This is a song i wrote about losing my mom earlier this year. Spring has come and has brought the world back to life, but loss is a really weird thing isn't it? Things that used to make you happy can now make you cry because it reminds you of them. All you can really do is believe they are still with you in some way and live the rest of your life as best you can.
lyrics below the cut
The sun is out The sky is blue Flowers blooming Love does too But all of this feels empty without you
There’s so much beauty to behold So many stories still untold But i don’t want to tell them without you
I know this pain won’t go away So i’ll just take it day by day But if i had my way you’d still be here
We’d sing some songs and share some laughs But i know life doesn’t work like that So i’ll just tell myself you’ll be with me
(intermission)
The sun is out The sky is blue Flowers blooming Love does too So i will try my best To live out all the rest Of my life without you

I wrote a song about the hardships of displaying your affection publicly as an LGBT person.
Lyrics below the cut
english lyrics: We may be walking together, but we're not really together at all We almost seem like strangers and it's making us sad We discussed this and it's better this way We'll offer no resistance, because, you never know
I want to be able to kiss you and hold you on the street But when love becomes public, then hate might do so too
Hold on
Let go
Hold on
Let go
Hold on
Hou vast
Laat los
Hou vast
Laat los
Hou vast
I am very fortunate to live in a country where my rights are protected by the law, but the harsh reality is that prejudice and violence against LGBT people still exist here. Fear of discrimination causes us to hide ourselves and in these times it's so important for LGBT people to be visible. We constantly have to choose between being ourselves or being safe and that's not okay.
