The dumb, mildly fetishist "traditional wife" blogs like making posts about husbands choosing their clothes.
Throughout much of human history, WOMEN chose their husband's clothes, not the other way around.
Why? Usually, the women had made the clothes right down to weaving and colouring the fabric. Men wore the clothes their wives and mothers made for them, sewed for then, or even bought for them. They did that, and made damn sure to be happy about it, or they wore nothing at all.
That's why matching family sets of traditional folk costumes are a thing.

Never forget; he's not a ~trad husband ~, he's a loser that thinks the fucking stepford wives is a viable 21st century economic model and an accurate portrayal of history.

Why procreation should be "a fact of nature" rather than a social, historically determined activity, invested by diverse interests and power relations, is a question Marx did not ask. Nor did he imagine that men and women might have different interests with respect to child-making, an activity which he treated as a gender-neutral, undifferentiated process.
In reality, so far are procreation and population changes from being automatic or "natural" that, in all phases of capitalist development, the state has had to resort to regulation and coercion to expand or reduce the work-force. This was especially true at the time of the capitalist take-off, when the muscles and bones of workers were the primary means of production. But even later — down to the present — the state has spared no efforts in its attempt to wrench from women's hands the control over reproduction, and to determine which children should be born, where, when, or in what numbers. Consequently, women have often been forced to procreate against their will, and have experienced an alienation from their bodies, their "labor," and even their children, deeper than that experienced by any other workers. No one can describe in fact the anguish and desperation suffered by a woman seeing her body turn against herself, as it must occur in the case of an unwanted pregnancy.
—Silvia Federici, "Caliban and the Witch: Women, the Body and Primitive Accumulation".

Lemlich was a Ukranian Jewish immigrant who emigrated to New York in 1903. She became a garment worker and joined the International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union. She was a key leader in the Uprising of 20,000, the massive strike of New York garment workers in 1909. Blacklisted from the industry for her union work, she was active in the women’s suffrage movement. She joined was a leader of the United Council of Working Class Women. A life long activist, in her last years as a nursing home resident, Lemlich persuaded the nursing home to join in the United Farm Workers' boycotts of grapes and lettuce and helped the workers there to organize.

Statement on the Split in AF3IRM
Originally posted February 7, 2023
Tumblr media
News has recently surfaced regarding a split in the organization known as AF3IRM. We will not go into the details of this split here, as the comrades directly involved have already published their own principled criticism of AF3IRM and summation of the issues leading up to the split (find their statement here: https://proletarianfeminist.medium.com/our-split-from-af3irm-shedding-light-on-our-issues-to-encourage-our-growth-towards-a-real-76cd1bcae395). Since the initial statement was published on February 6th, the number of signatories has only continued to grow, sitting at 48 at the time of our writing this article.
At this time, the Chicago Chapter of the Revolutionary Maoist Coalition wants to extend our unconditional solidarity and support to the brave comrades who have broken with the liberal leadership of AF3IRM. Building a revolutionary women’s movement that is 1) free from both male-chauvinism as well as bourgeois liberal feminism, and 2) based in proletarian feminism, anti-imperialism, national liberation, and scientific socialism is one of the most pressing tasks of our movement today. We applaud the bravery and revolutionary discipline exhibited by the comrades who are now working to forge their own path forward in accomplishing this goal. Let it be known that you are not alone, and that we in RMC – Chicago are happy to aid in this work in any way possible.
Moreover, we formally denounce the actions of AF3IRM leadership not only for the liberal, pro-imperialist, anti-democratic tendencies which led to the split, but also for the manipulation and misinformation — described by one former-member that left during the split as “psychological warfare” — employed by them in the wake of the split. Those who remain in leadership have audaciously claimed that only two members of AF3IRM have left, denied the existence of the split, and claimed that social media pages formerly affiliated with AF3IRM which have posted about the split have simply been hacked. This should be seen for what it is: utter cowardice. It exhibits nothing else other than a fear of accountability; a fear of ideological struggle and criticism; a fear of the truth.
We wish all 48 signatories of the document shedding light on the split the best of luck in continuing their struggle for a revolutionary proletarian feminist line. You comrades are justified, brave, and supported by revolutionary women and gender-oppressed people everywhere.
Down with imperialist “feminism”! Proletarian feminism forever!  Long live the women’s struggle!  Long live the international proletariat!
Signed,  Executive Committee Revolutionary Maoist Coalition – Chicago

Whose class interests (excepting those of the bourgeoisie) are served by advocating the desirability of contractual marriage and the consequent perpetuation of the subjugation of women? If we look at its material basis, we find that proletarian anti-feminism is most characteristic of those strata of the proletariat whose wages are sufficient to maintain a family at an average working-class standard of living. In such strata, where wages are adequate, a woman whose labor power is privately appropriated is a real bargain, for the same services, if waged, would be totally out of reach of the men.
Proletarian anti-feminism represents the particular material interests of highly paid, unionized male workers vis-a-vis women. The subjugation of women serves as a "natural" restriction upon the employment of female labor, and thus partially controls competition in the labor force. It keeps women unorganized and powerless in labor organizations. It secures male workers the benefits that accrue to them through their right to privately appropriate female labor power as well as the psychological "benefit" of always having a woman inferior to serve as a waitress, lover and servant, securely dependent and, at least theoretically, humbly grateful. No matter how low a man might fall, his wife is lower yet; no matter how powerless a man may truly be, his home is his castle and his subjects his wife and children.
—Marlene Dixon, "Left-Wing Anti-Feminism: A Revisionist Disorder."

Liberalism (and Choice Feminism) is Rotting Our Brains
I just saw a woman talking about the cosmetic surgery that she just had which is a surgery to remove the "excess" skin on her eyelids so her eyes would no longer be hooded.
This made me feel sick to my stomach, as it always does when I hear of/see people seeking to remove a feature that I also have.
Choice feminism would have us believe that every choice we make exists in a vacuum, that our decisions come solely from our whims and that they affect only us.
Cosmetic plastic surgery under this lens is sold to us (literally) as pure body customization and packaged in a cute little justification of "personal preference". If this were true, we would see the customization go both ways; you would see just as many people getting bigger noses, adding double chin, getting wrinkles, adding fat to stomachs. But you don't.
We are being fed white supremacy, antisemitism, anti-blackness, anti-indigenous poison and they are calling choice. When we point out that possession of these features are used to enact genocide even to this day (go look at the Nazi propaganda, look at the eyelids) we are accused of being un-feminist because we are shaming women for their "choices".
I am not against body modification, pierce, tattoo, stretch, mark your body to your hearts content. Just never believe the lie that our choices are exempt from white supremacy, patriarchy or capitalism. Over my dead body is some bourgeois surgeon getting 5 grand from me to help prop up Nazi beauty standards.
N.B. This in no way refers to gender affirming surgeries which are HEALTHCARE!

Corporate Hierarchies
Just thought I would share the write-up I made of corporate hierarchies and the various positions within them, in case they were of use to anyone.
Investors (anyone who invests money in a corporation):
"[T]here are some fundamental differences between an investor vs shareholder. An investor can invest money into a company without the need for shares to be issued. [This means] investors may choose to invest in any sort of business structure, including a sole proprietorship, a partnership, etc. It is quite common for investors to place money in startup businesses to aid their growth and development. This is an action shareholders cannot do, as shareholders can only become equity owners when the company decides to issue its shares." (https://lawpath.com.au/blog/investor-vs-shareholder-whats-the-difference)
Basically, a loan provider (though repayment is not always required).
All shareholders are investors but not all investors are shareholders.
Shareholders:
Anyone who owns stocks/shares (there is a difference but it varies depending on who is writing).
Has meetings such as the Annual General Meetings (AGM), though who can attend these is dependent on the organisation and can be limited to those who possess a certain amount of stocks/shares.
At the AGM, they can establish a Nomination Committee - a committee to select new board members - by calling for a vote to do so (voting against such a request is generally not done).
Members of the Nomination Committee must come from the board.
Shareholders can also directly nominate candidates for the board (this is called Nomination from the Floor) but only if the company bylaws allow for this.
Executive Chairman/Chairman of the Board
Selected by majority vote by the board of directors.
Calls for and heads the board of directors.
Board of Directors:
Elected by the Shareholders via the Nomination Committee.
Maximum of fifteen legal entities (corporations can be on the board of directors for other corporations).*
Set the overall goals of a company, e.g. regional/market-share expansion, "greening," or cost-reduction.
Monitoring progress towards these goals and reporting this information to shareholders.
*"The law as it stands requires that only one director on a company’s board be a “natural” person and any number may be corporate directors. Provision to prohibit the use of corporate directors was made in the Small Business, Enterprise and Employment Act 2015 but this has yet to come into force." (https://www.downthewireblog.com/2020/12/limit-on-corporate-directors-consultation-opens/#:~:text=The%20law%20as%20it%20stands,yet%20to%20come%20into%20force)
Committees:
One or more legal entities are usually comprised of a subsection of the board of directors.
They have a more specific mission than the board of directors - which usually assigns them their mission.
Standing committees meet on an ongoing basis.
Special committees meet for a limited period to address a specific problem or need (e.g. the nomination committee).
Examples include:
The executive committee (recruitment and performance reviews senior management and evaluation and negotiation of confidential business opportunities);
The audit committee (oversees the organisation's financial reporting process);
The governance committee (addresses meeting calendars, the nomination of board directors, the formation and membership of committees and changes to bylaws).
Chairman (usually Chief Executive Officer - CEO):
CEOs are hired by the board of directors (internally or externally).
Heads Executive Team Meetings (ETMs).
C-Suite
Smaller companies will have two or three c-suite executives (CEO, CFO, COO), larger companies could have seventeen or more.
Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
Chief Administration Officer (CAO)
