This is the first year MCR or Joji wasn’t in my top 5 😳 My mental health is out here HEALING lol

I did however get struck with the “replayed a song 27371616 times and it ended up on my top 5” syndrome… But like… for 4 out of 5, lol.

Swedish symphonic industrial beasts Rave The Reqviem are back with their 5th studio album EX-EDEN. Their blend of styles similar to the likes of Amaranthe and Beast In Black, instantly spotted straight into the catagory of “my sort of thing”.

Absolutely no holds barred, “Doombreaker” has a big title and an incredible track behind it to back it up, a tornado of tones and sounds with crisp growls and a thunderous female chorus, what a way to start! “God, Demon, Machine” encaptures the same spooky but funky sound typical amongst the likes of Rob Zombie, only with little complexities keeping it tied to the futuristic style. They get ex-Amaranthe clean vocalist Jake E to help out with “How To Hate Again”, which is funny because in my head those 2 bands are mortal enemies and this is a dig, anyway internal monologue aside, it’s really addictive song with very sweet chorus vocals that subtlety anchor into your brain leaving you unable to hum or sing it randomly. “Exit Babylon” is a really optimistic and triumphant track, feels like a fitting ending but then comes “Angry All The Time” which is an old fashioned sounding song, but it’s so creepy that such dark depressive words can be sang so sweetly, but that’s the best thing about it.

Another very successful outing from these guys, they’re consistently producing great albums time after time. I would love them to do a UK run, preferably with Amaranthe if possible, a man can dream.

Finally found a use for these heart pins, still need to figure out what to put in the bottom square beneath all the hearts.

Also got done with fixing the blue light-up wire to the collar and stitching a spiderweb to the right pocket.

Other things i plan to add are:

-chevron style pan pride flag made out of more light up wire on the left pocket

-cyberpunk spine on the back with rgb leds

-tiny oled screen nametag

-one (1) NASA fabric sleeve on the left

-A handful of buttons

-a bottle opener

-maybe another blue light wire on the bottom seam

-An "Ask to pet" patch and a "Do not separate from handler" patch

Well, the last two days were very unproductive for me- I‘m still in a slump, but hoping to get out of this slowly as I need to start studying properly soon. Yesterday I tried to write some flashcards for cell biology, rather unsuccessfully. I can however strongly reccomend the series „Midnight Mass“ on Netflix! It’s been long since I‘ve seen such a good story.

I have very broad interests, and when looking for a major, I eventually decided on biology mainly because of how broad the field is. It‘s why I‘m also still looking to possibly go into another field as well.
