of the year!
2. Something In The Rain
This drama was going to be #1 for me. I know that dating in Korea is very different than in America. Korean parents care too much about what people say, they want inlaws that come from a rich family or with good and simple family background. I know they want what’s best for their kids but seeing Jin-ahs mom was frustrating that it made me feel so bad for her. Reading about the plot I had a feeling this drama would be interesting because I knew how complicated the relationship between Jin-ah and Joon Hee would be. I watched in angst a lot of the episodes because I wanted them together so bad but there were a lot of cute and funny moments too. I honestly could go on talking about this drama forever. I really really liked it too but the reason this drama is #2 is because of how the story ended or rather the long break they had before they got back together in the end. I didn’t like how it took them that long and how we barely got to see them happy in the end. I would’ve liked to see what else happened if they got married and had kids, so the ending just felt rushed and short.
3. Prision playbook
This drama took me by surprise! I never knew that I would like a drama where romance wasn’t the main part of the story. I started watching it because of how much people were talking about it and I was not disappointed. The story of each inmate was very unique, they were all in jail for different reasons. It was nice to also learn about their stories and not just about the lead. I liked how funny it was and it was fun to see them become a family. Lieutenant Pang was one of my favorite characters! The scene of captain Yoo when he will get a new trial made me cry!
4. Come and Hug Me
Nam Da Reum and KiYong made the perfect pair to play the young and older version of the Di Jin. If you enjoyed Just Between Lovers than this drama is definitely for you! It is a melodrama with a tragic love story that has left the character with deep scars and traumatic memories. This drama is all about emotions and you will feel all of them and it will scare you at times. I was not expecting this one to make it to my top five but it definitely did!
5. Where Stars Land
I picked up this drama after watching 30 But 17 after not knowing what else to watch and this drama captivated me from the first episode. It was a drama again that was fun to watch because there were no plotsof a love triangle, no parents getting involved, no poor girl rich boy, it was very interesting to see the lives of people who work at an airport. I have learned so much about how life and worklife is in Korea thanks to dramas like this one. I like to see dramas that show more of how people live in Korea. At first it seems very normal, a girl who works for an airport meets a boy only that boy moves around thanks to prótesis that are also killing him. (The no so realistic part of the drama) the romance was cute and also the second leads were very fun to watch!
I tried to make it short but I could go on and talk about drama for a long time! This are my top five dramas of the year!

Olhar a realidade é desanimador, desesperador.
Questões que eu estou desistindo de perguntar e responder;

'Squid Game" de Netflix, protagonizada por Lee Jung Jae, se estrenará en septiembre

In episode 4 of “Prison Playbook” they played Wonjae’s song about an hour and twenty minutes in. I’ve never been anymore pleasantly surprised than today.
