I don't remember if you answered this question, but did you go to art school or are you self-taught? Have you studied from YouTube videos?

nah, I never did art school. I learned a few things from books when I was a kid and got signed up for a short summer art class one time, since I was thinking about being a professional artist and my parents were trying to help me along. I learned how to use digital art programs from tutorials when I was a teenager, but I haven't used tutorials much besides that. pretty much everything I know has been from observing other artists online and experimenting. so yeah, I guess that means I'm self-taught, haha.

I went to school for music and vocal performance, but I could tell a long story about the university I went to, how they weren't really qualified to train musicians and how I dropped out. I've already been working professionally as a performer for 7 years, working with a private teacher and as a teacher myself, and I have tons of experience that I never would've gotten at school, so it's all working out really well.

thinking about the trope horror of assistants in the Daycare just straight up failing or quitting over and over and over again is as funny as it is tragic to me.

of course if you're waltzing on in there, rearranging the furniture and scolding the Robot who Literally Lives There it would cause problems. change is inevitable and always looming but would it not just get tiresome acclimatizing people to this role, just for them to quit anyway.

Oh totally! Metal Sonic believes that he is Sonic and that the real Sonic is an impostor, even though he is inherently flawed by having no free will and more importantly, being murderous, cold, proud and ruthless while Sonic is nothing more than a boy who loves his friends and family above everything. Sonic is driven by love, Metal by hate. That's why he would never identify with Sonic and his attempt at compassion and would rather be destroyed than accept help.

Alastor likes to romanticize what he did to Vox and Niffty. He has absolutely no problem admitting that, yes, it was torture, and one of the most horrific, violating forms of torture imaginable to boot, but he sees a certain beauty in it. He thinks about it in terms of “metamorphosis” and “creation.” He’s fine with describing it in terms of destruction too, but anyone can destroy a person; it takes a truly extraordinary level of skill to be able to create someone new, at least in his opinion.

Okay but the fist fight scene is Yosuke finally trying to stop putting Yu in a pedestal, he knows that admiration/devotion/slighty jealousy he has for him is not healthy at all, "crap he must throw away", he made it clear before asking him to get knocked, he appreciates him, part of him even loves him, but he thinks he deserves a good punch to get some sense into him. When Yu says "let's punch each other, so we can be equals" it's totally a way of showing how this two's relathionship feels less one-sided and more like partners.

That's why i do believe the anime did such a good job with this scene, specially that It was after the whole almost killing Namatame thing, Yosuke owns him an apalogy and both of them needs to make this better, feel better about themselves and each other, and It fucking worked, despite Yosuke was capable of making Yu feel better aside of himself afterwards, and that's what makes their relathionship so interesting, they're not perfect, but for sure they're two flawed people that can overcome anything if they propose it, remember, they're two fucking 16 years old.

And hot take, but persona 4 should have been written like persona 3, their persona evolution should have been outside of their social links, bc in that way their characters could have been more flashed out, i was dissapointed the fist fight didn't happened in the same time it happened in the anime, bc making It in his social link, not only some people may miss it, but It also felt a little weird, making the characters's actions or behaviour seem out of place in the main story depending of which part of the sl are you, such a significative changes in the characters shouldn't stay in an optional "hang out" option and i stay by this opinion

▹ Mask sees mask. Apathy and grace are not so far apart, and it wouldn't shock me if both Seres and Hikari could recognize each others 'acts', see the seams and know something ( someone ) else lies underneath it. Perfectionism born from Pride, and perfectionism born from Culture, no? Seres doesn't comment on it, but they do keep a quiet tab on it. It does make for an awfully delicate dance though, if the feeling is mutual.

▹ Eternal legacies, done differently. I find the contrast between Hikari's legend status enduring and maintained beyond her reign as Champion, vs Seres maintained BECAUSE they are still Champion after so very long, very interesting! Seres personally respects the hell out of Hikari's choice to resign from the job, but I'm curious if the fact that Seres regal to almost ethereal media presence as both a fellow savior and beauty icon alongside the maintained throne ever rubs against Hikari's pride <3

▹ 🤝 BRUTE FORCE LOVERS. Of course strategy is what makes or breaks the fight when it matters most, but there really, truly, isn't anything quite like steamrolling- and more importantly, finding someone who loves to hit just as hard as you.

▹ Hikari would know more about the near disaster Kalos faced than Seres would about Sinnoh's. While Team Galactic's actions were still known of ( and as Champion, Seres has done their fair share of research, ) certain things simply just couldn't be buried by media. A country-wide announcement of genocide- that could be saved to voicemail, mind you -by a world leader in technology, public appearances of historic doomsday weapons and figures, and Kalos' northwest region leveled by the equivalent of an orbital bomb... a large portion of information lost was due to witnesses dying, rather than media coverup.
