4 Yume Yume Jump drabbles for Day 5 of MMJ Fan Week on Twitter

one, two, three, the four of them—if nobody else, Kanade has to do everything she can to support all of them. She wasn’t supposed to be an idol. Producers don’t perform, and Kanade doesn’t dance. She’s not accustomed to leaving her house let alone meeting up for singing and dance rehearsals everyday. The sudden lifestyle change has been exhausting, but even so, if personally delivering the music she writes can help even one person, if being a fourth member can do any good for the others, if she can find a way to save herself, then she has to try.

five, six, seven, eight—this is so stupid. Shiho should be playing at a concert or at least running fingering drills until the strings of her bass are worn. She doesn’t understand how she could let herself get roped into something that has nothing to do with her goal; least of all she understands why she’s starting to care so much. Her sister and their manager promised her freedom as a temp. So what if she doesn’t have the choreography down entirely? She doesn’t need to dance where she’s going. Shiho isn’t an idol. Why is she suddenly trying to be?

one, two, three, four—An has to memorize every step. She needs to be able to move without hesitation, without thought. These movements will become second nature so that she can focus the most on singing, performing, and delivering. She finally has people to perform beside, and she only had to give up what was most important to her to find them. After such a sacrifice, she has to do everything to not lose them too. If she is going to stand a chance of living her dream, she must make every action count or run herself into the ground trying.

They all have to surpass what they think they can be to stand a chance with a crowd. She must do her best—be perfect. In front of adversity, she quickly realizes the only thing they can do is try.

tsukasa gets isekai'd to twst but as an actual student in a dorm and not the prefect.

happens right after the big argument in the main story. our star is sitting in a park reflecting things over when he's taken by the carriage. he wakes up at the entrance ceremony with everyone else and he can already tell something about him has changed. he has rabbit ears now and everything is very loud, including his own voice which causes him to talk much lower. something is telling him to not act like his regular self (and rui telling him he wouldn't be a star ringing in his ears), so using his voice to his advantage he creates this meek persona.

when the dark mirror asks for his name, he tries to answer with his actual one but his mouth says a different name. "sue times." okay, great, tsukasa can work with this. his name is sue times, he's a white rabbit hybrid person (now that he can see his reflection) who's very meek and shy. perfect. now how does he execute that?

he gets sorted into heartslabyul where he already hears about a troublemaker who snuck out of the ceremony.

everyone goes on as in game.

first day of classes, he befriends a diasomnia student by the name of alexander goldenheart. well, it's more like tsukasa just stuck with the guy all day because they had the same classes and then the guy just gave him his number with no warning.

tsukasa and alexander stay out of the main plot until book 3 because the tweels tried to target tsukasa and would have succeeded if alexander wasn't there. there they meet yume asta (the yuu for this au) and get involved in the plot.

Personality and Backstory:

Konran is a quite an overbearing and controlling person. He also has severe trust issues as well as an inferiority complex. He is also known to throw a tantrum when things don't go his way causing his sister to question his maturity.

When he was younger, Konran was deeply affected with the fact that he and his sister had absent parental figures. He took it upon himself to be the parent figure his sister never had. Although he had good intentions, he didn't really execute it well. During the events prior to WxS forming, Konran grew more and more suspicious of his sisters friends, especially Rui. He saw his eccentricity as a form of danger in Nene's life.

During the first year of high school, Nene finally had enough and confronted Konran about his behaviour to which he denied being overbearing and that he only wanted what was best for her. This lead to a massive argument between the two which ened up with Konran breaking down in tears and apologising to his sister for everything he's done to her up to this point in time.

Konran really had good intentions but overtime it just sort of faded into paranoia (bug reference) of his only family disappearing in his life like his parents. As of the current timeline in the JPsekai story, Konran and Nene have a much healthier sibling bond.

Side note, due to Nene being a performer and a gamer, he tends to do all the household chores and all those menial tasks.

Obligatory "How he met Toya" section:

After the events of Close Game: Offline, Nene and Toya hung out more often meaning that Konran saw him around the house a lot more. At first, he was completely in denial about his feelings towards Toya and even our right saying that he'd never date a guy like Toya. But despite all his efforts on hiding it, a certain purple haired eccentric with weezer blue highlights found out.

(This is all I really have for this section, all I know is that his love life w Toya is a slowburn fwb with Konran being jealous of Akito and how close he is with Toya)

All those funky facts about Konran:

His name means chaos/dismay which is a contrast to Nene's name (her name means peaceful/quiet)

Konran is ambidextrous

He has an atrocious phase during middle school where he'd pretend to be "one of da boyzz" (ykwim)

Konran is secretly interested in gyaruo fashion

He like frogs, specifically the Red Eyed Tree Frog that's native to Australia

He has a dinosaur onsie thing that Toya got for him and he REFUSES to get it dirty/stained/damaged etc.

Overall, Konran is just a big brother who had good intentions but fucked up badly. He gets character development when Sega finally gives me a Toya 4 star /hj

Analyzing trends in each of the prsk units' event titles because why not

Leo/need: Mixed between Japanese and English titles, mainly English. I've also noticed that events with English titles are more focused on the group as a band (Resonate with You, Knock the Future!!, Little Bravers!, etc), while those with Japanese titles are focused on more personal struggles (Stella After the Rain, those two Honami events with the really long names, That Day the Sky was Far Away, etc)

MORE MORE JUMP!: Mainly a mix of Japanese and English in the same titles (Kokokara RE:START!, Todoke! HOPEFUL STAGE♪, Tsunagu Painful Hope), lots of exclamation points, overall shorter, likely to be more akin to idol song lyrics and group names? Though I've noticed that events more focused on the past have longer titles that are fully in Japanese (Dear Me, From Back Then, Beyond the Dream on That Day, At the End of the Unraveled Threads), likely to give them some sort of disconnect? I don't know how to word it-

Vivid BAD SQUAD: They're literally all in English except for Singing in Sync, probably because of how common the language is in street music and group titles and stuff. References to the Vivids and BAD DOGS names are somewhat prevalent, lately there's been a fire motif due to the whole truth of RAD WEEKEND situation.

Wonderlands x Showtime: Like MMJ, mixed Japanese and English titles, though I've noticed that the happier the event, the more English in the title? It's not consistent of course, but compare POP IN MY HEART!! and Wonder Magical Showtime! to Kaaten Kooru ni Sekibetsu o and Yume no Touchuu, Kagayaku Hoshi-tachi e-,

Nightcord at 25:00: Earlier titles were shorter and used more English (Secret Distance, Carnation Recollection, etc), while as the story has gotten more complex they're basically full Japanese sentences (Someday, This Wish Will Transcend the Morning Sky, Saying Goodbye to My Persona, etc). I've also somewhat noticed that a lot of the events focused on Mafuyu's past and relationship with her mother use more English (Imprisoned Marionette, Mirage of lights, Immiscible Discord), that simplicity probably symbolizes something idk-

Some random personal info I have previously said in posts or I just want to let you know now:

I scripted and drew my first serious comic for class work about 4 years ago. But it's not like I regularly write, it only comes out when I need a script for a comic, and I usually have a hard time writing, which is actually one of the reasons I decided to start this blog: to get better at writing.

About what got me into writing, don't know. Probably a collateral damage from wanting to make comics

If Kanade and Emu have ever interacted in game, either I can't remember or I haven't seen it. I think they might be too different and don't have enough in common to bond over anything.

As for Airi and Akito, it's safe to asume that they originally met for Ena, and at some point they might have bonded over their mutual worry for her. It's also clear that they respect each other. I'm speaking from memory, but there was this interaction in which Airi requests Akito to watch over Ena. There is also some instances where Akito tells Ena to not to bother Airi so much, and an area convo with Akito and Airi in which he apologizes for "the way Ena usually behaves" to what Airi tells him not to worry. Airi also notes to herself here that Akito is a good little brother. I'm just rambling at this point lol. Basically, I guess I like that, despite they are not that close, they are able to understand each other enough to have mutual respect.

I would like to say it's hard to choose just one, but evidence shows it's Mafuyu. I also enjoy writing Shizuku a lot lol. I have had some writing sprees for Nene, Haruka and Honami so it usually depends on my mood, too

As for the character I relate the most it's prooobably... Mizuki. I've stuggled in the past with the fear of being left behind and not worthy of having friends. But, personality wise, I guess the closest one would be Toya

I actually never could choose between Mizuki and Mafuyu. Sometimes is more Mizuki, sometimes is more Mafuyu, but they are both always there. But if I had to choose, gun pointing at me, I think I might choose Mafuyu because aesthetically wise, is a little more my thing.

I'm guessing you mean adding to the current member, without replacing anyone. Mmmm, I can say a little of my thoughts, but very disorganized.

For example, in Nigo I could see people like Rui, Haruka, Toya or even Honami, if their stories had another circumstances

In Wandasho, somehow Mafuyu and Akito could fit with their "good personas". Probably Airi since she seems good with a crowd. I feel like Mizuki could have fun here making costumes, too.

In MMJ, Kanade would be just so funny, zero stamina idol lol. An kind of has that idol aura that might just work (these two both were already in April's fools YUME YUME JUMP, so). Also, Tsukasa idol career when, he could fit so well here. Saki maybe too, siblings idols(?

In VBS it's kind of hard, but I think Ena could scream from the bottom of her heart here (in songs(?) Shiho kind of fits in street music, I think (? Nene might find use in this for getting over her social problem, and she would be also singing, but not "musical style". Ichika could also do well here, probably

And finally, Leoni, Kohane and Minori could do well in "just some friends vibing" same as Shizuku. Emu is very friendly, so why not

As said before, I also draw and it's probably my main hobby ( I guess it count's as a job too since I'm on a team as concept/2D/UI artist, yeah all in one, we are a small team). I have been drawing for as long as I can remember, but probably anime got me into taking it a more seriously (Naruto lol)

I also play videogames on a regular basis. I have also played games for as long as I can remember. I'm kind of hooked to OW2 right now but I play many kinds of games. Like, not long ago I was hooked to Puroseka and Elden Ring simultaneously, which I guess sums up my variety of games quite well (I had to drop Elden Ring because my poor 6 year old computer can't take *redacted*'s boss fight. Quite sad. Hopefully I can finish it properly when I get a new PC in the future ;v;)

As for more hobbies... I guess I like gardening, if that can be considered a hobby. I just bought two new plants today, one of them being peppermint because I love its smell. I have always liked nature but never got around on taking care of my own plants until about 2 years ago

I think they'll be both switches, but it usually goes with Nene little spoon, Emu big spoon because Emu would be usually the one initiating physical touch/affection

One last thing! I wanted to thank everyone for the support on this blog! Really makes me happy that people consider my writing worthy of reading. I'll try to keep this blog up for as long as I can, but my writing sprees are very weird lol

Project Sekai Idol AU

Now that our first set of MVs has been released, I think it's time we truly begin to dive into this AU :D

Their order of appearance (as in debut) is: YUME YUME JUMP!, Sunny☆Wonders, Wisteria, Fantasy Dreamers, and PASSION♡proJECT.

YUME YUME JUMP! was originally the most popular of the idol groups when it was just the first three. While each had a popular idol in them, Shizuku was ultimately the most popular and thus more people became fans of YYJ.

That being said, YUME YUME JUMP! would quickly fall in popularity when a new, all male, idol group debuted. This new all male idol group was Fantasy Dreamers.

Toya was originally set to be Fantasy Dreamers Prince Charming. However, his quieter nature made him more suited for a mysterious figure, so the Prince Charming persona ultimately fell onto Tsukasa.

The only person in PASSION♡proJECT who was excited for the opportunity to be an idol was Minori. The other three weren't all that for it, but went along just for her.

Each group has a center, someone who's almost always at the front. Those people are: An, Haruka, Airi, Tsukasa and Nene.

YYJ's management wanted Shizuku as their center. However, Shizuku pushed for An to be their center since she stood out the most between the four of them. With her darker hair and tanner skin, management eventually agreed that An did stand out the most, making her the one who'd be perfect as YYJ's front and center. And it worked. Putting An as the front person skyrocketed her popularity more and YYJ will sometimes really be pushed into that contrast look with An dressed in darker colors while everyone else wears lighter ones.

Both Sunny☆Wonders's and Wisteria's managements decided upon having the popular idol be their respective groups centers. While Mafuyu and Ena were both considered, they decided having someone already popular would boost the groups overall popularity. It worked, but not enough to be more popular than YYJ and less so when Fantasy Dreamers shot up to being the most popular group.

One of the biggest differences between Fantasy Dreamers and all the other idol groups is that they do somewhat have more of a say in what happens. Somewhat is your keyword. When it came to choosing someone who'd be at the front, it was easy for them all to choose Tsukasa. However, on the off chance someone else had to, they all agreed that Toya would be that person. Of course Tsukasa was the one chosen in the end.

When PASSION♡proJECT's management said they were making Nene their center, it wasn't done because they thought she was the best suited for it. It was solely because of her stage fright. Their idea was for their center to be someone who overcame her fears and was able to finally stand in the spotlight. Thus, being PASSION♡proJECT's center is actually very stressful for Nene because she is constantly being forced to be right in front of the group. She's the one who has to do more training so she can be their center, no matter how much the other three say they wouldn't mind being their groups center if it meant relieving Nene of that stress. But the decision was made and that's that.
