Youtiful is a 24+ literate & novella GEN-AU MEWE KRP catering to those interested in a “canon-divergent” take on Gen KRP and desperately seeking a place to harbor muses of an older generation with an older crowd of peeps. Canon Divergence AU is a term coined by fandoms for fanfiction set in a universe that diverges relatively narrowly from canon, with a point of departure in a character’s backstory or even during “canon.”  It is a common setting for most writers in roleplay communities, allowing muns to have room for creativity within a reasonable context as long as they are able to support the inferences being made about the muse they’ve chosen to “pen.”

His Royal Serene Highness, Prince Giovanni Tomaso Adriano Giulio Cesare Tiziano Vitaliano Giurgiulena.

The eldest son of Grand Duke Sebastiano and Grand Duchess Ma. Victoria, and the eldest child in general, Adriano has always known what is expected of him, and thrives on the meet-and-greets, supermarket openings, and grand tours that pass as work for royalty. His passion for sports is perhaps his only outlet, given the strict etiquette constraining him and his desire to make the Grand Duchy even more spectacular than it was in its heyday under the Sim’medicis. 

Only little Maria Margherita can distract Adriano from his work. (She has yet to distract him from playing polo.) But she cannot inherit the Grand Ducal throne when he passes, and he and Margaret have not been able to have more children. Will the Giurgiulena line die with her? Would he be able to name one of his nephews as his successor? Will he even have an eligible nephew to name? It’s questions like these that keep him up at night--and he’s been so tired recently. Is this what middle age feels like?

This is the body that will utimately make a decision about a uniform national handwriting style if there is to be one.

Long before Gutenberg arrived on the scene in the fifteenth century with his fancy printing press, people were penning everything from prayers and poems to mantras and memoirs. And everything in between. Even after the proliferation of print, the humble pen continued to flourish. History owes a lot to the literates who, entirely off their own steam, chose to document the times they lived in. Without people such as Samuel Pepys, there would be huge caverns in our knowledge of major events that happened in relatively recent history. But over the past couple of decades, there has been a tangible shift away from ink and lead-based inscription, into digital representations of this thing we call language.'

Shout out to @olivaraofrph​​​ for helping compile this task in celebration of Native American Heritage Month! The Blackfoot Confederacy are one of the largest American/Canadian indigenous groups consisting of the Siksika, Kainai, Amskapi Pikuni, and Aapátohsipikáni people who all traditionally spoke the same language and had a vastly similar culture to each other. There’s a masterlist below compiled of over 80+ Blackfoot faceclaims categorised by gender with their occupation and ethnicity denoted if there was a reliable source. If you want an extra challenge use random.org to pick a random number! Of course everything listed below are just suggestions and you can pick whichever character or whichever project you desire.
