Photographer Research 2

Rachstewartnz is a photographer I look up to and admire as her images tell a story about New Zealand's landscapes and the environment around her. A key aspect I can learn from her is telling a story, when I view her work I find that she is showing "her New Zealand experiences" and "favourite locations" as should I in accordance to our assessment brief. I particularly like her image (seen below) of Lake Pukaki as again the rule of thirds has been used, placing her subject in the middle bottom with a wide camera focal length. This shows the environment but also a person enjoying the scenery. This image also draws the eye towards the subject with a diagonal leading line of light.

I can learn from her work as she manages to tell a story about her journey with New Zealand.
