fr fr as much as I love being contrarian in my drumming equipment selections I need to stop using SD2s, like half of the pairs I’ve used ever have just exploded on me on the first use
This Post-It Note piece is for sale. £25 plus packaging and postage. If you are interested drop me a message at [email protected]
The Post-It Notes I work on are 76mm wide by 127mm deep in canary yellow and I generally use a Pentel Brush Pen and Staedtler Pigment Liners for the ink work, Copic and ProMarkers for the colour.
I’ve created a backing card that the sketch sticks onto and works as a flat mount to fit into a store bought 6” by 4” photo frame should you wish to hang your art on a wall.
do you like to follow current fashion trends or do you have a particular style that you prefer to stick to?
i doo in a way, cause i got two styles i love and i switch between them depending on a phase i go thru (changes every few months). normally i enjoy looking like a skater dude, with all the clothes that would be considered cool nowdays, adidas skete shoes, hoodies and regular fit pants, funky socks, or checkered shirts. second style is vintage one with classy shirts, sweaters over them too, official pants that and converse type or leather shoes. like 50s-60s vibes. i feel like this one is worth more to wear when i go out n meet ppl... i wear it on my trips to vienna.
are you currently working on any creative projects? if so, what kinds?
hmm i do have like 10 WIPs drawings in my procreate folder that i post on patreon as i work thru them or abandon lol other than that i got natan who is my oc and i still wanna make a comic with him, but it always gets kinda pushed aside, i just wanna do too many things. like i also sculpted his head a while ago and i'm prepating to sculpt sth else, like a fullbody or sth. ah and i'm working on a sticker set to sell! i started making them traditionally with promarkers but it was too time consuming so i stopped and scanned them to finish digitally, then print in bigger quantities and sell.
do you have any pets? if so, what are their names?
i got a shih-tsu mix dog and their name is Tashi, means good in tibetan. small devil it is

All mallets are made personally by Andrew at his home workshop in the Adelaide Hills.
For Schools: Andrew has designed a set of timpani mallets for use by student percussionists. The Scholar Series includes 3 sets of mallets to meet the needs of primary school and high school students.
For Professionals: Hand crafted with care, these mallets cover the full range of colour and articulation needed by professional players.
i drew up the picture in the top left to the bottom right. i used watercolour and measly added colour to where it was needed then to bring it out and make out the shapes i sketched over it with a fine liner to stick to the messy look. from last year i saved anything i didn’t use and had two painted abstract rectangles with matched with the colour theme perfect so i added them into the black spaces.
i don’t really like the arcade page. it’s seams very blank due to the white spaces. but i do like the range of art work on it. i used water colour to copy the design of the claw machine. over that i collaged a donut man using pages from a magazine. then with pastels i drew the pillar of the arcade. i’m still don’t like using pastels but every now and then i do revisit them to try and figure out the best way to use them.
for this using watercolour and pro markers i drew some colourful terrace houses. i did it in a messy style again as i don’t like realism art. i think art shouldn’t copy things to a pinpoint. next to that using embroidery thread and coloured glue i stuck it down following the patterns. i used coloured glue so that on the back it still looked interesting and shows how i did it. then at the bottom i stuck down other images of building i saw that day
for signs and stuck the page in half and did one half in black and white and the other using colour. for one side i used pencil which is my preferred media. and then on the other i used promarkers to write down what one of the signs said.
for church i drew the pillars in hb pencil and colour pencil. i also drew up the flowers using watercolour and promarkers to highlight the areas instead of using line liners to do so.
for peasholm park i tried to push myself and use the pastels i’m still not improving much on using them, i really don’t like the texture. for the other two i used watercolour for the statue and pro markers for the sign and the sign was in block colours so it was the easiest choice. the statue had texture too it and small details so i used watercolour to achieve that.
i’m not too good at taking pictures straight ahead so i’m the photo gallery app itself i edit them to become a little more aligned.

t's a great feeling when you pick up a new skill, technique, or even develop an overall new approach to how you play in between releases. But getting to see those things manifest into the songwriting of new material is even better!
