tiny nitpick i’ve seen in the doom patrol fandom, and i say this as someone who has DID: 

1. don’t call jane’s alters personalities. it’s super outdated and the correct term is alters, or parts. both as as good as the other but personalities implies somehow that the alters are just... well, personalities, when alters are separate people with their own lives and desires.

2. stop tagging jane as k*y ch*llis stop tagging any of the alters who arent, yknow, kay, the child, as that name. just because it’s the body that they inhabit’s legal name does not mean that you should call all of the alters in the system that. they have their own names! they want to be called those names and they are more than the body that they inhabit. also, the name of the body often comes with a LOT of trauma for systems, as the alter who goes by that name often experienced the most trauma, and certainly did in the underground’s case. whenever they’re called that name they’re reminded of a child who almost died from trauma, and who they feel they couldn’t protect.
