rappa is a really good character because they intoduce her and you're like "haha what a weirdo what's wrong with her" and then the game goes "oh! You want to know? Let me show you :)" and you end up just sitting there like

Man. HSR characters are so wild to me. Like you can have some of the most tragic stories I know and at the exact same time have them be the funniest characters I’ve ever seen.

Like it could go: Here’s a man who has lost absolutely everything. He lost his home, his family, his daughter who didn’t even learn to walk yet, his body, his humanity. Having become nothing but a weapon, he’s now on a never-ending quest of revenge to kill the man who destroyed his world.

He is also a cyborg cowboy who can’t swear.

Or it could be: Here’s a girl who was experimented on from a very young age. Having only a handful of books to comfort her she let them color her entire worldview. That worldview hides the horrors she faced, that from that very young age, she has killed, that she was tormented. And she will probably never come to terms with that.

She is also a total chunnibyou who calls everyone stupid nicknames.

I could go on, but you get the idea.
