Does anyone else think of their characters in generations?

I've been larping for 2 years now. i have 9 characters, either active or in the works. Gens don't go by years in my head, more like groups of characters I debuted when I had different levels of understanding how swordcraft works.

Nina (dark elf), Arissa (human) and Kitri (wood elf) are gen 1 - Lack of experience, lack of understanding of lore and how the game works, kinda just playing tropes I want to play.

Eris, Fiachra and Areia (all high elves) are gen 2 - Bit more experience, more understanding of how to help characters fit into the universe, working with people on kit, story, generally better-made characters that'll have stronger foundations to start on.

I have an unnamed (maybe) human tavern wench character that'll probably end up gen 3, my dark elf for night games, Datura, doesn't really fit into a generation because she doesn't have an ongoing story.

I love my silly little hobby and it's so fun to develop all these different characters!
