Ok, trying ETG A G A I N. maybe this time it will work? Anyway here are my babies:
Farol Picante III (Farol) - Andalusian/PRE
Perks:
- Fun to ride
- Very responsive
- Sweet and loving, very affectionate <3
- GORGEOUS and handsome
- Rewarding to train/work with
Quirks:
- Has bad days (like all of us) and is toxic about it
- Stamina is lower than desirable (thus making dressage kinda hard/stressful)
- Eats a LOT
- Knows he's gorgeous and used it to his advantage
Ok next horse:
Bella's Stella Luna (Luna) - Selle Français
Perks:
- Very pretty
- Jumper prospect!
- Purebred
- Very smart
- Has some training but can grow a LOT more
- Pretty responsive
Quirks:
- When she gets tired, she acts like I'm "punishing" or "being mean to" her (I'm not) by putting her head down and ears to the sides
- Hates Farol
- Hard-mouthed beyond comprehension
- HUGE turning circle
- Shitty gaits
- Never wants to extend/collect and only does so begrudgingly or out of spite
- Eats more than Farol
- Probably knows she might go on to achieve greatness but is too lazy to
Ok so that just about wraps it up for my new ETG adventures with my glorious children. I'll keep the hellsite posted on this (and Luna, too lol)

Allegro photobombing me while I take a picture of his crop circle (first left pic), Allegro and his dam Contessa on a first outing in the pasture when he was about a week old (them legs! top right), and Allegro showing Contessa his parkour moves (bottom).
Amaya (3 months older) and Allegro in the goat pasture, Allegro at the hay feeder, and Allegro in the side pasture cleaning up tall grass. <3
Andalusians are fun, 10/10 would recommend. ;)
Rehabbing a ton of fences, on the other hand... is not fun. Zero stars. ;) But it's a work in progress.

If you get this, answer w three random facts about yourself and send it to the last seven blogs in your notifs! Anon or not, doesn’t matter, let’s get to know the person behind the blog :)
Hmmm, I always struggle with random facts, because like what is random anyway?
One of my favorite books as a child and still to this day is Mister God, This is Anna.
I taught myself how to pronounce the front-rolled r by saying pura raza espanola a truly staggering amount of times as a child, because I wanted to pronounce the horse breed correctly.
The first fictional character I was attracted to was the animated fox Robin Hood.

We love this clip presenting "Horse of Kings, Thief of Hearts" a documentary by Dutch movie maker Mario Dirkx expresses some of the truly unique characteristics and romance of the purebred Spanish horse / Pura Raza Española (PRE), in some countries called the Andalusian horse because of its roots in Andalusia, Southern Spain.
It was made some years back, but it is well worth seeing again: Horse of Kings, Thief of Hearts, the Carthusian Horse
PS. If you look in the family tree of a PRE / Andalusian horse, in search of "Carthusian" (Cartujano) ancestors you might not find any. The name refers to the Andalusian monastery "La Carjuja". Look instead for brands / bloodlines such as these: Bocado, Terry, Romero Benitez, which are all pure Carthusian. DS

SSO Name: Scarletwitch
Name: Escarlata (Lucia)
Pura Raza Espanola Mare
Story:
Lucia is the most recently purchased horse by Adelaide. She is only a yearling and is right now just growing up in the pasture until she is old enough for Adelaide to begin training her. Lucia’s dam, named Sunny, was one of Adelaide’s favorites of the Baroness’ Andalusians. Adelaide ended up asking the Baroness if she could breed Sunny so that she could have a foal of the beloved mare. When Lucia was finally born, it was like love at first sight. She was such a charming filly and took after her mother’s beautiful chestnut color.
