This Aamir Khan, Urmila Matondkar, and Jackie Shroff starrer became a blockbuster owing to its original soundtrack by AR Rahman and some outstanding performances by the star cast. But did you know this 1995 hit featured a star who recently bid a sad adieu to the entertainment industry?The very famous late art director and production designer, Nitin Chandrakant Desai, who committed suicide at his ND Studios, Karjat, owing to a financial crisis, starred in this multi-starrer film and played a small role in the film.Desai played the Gujarati layman with a newspaper standing at the bus stop, whom Munna (played by Aamir Khan) continuously asks for time. Though for a few minutes, he shared the screen with Aamir Khan, during the same year, Desai associated with Aamir for 'Akele Hum Akele Tum' as an art director, which was released two months after the release of 'Rangeela'. oh my god hi anon i love that you think i have good taste in movies. if i had to rec a movie i think Rangeela (1995) or Eega (2012) would be my go-to. Rangeela is like, an amazing urban musical with really cool 90s techno music and vibrant cinematography and costumes. You can watch it for free on YouTube i think, along with the other movie Eega. Eega is an action movie about a man who dies an unfair death and is reincarnated as a fly who must avenge his previous death. The acting from the love interest played by Samantha Ruth Prabhu and especially the antagonist played by Sudeep is excellent because both actors have to pretend that they have a housefly for a co-star and they do a great job of it.

hindi film soundtracks from the years 1997-2002 just hit different. the music sounded fresh & new but still melodious and nostalgic if you listen to it today. i was watching kahin pyaar na ho jaye the other day and the songs were so cute & fun. they didn't sound dated at all and the vibe was just great
