MAKATI, MANILA -- In a surprising turn of fintech events, InstaPay Philippines and BancNet have recently undergone emergency maintenance last Saturday (August 19th, 2023) due to issues regarding transactions related to cash-in, cash-out, E-Wallet transfers and physical or digital bank transfers. This unexpected situation has caused major inconvenience for individuals and businesses relying on these services, leaving them frustrated and concerned about the security of their transactions.
InstaPay Philippines, a real-time electronic fund transfer service, offers a convenient way for customers to transfer money instantly between participating banks and electronic-wallet providers such as Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC), UnionBank of the Philippines (UBP), GoTyme Bank, GCash and Maya. 8th Pin
RCBC Plaza
When all hell broke loose with Kenth Charles on the 26th of December 2023, and I posted a 💔 note on my instagram, one person was quick to react and ask me how I was.
It was John.
He kept checking up on me in the days that followed. At the start of the New Year, he wanted to watch a musical with me and he wanted me to check anything that’s available for January. It was going to be his birthday gift for me.
Unfortunately, we didn’t get to watch any that month. But we did manage to see each other a couple of times.
And then life happened. We stopped seeing each other for a while, and we also stopped sending messages. We didn’t talk again until the latter half of April 2024. By then, several musicals were already ongoing, but I suggested we watch 9 Works Theatrical’s local production of Rent, which was being performed at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium at the RCBC Plaza. Beyond my sentimental affection for the song “Seasons of Love,” the musical’s themes around HIV/AIDS awareness are causes I hold close to my heart. These are also why when Seandale and I were still together, I expressed interest that we watch it together—but shit happened.
And so, there we were. After months of not seeing each other—and dealing with life’s twists—I got to spend time with John again.
The musical was... how do I even describe it? Mesmerizing. Impactful. I cried at least twice during the show. I don’t know if John noticed, but honestly, I didn’t care.
We had dinner at Denny’s after, and we... talked.
Then we kissed each other goodbye.
That was the last time I saw him.

Hahaha.
Parang gusto kong itry 'yung 8680 Coffee, may 50% discount pag umaga. 🤭 Kaso cash only.* Iyak.
*May promo ang RCBC ngayon, zero fees ulit ang unlipay. Senyales na ba 'to? Gamitin ko na?

Metro Manila Unites for Change: Icons of Change Awards 2025 and SDG Action Summit Spotlight Leadership, Innovation, and Collective Impact
Las Piñas City, Philippines – April 27, 2025 – A powerful convergence of leaders, innovators, and changemakers took place at Southville International School and Colleges as the Icons of Change Awards Metro Manila 2025, and the Metro Manila SDG Action Summit honored individuals and institutions driving real, lasting change across the nation and beyond.
The event, aligned with the United Nations’ declarations of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust brought together a diverse coalition of stakeholders under one shared mission: to accelerate progress on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through leadership, collaboration, and innovation.
A Celebration of Transformative Leadership
The Icons of Change Awards is not just a recognition program—it is a growing movement that places a spotlight on individuals, organizations, and institutions who are trailblazing solutions in public service, education, media, business, sustainability, health, and advocacy. Most importantly, it highlights unsung heroes—those whose impactful work often happens away from the limelight but creates deep ripple effects in their communities.
From those tackling poverty and food insecurity to innovators advancing quality education, gender equality, responsible consumption, and climate action, the 2025 awardees represented the full spectrum of the 17 SDGs.
A Platform for Action: SDG Summit Highlights
Running alongside the awards ceremony was the Metro Manila SDG Action Summit 2025, an open platform for dialogue and shared action. Distinguished speakers from the public and private sectors shared insights on how their work contributes to nation-building and sustainable development:
Dr. Gwen Pang, Secretary-General of the Philippine Red Cross, emphasized the integration of humanitarian response and SDG alignment.
Rosemarie Rafael, Chairwoman of the Women’s Business Council Philippines and Commissioner on Labor at the Philippine Commission on Women, underscored women-led leadership in driving inclusive economic growth.
Lito Villanueva, EVP and Chief Innovation & Inclusion Officer of RCBC, discussed the role of inclusive digital finance in SDG acceleration.
Theo Panga, Director General of PEZA, spoke about sustainable economic zones contributing to resilient urban development (SDG 11).
CJ Andaluz, filmmaker and cultural advocate, and
Timmy Cruz, actress and environmentalist, reminded attendees of the vital role of creative storytelling in mobilizing public consciousness.
Other prominent voices included Usec. Franz Imperial (RTVM), Usec. Gerald Divinagracia (ARTA), Lynn Pinugu (She Talks Asia), Sally Magat (Development Bank of the Philippines), and media leaders from ABS-CBN, PTV, The Manila Times, NewsWatchPlus, and Pulis News Network.
Media as a Force for Good
A significant highlight of the ceremony was the recognition of ABS-CBN and veteran political correspondent RG Cruz, who received the Champion in Media, Community Connection, and Global Connection award and the Excellence in Political Correspondence award respectively. Their work exemplified journalism's essential role in promoting transparency, accountability, and truth.
A Commitment Signed and Sealed
In a powerful moment of unity, guests, awardees, and partners took part in the Sustainability Pledge Commitment Tarp Signing, a symbolic pledge to continue advancing the SDGs through their respective platforms. This act underscored the event’s mantra: Icons of Change is not the end—it’s the beginning of deeper, bolder impact.
Grounded in Community, Elevated by Purpose
The event was made possible through the collaboration of partners such as Southville International School and Colleges, AsiaPrime Philippines Corporation, the World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA), and a committed team of organizers and volunteers. Chairperson Justin Ho Guo Shun reflected on the event’s success: "Icons of Change is a reminder that the SDGs aren’t reserved for policymakers or global summits—they live in classrooms, barangays, mediarooms, and boardrooms. The changemakers we honored today prove that with enough courage, collaboration, and conviction, transformation is not only possible—it’s already happening."
Moving Forward Together
As the event concluded, one message echoed clearly: change is not confined to a single moment or ceremony—it is a shared, ongoing responsibility. The Icons of Change Awards Metro Manila 2025 served as both recognition and rallying cry for collective action toward a just, inclusive, and sustainable Philippines.

January 28, 2025: These dates, all employees and staff of FBBD attending in business altar it's like bible study connecting to our god and being grateful to his blessings everyday. One of the pastors gave a little short story about what God gave to his blessings she said that it's important to have a list of wishes and prayers also when you write the list always to me specific and take an action on your wishes. One thing I remember from his story is having spiritually stable. When you feel depressed but you are financially stable it's a sign of lack spirituality. Sometimes we forget our faith to our god That's why we feel lack of purpose and hopelessness, I believe that this FBBD company changes my perspective in life not only mentally but also spiritually and also I believe in god all this plan for me I feel comfort with people who connected or religious people. My tasks are transactions in BDO and creating labels in construction supplies.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
January 29 2025: I'm going to a transaction in different banks the first bank I deposit is RCBC bank and the next transaction is BDO. This is my second transaction sometimes I make a mistake in doing a transaction but it's given me a new lesson. It's okay to make a mistake, without a mistake it means I didn't try. So as an intern I still do and learn every transaction in different banks and staff of the banks It helps me how to talk and socialize in professional persons.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
January 31 2025: Last day of January I'm so thankful for the lesson in this month of January this my three lesson of the month first lesson is be present to things in front of you, don't be always thinking the future or the past or truma, the past gave us a lesson and future is a mystery to us no one can predict it. Second lesson is god always protect us every single day that's why we need to pray always.Lastly my lesson is to always do our best every day do our task or obligation to make ourselves better.

February 1, 25: First day of February new opportunity my tasks these days are organizing the blue print and seal on it. Different plans and blue print I organized before approved by my advisor.

Ano kaya 'yon? 'Yung una kong kausap, hindi ako maintindihan, at trinansfer back ako sa queue dahil ayaw na niya akong kausap. 'Yung pangalawa, ang yabang, tapos hindi nagsend ng survey. Gaslight nya pa ako na wala silang gano'ng promo, eme eme. Tawag na lang daw ako pag zero na balance sa card. I think na ganu'n nga gagawin ko by March 2026.
'Yung last, inalukan ako ng cash loan, 0.85% p.m. or ₱60,000 spend within 60 days. Oh well.
