I woke up today without the willpower to get ready and rush to class in the 10 minutes I had left. So instead I rose quietly, spent a long time putting together an “effortless” outfit, and got a coffee.

I showed my friend H this place ages ago. However she quickly outstripped my occasional attendance and they made her a regular, special punch-card and all. She doesn’t go here much anymore, but I wish I could go more. My wallet screams at the idea though.

I got a oat latte with raspberry (my classic) and splurged on a chocolate croissant (which isn’t pictured because I devoured it immediately). The croissant was a hit with all the random babies that were there this morning as they all stared at me eating it.

ngl I think I love this one almost as much as the ramen, the two tone resin and the raspberries make me SO happy <3 I had some from another kit so I added them on a whim and it turned out SO well

I like Cookie run, I play Cookie Run Kingdom and I was looking at my “Hall of Ancient Heroes”

And I had the thought of “Hey what if I turned them into the Ancient Cookies as an art challenge”

What started on December 4th and finally finished tonight, I present:

I really miss the catholicism coffee shop where my sister used to work. It was always nice and dim in there and sometimes they would play random gregorian chants and that would just be the music for the day

I've done this for characters that aren't in Kingdom too but the art isn't as cool for them so making the images with the words over the images won't look as cool :(( I'll have to do it eventually though so Oof-

anyway uh romanization and also a fun fact at the end:

Strawberry Cookie = توتفرنگی کوکی (tootferengi cookie) Avocado Cookie = آووکادو کوکی (avocado cookie) Espresso Cookie = اسپرسو کوکی (espresso cookie) Latte Cookie = لاته کوکی (latte cookie) Pancake Cookie = پنکیک کوکی (pancake cookie) Lilac Cookie = یاس بنفش کوکی (yaas banafsh cookie) Clover Cookie = شبدر کوکی (shabdar cookie) Blackberry Cookie = توت سیاه‌ کوکی (toot seyah cookie) Raspberry Cookie = تمشک کوکی (tameshk cookie) Fig Cookie = انجیر کوکی (anjir cookie) Mozzarella Cookie = موتزارلا کوکی (mozzarella cookie) Almond Cookie = بادام کوکی (baadaam cookie)

Fun fact: تمشک (tameshk) is actually the word for both raspberry and blackberry in Farsi. I asked my baba how to differentiate and he said sometimes people call blackberries توت سیاه (toot-e seyah), or "black mulberry" (توت I think can refer to either berries in general or specifically mulberries. That's why it's also in strawberry. توتفرنگی basically means "foreign berry" on a literal level). there's your Farsi fact of the day
