Excellent! Consider it a late birthday gift, I really wanted to draw Claude hanging out with my vampire fella Thomas!

How does Claude feel about other vampires, generally?

He’s the rare outlier vampire that reacts positively when he meets another vampire. Most vampires tend to keep to themselves (the numbers of vampires living together in groups has steadily grown but it’s not common).

Vampires are generally weary of other vampires, either for territorial, power, or other reasons such as vampires who feed off other vampires. Avoiding other vampires was another fledgling vampire lesson he was never taught.

Having never had a sire, he desperately wanted to found out what he was and would greet another vampire with enthusiasm and a smile. He does have a couple of vampire friends he’s made over the years, one of them being Calista! He met her in the 1980’s!

Bats! The mixed media artbook/zine I've been working on for a long time about punk bats and parasites is finally available!

"Inspired by 90s, 2000s, and 2010s goth, punk, and otherwise niche animation, music, games, and comics. It started as pen doodles inspired by the works of Johnen Vasquez and a lot of Deviantart comics I read in middle school and much of the artwork was done in notebooks with ballpoint pens.

It's been more than two years in the works and includes monsters, shitty poems, harsh palettes, recipes, a guest piece from the incredible artist Kelly C, and dozens of full-page, colored illustrations."
