Road Trip!

Last week, we hit the road for a Mother-Son road trip to the Nation’s Capital.  Yep, that’s right, we went to Canberra.  And it was Can-tastic!  Why was it so great well, let me tell you! From where I’d rather be... Still feeling a bit poorly and not really up for much more than shuffling around the house; but about a month ago I was sipping French Champagne and learning all about the world’s best caviar. I could demolish some caviar right now. Instead I am eating a defrosted meal and drinking green tea, trying to understand mortgages and finances and generally failing at being an adult. But at least I can look back over my blog post and pretend I’m in the QT Lounge again... (at QT Canberra)

Caviar is one of those ingredients that automatically sends our minds into a montage of luxury, decadence and history. Love it or hate it, the lightly salt-cured sturgeon eggs holds a lofty place in the world’s cultural subconscious as the ultimate luxury food. It shouldn’t really be any surprise then that someone as luxury-obsessed as I am would jump at the opportunity to attend a Caviar Masterclass held at QT Canberra as a part of the 2018 Good Food Month events taking place in Canberra; hosted by the lovely Lisa Downs, Caviar Ambassador.
