just like every time i write a chapter for LoF i had so much planned out and now im like. this chapter is gonna be two scenes but so fucking long. and that's BECAUSE Peter is talking about his past foster houses + Dick is gonna tell Peter about some Batfam stuff (thanks Loki for pushing that plotline along)

Time travel to me is so exhausting as a plot device when done wrong...but when done right? Wow that is one of the best plot devices ever. It always comes down to grief and love and the acceptance that those two things can not be separated from each other, those two things that can not exist without the other. Time is the arbiter of both.
