The angst of Oceanus joining the Titans in PJO is so unexplored.
While he stayed out of the first titan war for the most part, his daughters Metis & Styx were definitely Olympian loyalists, with Metis even being the one who made the potion Zeus served to Kronos (making him throw up his kids) but his daughter Clymene's sons with Iapetus were divided.
After the Titanomachy, he & Tethys raised Hera, who loves them dearly.
His daughter Metis is married to the new king Zeus, so everything should be going great for their family right? Except no, his son in law does the same thing to his pregnant daughter that his cannibal brother did to Zeus's siblings, and unlike the children of Kronos, his daughter wasn't lucky enough to escape her cannibalizer.
His granddaughter is born eventually, but she sticks by Zeus. She's even his favorite with Zeus getting credit for creating her alone. She never mentions her mother, Oceanus's daughter, it doesn't seem like she even cares.
And Hera is now married to Zeus, she loves him, so he tries to support her, only to see her heart get broken over and over again. Hera loses her patience when it comes to Leto, every god including her own mother betrays her, but Oceanus & Tethys still stick by her.
Maybe Oceanus is grateful when Hera spares his granddaughter Maia from her wrath, despite Maia being just as guilty of having an affair as Leto? But when it comes to another one of his granddaughters, Io, she's not so gracious, and unlike Leto & Maia, Io never even accepted Zeus's advances. She was assaulted, by the same cannibal who ate his daughter. Fortunately Io survives, but Hera made it clear she's not making exceptions for his family anymore.
Yet Oceanus still loves her. She's just as much a daughter to him as the others, and she loves him & Tethys, she comes to them with tears in her eyes constantly. Zeus's actions sucking out her joy and warmth more and more each time they see her. Hera has abandoned her kindness, only hurt is left in his once affectionate foster daughter.
She makes him & Tethys swear to not help Callisto, he loathes doing it, but if he betrays Hera the same way Rhea did, it would destroy her, she would never trust him again. Everyone else has always chosen Zeus over her, even though it was him who was the source of Hera's misery, and as he only ever admitted to himself, the source of his own misery as well.
Kronos comes back, & the rest of his brothers.
Hecate, once an ally of Zeus, joins the Titans. While beloved by Demeter, Hecate is just as loving of a mother as the goddess she served, and there is no place for her children. She brings with her some allies from the Underworld in Nemesis, Morpheus, & Melinoe.
His grandson & nephew Prometheus expects loathing from his father as he sided with the Olympians, but Iapetus only embraces him upon reunion. Oceanus sees his brother's eyes burn with rage once he learns Zeus's brutal punishment & torture of his son.
The desire for revenge by those locked in Tartarus are clear, but Zeus has hurt them in more ways than one. Hyperion has lost Helios & Selene and Koios has lost Asteria just as permanently as Oceanus has lost Metis, he grieves with them. Their children fought for Zeus and the Olympians over their own kind, the Titans, just to be brutalized, abandoned, & tortured when they were no longer wanted.
People sing praises to the Olympians, but all Oceanus can see is the pain they caused his family, and all this time, he did nothing.
He didn't help dispose of his abusive father, he didn't stop Kronos from eating children, he stood by as his own children & grandchildren fought each other in the first Titan war, he didn't retaliate for the murder of Metis, nor for the injustice faced by Prometheus, not even when his own daughters & granddaughters were getting assaulted by Zeus, Poseidon, & their spawn, and he's tired of doing nothing, so he joins.
All he makes Kronos promise him in turn is that Hera will remain unharmed under Kronos's new reign.
She's hurt his family, and that hurts him, but if Zeus was gone, there would be no women she would have to resent.

The idea of Prometheus looking out for Ethan in the ta makes me so ill
The person who wants the best for Ethan, a boy who is so convinced that he is just a tool for his mother, is the literal maker of humanity who is going to explain in detail how wrong that idea is

Prometheus: this is my favourite little mortal who has everything wrong with him, Ethan, do the thing!
Ethan: *thinks about his life and bursts into tears*
Prometheus: See? He knows tricks!

Titan army? Waging psychological warfare on one (1) Thalia Grace by bringing her thought to be dead brother to the truce talks? More likely to happen than you'd think.

Writing a oneshot about Prometheus and Leo and holy shit Prometheus is a delight to write (i dont fucking care that he sides with Kronos canonically, Rick you can have Aphrodite, Ares and Loki but you ain't fucking up our guy Prometheus)
Hes just being mildly passive agressive towards Zeus and interupting him.
He cant say anything outwardly cus Zeus is the one that can make his punishment worse but that wont stop him from interupting Zeus telling him about a prophecy to ask about Apollo's wellbeing after giving the prophecy or internally comparing Zeus to a toddler.

that scene in tlo where thalia tells percy he can't start feeling sorry for luke bc luke made his choices. and thalia reveals that the reason they couldn't make it to camp in time for all of them to make it to camp was bc luke kept picking fights. and annabeth never saw this as wrong bc luke was her hero. so thalia had to pick up the pieces. and percy thinking both that luke was put in a cruel position and that luke was putting others in a cruel position. and percy is the only character who understood both sides of luke bc annabeth sees only the best of him and thalia sees only the worst. and that's why percy is the prophecy kid and the one who gives luke the knife. bc annabeth had spent the entire series essentially giving luke the knife when he didn't deserve it. and thalia was never going to give luke the knife. but percy is the only one who can see exactly when luke deserves the knife.

Yeah yeah Iapetus redemption is fun and all, but honestly, he should be rightfully angry at Zeus for the fates of his sons.
Menoetius was stuck in Tartarus with him.
Atlas has been carrying the sky since the 1st titan war.
Prometheus was getting his liver eaten out daily for giving humans fire.
Epimetheus's wife was deliberately made to screw over humanity (who Prometheus invented and loved) because Zeus didn't feel like Prometheus's punishment was enough and had to mess with his brother too.
And sure, Iapetus's sons aren't perfect, some of them in fact are not good at all, but he's still a father and those are still his little boys. And they suffered a lot.

Titans win au or smt
Warning: a 13 year old dies
Alabaster shifted from one foot to other, trying to relieve the ache, not that it did worked. His vision was getting blurry, his spine was on fire. He hadn't consumed anything for almost a day. Perhaps more? The council meeting had started somewhere around mid-noon yesterday and he hadn't left the side of Kronos's throne since, hadn't been allowed to. He had no idea what the time was. They were still arguing.
His mother sent him a brief sympathetic smile from upon her throne and went back to ripping apart Hyperion with her words. If he didn't know it would anger his lord, Alabaster would hold onto the throne's armrest to stop his legs from wobbling.
His head snapped up as the throne room's doors bursted open. A scrawny child with torn clothes and a thin jacket stood at the entrance, cursed loudly when they realised where they got in. Alabaster's throat constricted; the child couldn't be older than thirteen, might even be one that he had took captive, the faces had all started to blur together months ago, he wouldn't know. They probably found an opening to escape and took it, and gotten lost due to not knowing Othrys's layout.
'Run' he mouthed. Above him, as the top of his head barely reached the edge of the armrest, Kronos shifted. Alabaster stilled as he felt a hand placed on his head, standing at attention.
"What’s the saying, what the cat dragged in?" Kronos hummed, "An intruding rat."
The kid made a peeping sound, clearly terrified, eyes darting across the council members frantically. They held their dull blade between Kronos and them, chest raising and deflating rapidly as they breathed out loud.
"My lord," Prometheus raised his hand, "if I may?" He didn't wait for an answer.
"If we can not call mortals rat.. Of course some of them may be quite like them but I'd want to inform that I've worked hard on them and—"
Prometheus shut his mouth as Kronos raised his hand. Alabaster sighed quietly at the relief of the pressure on top of his head being gone. How nice of Prometheus to draw all the anger at him in his attempt to boast about his creations. Hopefully Kronos would remember that and take his frustrations out on Prometheus this week? Call him selfish but Alabaster didn't have a desire to inquire his lord's wrath.
"I am not a rat!" The kid cried out. "I will- I will get out of here and we will end your reign!" They pointed their blade straight towards the main throne.
An intense dread filled Alabaster up as Kronos tilted his head. "How cute... How naive. Demigods," he sighed, " always the same. Always acting like I didn't warn them: Pledge loyalty or die."
A few of the Titans chuckled. Alabaster's gut twisted as the kid inched on themselves, trying to back away, only for the doors to close with a crackling slam.
"You're a demigod!" The kid begged to him. "Why are you doing this? Why are you helping him?"
The kid was young, as young as his littlest sister.
They wouldn't be the youngest person he had killed.
"Torrington!" Kronos bid, waving a hand as if bored.
Alabaster pulled his sword out of his scabbard, watching the kid's eyes grow wide with increasing terror. He took a step forward—
Alabaster stared at the dark marble floor mortified as he collapsed to all fours when his knees gave out. The low chattering cut off. He could feel the scrutinising eyes on him. Kronos broke through the silence.
"Up." He commanded, like you would to a pet.
Alabaster helped himself up with the intricate carvings alongside the throne, but shamefully swaying on his feet even after that. Kronos clicked his tongue, and pushed him down to his knees with his two fingers. Near the back, Atlas howled with laughter. Alabaster stayed put, bowing his head, averting his gaze to not see the pure unadulterated disgust in the kid's eyes.
A gust of power breezed through the room. After a loud thud, and the following silence, the argument over the sacrifices re-began. Alabaster lifted his head slightly to see the kid's crumpled body near the wall, laying in a pool of their own blood.
At the sound of finger snapping, Alabaster rose to attention once again.
They had won the war, both of the camps were gone. His mother finally had the throne she deserved. He was as miserable than he ever had been.
I'll elaborate if someone asks or maybe later but for now ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I just realised something
We all know that percy gets more powerful when hes in the water right
But the same thing doenst happen for other characters who have elemental powers like:hazel, leo, jason or Thalia
I was thinking about the prometheus mission au that i created on my head and then i thought, what if the reason why leo doenst get powered up by fire is because its the purest form of the element, like percy doesnt get more powerful when he is in contact with blood for example because even if has water is not pure water
So maybe leo can only get powered up through lava, magma(only volcano lava not the lava wall) or divine fire because these are the purest form of the element
So what do you guys think it would power up jason, thalia and hazel?

According to Microsoft Word the Prometheus and Leo shot takes seven minutes to read and 11 minutes to read out loud.
It is not even finished yet.
I read through it, highlighting bits i wanted to change because its been a long time since i opened the thing and....
Tumblr media
All that yellow is the stuff i need to edit....
Its not even finished
---
Here's the parts I do like tho:
Zeus did not return the smile. Sometimes Prometheus, in his endless free time, ponders if Hagno taught that boy manners.  Ever the social butterfly, Aidoneus — or Hades, as he prefers, turned invisible and left without so much of a greeting.
He's been told before that he's too soft on humanity. The other gods mocked him for sacrificing everything to gift them with flame. But the mortals are as much as his children as Aidôs and Deucalion are. Wouldn't you feel the same kind of affection for your own creation?
This entire interaction:
"Apollo was given a prophecy years ago—"  "—Is he okay? Was he given nectar afterwards?" Prometheus asked innocently, "I know just how tiresome visions and prophecies are on the immortal body. He's a young boy, so—"  "He's fine!" Zeus snapped. It seemed that Prometheus was burning through his patience quickly.  "Good."  Prometheus smiled innocently, annoying Zeus by taking an interest in things he deemed 'unimportant' (Prometheus disagreed with that sentiment: nothing or nobody is truly unimportant) or feigned ignorance were the few harmless ways he got small revenge. He watched Zeus scowl with disguised amusement. It reminded him of a spoiled child being told no.
This part I have to give context on why I like it is because throughout the shot Prometheus refers to Zeus as many epithets but despite all the sass this is the first time it's more of a negative epithet (of war/warlike) and from then on it's usually son of Kronos:
'To kill a foe that won't run. One unlike any other you've faced before.' Zeus Areius had said.
This part I love even tho it's not even part of the fic yet, just a scrap I have set aside for until the part it belongs to is written:
You, Klytotekhnês, couldn't defeat a titan." Prometheus said.   "I know," "but I have to try."
