saw ur post abt doing requests again sorry ur feeling down but i was curious to hear if u have any headcanons abt whether or not Randy has a healing factor or if he just abides by regular cartoon logic :P

This is actually a really good question and I'm going to hopefully cover the full bases with this! So on one thing, I don't feel he abides solely on cartoon logic. The way I've always seen it: the suit does have failsafes to protect the Ninja. This does mean there's a healing factor taking place while the wearer is in the suit. Mostly, what it does is speed up the healing process!

Unfortunately, this does not come without setbacks. I do firmly believe the Ninja might still come out with scars; the suit just prevents them from dying or bleeding out. Since the suit itself is, of course, magic and infused with some level of healing properties.

In Randy's case, he 100% does have scars. Essentially, the wounds close up to a certain point and depending on how deep they go, it might place the injured party into a sort of stasis/sleep before they can move again. It won't last for too long, anywhere between a few hours to even 48 hours (2 days), but normally it wouldn't last for that long.

I don't think I have anything else to add, but I figured why not the full scope of my thoughts. Of course, the suit can't do anything if its current owner is injured outside of the suit, and the healing factor won't fully come into play. If I can think of anything else, I'll let you know! Enjoy~

Hello rc9gn #1 fan, I have a question!

Back in like 2014-ish there was a PMV a fan drew, but it seems to have disappeared. It was very emotional and set to a song called something like "Angel". I was hoping you may have come across it in your internet travels for rc9gn stuff

I feel like the tengu encounter should have happened a little later due to 1 fact: costume change excuse

When I first watched rc9gn I saw the mask burning scene and I fully thought it was a excuse to change the ninja suits design and I got confused cause it was super early for something like this to happen.

Like in Danny Phantom when they undid Danny's "ghost-ification" so they could add the logo to his suit, I thought they were doing that.

And like- Imagine Randy's suit gets like fire or wings patterns on his back or maybe his scarf becomes more fire like, sick af.

Oh goodness, if I had to pick one specific time- it would be from strings_basement and I can't entirely narrow it down to a single comment, but their long rambles and support across my RC9GN fics have been something which kept me writing. Though one which I think stands out is from my fic i'd walk into the fire for you (even if i came back wrong). It was the first comment I ever received from them and it still holds a very special place in my heart!

Mario was the first fandom I was ever in, and I made "evil" Peach and Daisy characters, Plum and Rose. So Mario has always had a special place in my heart, and influences my style greatly.

Funny story: I joined Deviantart when I was 13, because I found Mario fan comics I wanted to read. This lead to me actually meeting my boyfriend, @sealingstars . Reading Mario fan fiction will get you a boyfriend, guaranteed.

Outside of that, my biggest inspirations for art come from RC9GN, SU, TOH, and TGAMM. Particularly on how to animate with more cartoony proportions that I'm trying to replicate with my own cartoon. Also all three of these have great shape language and body diversity to take inspiration from. TOH and SU are more anatomical, which is how I naturally draw, and I like seeing how they go about it.

I’m not really sure either, but I did find some old fanart and a fan comic crossover so there was some thought put into it. I didn’t read that far into the comic though.

Even if there was a crossover, I’m not really sure how well the characters would mesh together. Leo wouldn’t really like Randy’s general lack of common sense and preferring to charge into a battle head-first before thinking of a battle strategy. Raph would just get frustrated with Randy’s constant need to crack jokes and one-liners. Donnie would just get annoyed with Randy not stop talking or asking him about his gadgets. Randy and Mikey would get along to some extent.

I honestly just feel like RC9GN and Rise mesh better as they have a lot of similar core elements to the series.

Headcanon I have since im sick of Howard losing his powers of the tengu fuck it let him keep it and now made him part/half tengu who has hands that ruffle into feathers occasionally because my god Howard needs to do something other than not help randy and be knocked back by villains

I will only accept this if he acts like Anne Amphibia in that one episode where she turns into a bird furry
