literally half the ships i’ve liked in past fandoms have been enemies/rivals to lovers. naegami in danganronpa. oumasai, again in danganronpa. kate and anthony in bridgerton. THE TENSION IS SOOO GOOD????? but i will say i only like the ship and fics with it if they’re moreso Rivals than full on enemies. like banter and arguments etc instead of them like actually beating each other up or smth. the ones i mentioned, particularly the dr ones, have such opposing views and That’s what makes fics of them so satisfying to read imo

if you are in the EAH fandom, you know that our shipping names are NOT STANDARDIZED. like, no one can agree on ANYTHING, at ANY point in time. our hope is that we can create an easy catalog to reference for any ship name, at any point in time. we are going to do a series of polls, and if YOU want to ask the fandom about what they think your rarepair’s ship name should be, just submit an ask and we’ll hop on it! in the meantime, we’re going to be setting up polls for both the most popular and the most obscure, and I hope this is at least of some use to someone.

Omg thank you for thinking of me that's so sweet of you!! That actually made me smile so thank you again! I'm totally down to take a stab at one of the theories (my response will be multiask). Both are very fascinating and clever, especially the Destiny Magic Theory (very well thought out @/ravensraven!!). Honestly, I think destroying the SBoL... 𝘥𝘪𝘥𝘯'𝘵 affect the Narrators and their jobs too much. In fact, without the Narrators, the stories, both new and old... 1/?- Narrator Headcanon Anon

The way you mentioned that characters can now rewrite their own stories in any shape or form made me think of Cerise thinking up Ramona in the Ramona theory; it's so intriguing that if characters can just change the world around them if they have strong enough emotions, without even being aware of it, with only the created character, the narrators, and certain Wonderlandians being aware; it opens a whole different box of reality-based questions, which is fair, I guess, since reality has been altered after all.

"A first-person story" is such an interesting and perfect way to word this new reality. Puts into perspective (lol, a pun) that the world of Ever After where characters are expected to follow pre-written paths with no regards to their feelings and emotions, and after signing succumb to Destiny Magic which might affect their brains and personality, like Raven turning evil, really is a third-person or an outsider's view, aka someone who doesn't think of them as human beings who have their own wants, desires etc.

Being in third-person proved they didn't have agency over themselves or their destinies. The closest to having free will in this land were the Narrators who were not bound by the Storybook. But while the narrators could control space and time, even they couldn't control characters' emotions.

I think you're right that the Narrators haven't lost their jobs, just have to narrate differently, they now have to dig deep and narrate the person's POV instead of zooming out and narrating a story where these characters just played parts in. If anything, there are now more Narrator jobs available lol. Unless, like you said, the characters are now the narrators themselves.

Well, only some Wonderlandians are even aware of the Narrators so I don't think other characters would ever find out about this race of people that used to have control over their space/time. As for what would happen to these replaced narrators, I have no idea, maybe their world doesn't revolve around narration and they just get another job lol.

I don't think they're breaking the fourth wall as much as breaking the third wall, since characters are now finally seeing themselves as three-dimensional beings and not just parts of a story.

standardizing ever after high ship names

here is the post explaining both the situation and the event that @ravensraven and I (@royalrebelpropaganda) are trying to do, which is basically create one usable fandom-voted-on ship name for each potential pairing.
