Random thought I had today: Could Kamelot's The Shadow Theory be seen as somewhat of a prequel to Haven? Obviously, it was never meant to be, and the two albums are not concept ones, they do not have a complete story; but they explore almost the same themes. Also, I feel that their main "characters"/narrators could exist in the same world - one where the wasteland monarchy that is mentioned in Haven is actually called The Shadow Empire (like it is said in the other album) and our narrators are both "asleep but wide awake" (Insomnia), "chosen ones" in a reality similar to what is shown in the Phantom Divine video. The difference would be that the hero from The Shadow Theory is not fully awake, compared to the one of Haven, and all the scenarios and realisations are a dream/hallucination of his - something I think Vespertine could imply (honestly, I never fully understood that song, but the whole theme of the companion/lover in it and Ravenlight, In Twilight Hours, Kevlar Skin and Static feels vague enough). With all parallels though, in the end, he can't still win his battle, his total "awakening" doesn't happen, there's no revolution, which causes his pain and desperation - The Proud and the Broken. Whether there's still hope for him, we don't know, but his struggles are very similar to the ones of Haven's hero to me. In the end, of course, all these concepts remain pure metaphors, as there isn't an actual story/clearly stated connection between the songs. They describe a series of (psychological) experiences, not events, if that makes sense.

Ravenlight - A wise and gentle cat. Ravenlight is highly respected in their clan, they always seem to know what to do but they aren’t pushy about doing it. No one has ever seen Ravenlight lose their temper or panic , Ravenlight tries their best to stay calm at all times, knowing that their clanmates look up to them and if they lose their cool it could mess things up for several cats, 14/10

Crowhop - A skilled and confident cat. Climbing and jumping is Crowhop’s forte. They will often be found by a certain tree, clawing the bar a little at the height of their jump, trying to beat their previous record for how high they jumped. Crowhop won’t back down from a fight they think they can win, which is most fights, 14/10

Pigeonspring - A cheerful and energetic cat. Pigeonspring wants to enjoy life to the fullest, they will often be found racing through the territory with their friends while not on duty. Magpiewish - A curious and intelligent cat. Magpiewish is attracted to anything unknown, they approach things without fear, their curiosity overwhelms them, but they are smart enough to know to do it with caution and they always check their surrounding carefully before investigating anything. 3. I've thought about this a lot, I'd have something uplifting (even kinda cheesy), top choices are "The world I see bares a mystery, waiting to be revealed / And don't you know that every cloud has a silver lining?" (Kamelot - Under Grey Skies) and "The meaning of life is to give life meaning" (Ayreon - The Sixth Extinction).

10. As a child, I was absolutely obsessed with Alter Bridge. Still love them.

19. Greatest love song, oh my... I usually just say that I'm not a big fan of those (hence why I'd hate to admit to many of my friends that I like the extremely cheesy Not Strong Enough by Apocalyptica). However, I'm not immune to the "subtle" approach, especially by my favourite artists, so I have some dear songs in this area, too. Definitely Ayreon's Day Eleven, I especially adore the idea that there isn't any need for grand declarations, cause while our protagonist is "thunderstruck, nailed to the floor" with awe, it's made clear that at the same time "her heart sings" with his - simple and clear. Not to mention that its impact is elevated when in the context of the album. And I can't go without mentioning Kamelot - honestly the band that made me grow a stronger appreciation for love songs. Usually with tragic elements (ahem... Wander). Or subtle references (the combo of Under Grey Skies and Beautiful Apocalypse in Haven). I find that Tommy's approach to writing those also fits my preferred style almost perfectly. Source: Ravenlight (confirmed in interviews to be explicitly written by him) and Midsummer's Eve ("I love the way you sing to me" & "As the autumn bids us farewell / I'll sing you our song / The same old heartfelt words, just one last time" - I see a lovestruck boy, and it's adorable). Also, some Seventh Wonder songs. And Ad Infinitum's See You In Hell, if it counts. But that's more than enough. 😅
