remember a few nights ago when I came home from outfest like “feeling Emotions about Anthony Perkins” well this was why
they just released a small part of the “Queer for Fear” ep I got to watch about the history of queer horror. The stuff with his son especially got to me.
Queer For Fear having a full discussion about whether Mrs Danvers from Rebecca is a service top or service bottom is the film discourse I have been CRAVING (Ps totally a top come on)

Learning more about Bride of Frankenstein from Queer for Fear. And two things occured to me. 1. I'm not sure I'm into pop culture's depiction of the Monster and the Bride as horror's ultimate couple...when the first thing she did as a living being was a scream that could be translated as 'No!'.
2. Why isn't she an aro and/or ace icon? She's an ironic destruction of amatonormativity. Even with Queer for Fear, some of the interviewees went 'maybe she would be into someone else'. Why?! Just let her be alive.
