it’s been a while but zee was one of kanaya’s first Good purpleblood experiences, and she let him around the kids so she trusted him a lot... they were definitely real good buddies, and a welcome reprieve from the more common story of trolls wanting as far away from kanaya’s kids as possible. it’s been a very long time since they really talked a lot though... she’d be more than willing to be friends again but she’s gotten a lot more paranoid and defensive since then so there would need to be external effort to get back to that
