Annual birthday fic time - and we’re switchin’ things up this year :D Baccano! has been a huge part of my life since 2008, and Claire and Chane in particular own my heart - it only made sense that I’d eventually write a fic with them :) I’ll be back to my YGO nonsense soon... but lord help me I had headcanons aplenty while I was writing!

Quick question, if I say "villain with a great introduction scene", which character comes to mind first?
#When I say introduction scene I don't necessarily mean the first time you see them#More like the moment that makes you go 'oh they're the villain' if that makes sense#Idk just been thinking about how good the rail tracer introduction is in Baccano#And I can't seem to think of any other villain reveal that stuck with me as much as this one#I'm pretty sure if I think long and hard about it I can find a few others that are just as good if not better#The closest one that comes to mind is the one with that guy in Battle Royale i forgot what his name is#At least in the novel his intro was great I don't remember the movie well enough to compare

With @jelloapocalypse playing the Murder of Sonic protag in his playthrough with the Jerry Jewell voice, it gave me the headcanon that he was that universe's rail tracer, but he never needed to change to that persona cause everyone else had a handle on things.
