I really like what I did with the hair hmmm

I made her a bit chubbier (dk why) and gave her the make up

I’m not really sure if it looks good but I did it already so no turning back now

gave her a couple of piercings and pants and that’s pretty much it oh and also removed that god awful, random ass gap in her jacket

I did some redesigns!!

I didn't change a lot of their designs, I just touched them up based on the characters and how they interact w things.

Thought process for the redesigns-

Rappa - I just gave her baggy pants and another sleeve for her jacket. Hoyo seems to have a hard time with how to make a "hot waifu." They keep designing female characters with either really tight or revealing clothes (which just doesn't make 'em hot in my opinion). It feels more forced and very repetitive with how many women have this going on, especially when it doesn't make sense for certain characters.

Furina - I feel like Furina should get a change in design after the Archon quest and her story quest tbh. Since she took on more of a director role alongside some acting she should have a design that shows it. I also feel like this would be another way they could've shown her distancing herself from the Archon role that she had to play. You know, like they did with Wanderer.

Lingsha - I gave her a tank top thingy (idk how to describe that) that I stole from her skirt and short shorts that tie under her chest. I also gave her those cute slip on heels that aren't that long. My gripe w her design is also the same w Rappa but also that fact that she has a similar outfit design you can see on a good chunk of women in hsr wearing.

Kachina - I just turned her shorts into short overalls, her weird ripped crop top as an over the shoulder cape thing, and gave her a more comfortable looking tank top. I also gave her- her melanin back. I only had highlighters on my person at the time so I used purple and pink for her skin. Let's just say I am very upset that I thought that was a great idea at the time. I am so sorry Kachina, I have disrespected you! QnQ

Stelle - I just gave her a long side cut skirt with some stretchy tights underneath. She gives me 'silly random twirl to see/feel everything swish' and 'legs open, I don't give a fuck sit' type of person tbh. Also to match Cealus bc it's weird to see her legs.

i think sampo should be redesigned to have the tiny shorts that rappa's design got. including the weird thong thing that cant be comfy. sampo would fuck that up so hard

Not much of his design is changing, Just fixing proportions and changing the flannel to purple instead of turquoise for a few reasons

Parappa Redesigns again/Anime Rewrite

I changed up their designs again. I think the series overuses blue and red with clothes and blonde with hair, so I switched them up. Also I'm personally not a fan of busy color schemes. That's just me though. I will probably change the designs to the original style, the added features still there. Anyway, somewhat rewrote their personalities. Not taking much away from the original at all, more like adding things, making slight changes, and mixing game/anime elements. Paula Fox: Pretty much the same, but I upped her tomboyish side, she still has a soft spot for fashion though, but not as much as Katy.

Sunny Funny: Is sweet and polite like in the anime, but still has her rude streak from the games. Parappa Rappa: The exact same as in the games with a bit of the anime, don't want to change him. I believe in him too much lol! Katy Kat: Has her personality from the games, still energetic and supportive. However, she does have a small temper when provoked. She also is Groober's younger cousin, but is much taller than him. PJ Berri: The same lol

Matt Major: I want to keep him mostly the same but add more depth. Not sure exactly how, but I'm guessing maybe he feels insecure deep down? I mean in the episode where he and Parappa ran away from home, Matt seemed to want to prove something and he was much more eager to run away than Parappa (but it's been a while since I saw the episode). Also I decided to make him Parappa's older cousin Feel free to agree or disagree with these choices lol

opinions on rappa's design? you draw him a lot so i'm curious.....

i love rappa. i truly do. but i think rappa’s design sucks

you can tell what they were going for but they missed the mark (idk how u fumble mixing ninja wear and streetwear.) i think with a few tweaks the outfit actually could be cute, mixing y2k mcbling with ninja gear. instead they gave her that fuck ass half sleeve jacket and legwarmer sandal heels and it’s so horrible. i think they tried to go for something “sexy” but it just. clashes with everything. i think i would like the design more if they just gave em pants and sneakers. the thong fucks severely however. i will give them that . but errrr… i don’t think it suits the character.

left is how i would redesign in game rappa, something that’s practical but loud! right is if mhy was based and gave us diversity in their game about traveling the universe but i try and stick to the og design

this is so true… she could’ve looked extra good if she had pants too… idk why hoyo keeps making pink haired girls w bright ass red accessories.. it just doesn’t work all the time!!! i’ll redraw rappa but kinda more seriously than my cartoony redesigns cuz i think she could’ve looked extra cool

rappa's design would've eaten so hard if they went for a more jet set radio vibe than vtuber who averages 4k views a stream. im sorry but the potential of a cybercore, y2k, galaxy ranger that is a bit of a weirdo was sooo promising but they slam dunked that shit into the milk way and not the hoop
