One week until sign ups open!

Hey everyone,

We've been so pleased with how excited so many of you are about the upcoming Big Bang! This week, count down to sign ups opening begins, so please just keep your excitement going a little while longer, and then the ball will be rolling before you know it!

A quick explanation on how it's all going to work:

We'll make a post with links to three different sign up forms (via google forms) These will be Writer, Artist, and Beta Reader forms. Pinch Hitter forms will open later.

Decide on your role(/s - you can have more than one!), and choose the right form. The Artist and Beta Reader forms will give you the option to work on more than one project within the Bang. However, you're restricted to writing on only one project.

Read the form carefully, fill in all fields, and submit the form - you'll find a link to our discord server when you're done. Please note, anyone joining the discord server without sharing their username on the form will be kicked from the server.

If you struggle at all with this process, send us an ask! We can answer privately if you send it off anon and indicate that you want it answered privately. You can also reach us on bluesky or twitter (details in pinned)

Once you've signed up, welcome to the event! The next thing that'll happen is claiming in January, detailed in our schedule and more details to follow.

Writers, we encourage you to get started with your projects, but artists and betas can sit back and relax until claims.

okay gang, i finally got to all the replies (that i could think of) and theyre queueud for the next 5 days 2 post a day. if by next week-this weekend you do not see a reply i mightve owed, feel free to reach out to me / link it to me and ill get on that!!!

i still feel like i lost a lot of partners/followers once i moved blogs and i cant remember all of them. so that totally sucks. but ill be around. send memes?

"What's wrong? Your date stood you up or somethin'?" A familiar voice calls out to you from the other side of the railing, and you find yourself wondering how you missed the telltale sounds of Teo's McLaren pulling up. "...Fuck, are you shivering? Didn't you bring a jacket?"

Shaking your head, you cast your attention on the cracked pavement and try to ignore Teo's scrutinising gaze. You weren't in the mood to listen to his snarky comments — all you wanted was to curl up at home and delete all of your dating apps. Maybe even heat up some leftovers, considering how you weren't able to eat dinner because of your date's inability to show up.

Unbeknownst to you, Teo merely glances at the time on his watch before pulling out his phone, shooting a quick text to someone, and begrudgingly calling you over. "Get in then. I'll drive you home."

Instantly, your head shoots up. Was Teo being... considerate for once? The look of shock must've been plastered all over your face — especially considering how he simply rolls his eyes at your expression — but before he could take back his offer, you quickly shimmy yourself around the metal railing and into the passenger seat.

You barely have time to shut the door before he's throwing his expensive Zegna jacket over your lap and flicking on the heating system.

The (uncharacteristically) soft gesture was very much appreciated and needed — especially considering how disappointed you had previously felt from being stood up by your date. Seriously, the moment you see that asshole again, you were for sure going to throttle their neck and—

"—Same address, right?" When you don't respond, Teo cocks his head in your direction. As if noticing the prominent scowl on your face and spaced-out behaviour, he tries to pull you from your thoughts by waving a large hand near your head. "Hello?"

"...Sorry?" You look at him confused before sinking deeper into the seat and gazing out at nothing in particular. You weren't in the mood to converse with your university friend right now, but you didn't have the heart to snub him completely.

Teo must've picked up on your downcast mood and connected the dots by now, which was why he let out another deep sigh and turned his car in a different direction.

"…Wanna go smash in their taillights instead?"

Large majority of drafts are queueud up to post every 40 minutes on here and @princeubbe there are 14 so far to be posted from here and 11 left over at Ubbe to be posted. I feel as though that is productive at least.

I've been looking through some other dev's ren'py code just for references sake (mostly gui stuff) and the way Sai names shit in their code is so fucking funny I'm losing it
