Good morning!  I hope you slept well and feel rested?  Currently sitting at my desk, in my study, attired only in my blue towelling robe, enjoying my first cuppa of the day.  Welcome to the weekend!

Wow!  Here we are again: Friday!  Where did that week go?  No, seriously, where did that week go?

Premium hospitality with two of our favourite people last night.  Not only do they have a top-notch fish and chip shop nearby but the hostess served-up mushy peas to go with it!  If that’s not a touch of class, I don’t know what is!

The first drug to slow the progression of early stage Alzheimer’s will not be available on the NHS in England because health assessment body NICE says the benefits “are too small to justify the costs”.    Lecanemab has been licensed for use in Great Britain by the medicines regulator, the MHRA, which means it can be prescribed privately.  So, wealthy people will be able to take care of their relatives but the rest of you will just have to deal with it!

According to a story in the Telegraph, The UK is the second-most miserable nation in the world.  Britain has been placed at the foot of a mental wellbeing index.  I guess it will take us a while to recover from 14 years of corruption and mismanagement.

The great rapper Nipsey Hussle (R.I.P.) once said, “If you look at the people in your circle and you don’t get inspired, you don’t have a circle, you have a cage.”  I’ll leave that to percolate through your brain.
