I can hardly contain my excitement! I just finished On Thin Ice, and let me tell you, the ending was 🥰🥰🥰! Dominic and our MC finally got their happily ever after, and it was so romantic! He even rented out the entire rink just to give her a ring! He's also going to learn how to do figure skating!

I think my type is funny/party/asshole guys from whom you only expect entertainment and in the end it turns out that they have more depth than the others and you just sit in love. They live in my head rent-free.

Regretfully I didn't take any screenshots, but...

OTI ending with Dominic was actually super sweet??? I giggled! I blushed! I did not imagine this when I started this book. What a journey!! I absolutely love Dominic, what a great LI. My ending was imo perfect, I had the balanced path and I chose the light endings, MC won the gold, Brian took over the club, and MC ended up at university and giving up any ties to the club other than of course her relationship with Dominic who is the assistant of Brian. I loved it. Dominic helps her with her studies, he promises to take her to meet his family, he tells her he loves her, it's all super super cute. He goes ice skating with her and he's completely incapable of it, so adorable. And MC is finally able to live life!

MORE THEORIES ON ON THIN ICE'S ENDINGS

Dominic

He decides to travel to Seattle with Catherine to visit his sister Trixie. His parents are traveling the states, but he gives them a brief message saying hello.

Trixie comes running out and greets her older brother. Catherine is surprised she's so excited he's home because she thought he wasn't as close with his family.

Trixie is estatic to meet her, and she answers any questions after they settle in for the visit. Depending on the question asked, she'll say that her parents are not keen on the way Dominic lives his life, however she doesn't see it that way because he is doing well for himself and that's all she asks for him to be happy and healthy.

The couple finds out that his parents have always cashed the money Dominic sends every month, as a part of them still love him despite his life choices. Trixie assures him that things will be better in time, but for now, he need to give them space so they can figure out how to reconcile with him.

The story ends with Dominic and Catherine in the living room alone, sitting in front of the fireplace. Catherine mentions that she loves his sister, and is quite hopeful she will meet his parents one day.

Dominic mentions it will be quite some time, but he can wait as long as it takes because she is the only thing he needs in this moment.

just finished OTI during the last diamond rush and OHMYGODD I was not expecting Dom. I didn't look up any spoilers and was just playing not really interested in anyone until he popped up. surprised reading the tags now that it's semi difficult to lock in his route but I lucked out and got it first try with no walk through (I think bc I didn't use diamonds at all really in the first season but idk)

also I may look exactly like Emma from Q30D but GOD LORD do I act like Catherine. seriously surprised I didn't get into this series sooner
