speak now- headcannons (request a vault track to make it spicy)
.......i wanna be billy's secret little gf so bad... just sneaking around with him... fucking in like broom closets and shit.... oh, and he deserves it to be a vault track, i mean, duh. the hoe deserves it.
I got another request for billy's version of "I can see you" and that's exactly what this headcannon is giving me so let's get slutty
as a reminder, from the vault means it's spicy! (minors dni)
headcannon below the cut
i can see you (billy's version) (from the vault)*
Tumblr media
let's just say for funsies you're billy's personal assistant
and not to diminish your talent, you're damn good at what you do, and billy hired you bc he found you extremely impressive and felt like you could keep up with him and his busy schedule, and not be daunted by the work he would demand of you (he's a high maintenance diva and we all know it)
but, that doesn't mean that billy didn't find you attractive from the very first interview (it was i wanna fuck at first sight)
and i'm not saying he purposefully curated a plan to make sure the two of you spend as much alone time as possible together (a lot of late nights you feel me) but he definitely did
billy is a charming fucker and he knows it, but he's also smart, and he never says or does anything blatantly inappropriate, but he doesn't hide how he truly feels about you either
and as much as you try to fight it, one night after attending a gala together (bc a good personal assistant has to fill him in on everyone that's important in attendance) and several glasses of champagne (billy's fault) somehow he ends up in your bed after innocently trying to drop you off at the end of the night
neither one of you can deny your chemistry any longer after that, but you don't want people thinking you fucked your way to the top (alexa play lana del rey) and billy doesn't want to impede your impeccable reputation so the two of you agree to keep things strictly professional at work while there's people around
but the second his office door shuts and there's a good fifteen minutes before his next meeting, billy's got you spread out over his desk like a full course meal and he's devouring your pussy like a man starved
sometimes when you're feeling bratty, you'll hide under billy's desk and take his cock in your mouth, purposefully being a tease to see how long he can keep his composure while someone tries to give him the breakdown of a report he asked for
but billy is nothing if not vengeful, and even though there's a blissed out look on his face when he finally empties himself down your throat, there's a twinkle of danger in his deep eyes that lets you know you're in for it, and that's enough to make your pussy flutter with excitement
and that's how billy ends up slipping his hand up your skirt in a crowded elevator, toying with your clit meticulously while six men stand in front of the two of you discussing a topic you could care fucking less about bc god his fingers feel so good
but bc you were a brat and teased him, billy is doubling down on payback, and he fingers you enough to get you close to free-falling into the abyss of pleasure, but doesn't let you come
and the cheeky fucker licks his fingers clean as he exits the elevator, flashing you a warning look that lets you know if you come without his permission it'll be the last time you come until he thinks you've earned it, and then grins wickedly at you
"see you tonight for dinner, doll."
billy gets off on the thrill of it all as much as you do so he's fucking you everywhere
over his desk, in a supply closet, in several conference rooms, in the backseat of his rolls royce, in the training facility, anywhere he can get you alone for a few minutes
oh and let's not forget billy is jealous and possessive, so anyone that hits on you automatically gets fired, but he saves face by making up excuses about them not performing well enough in the role bc he can't tell anyone the truth
in conclusion, you are re-awakening my thirst for this man

WWE Is F*cking Up Bayley’s Revival
WWE is tiptoeing around the fact the only heel worth a damn in the women’s division is Charlotte Flair — maybe Carmella. Since Ronda Rousey is no longer in the company the women’s division is a complete afterthought. Bayley was moved from Raw to revive her character after two-years of bad booking. Ironically, the women’s division has been given more screen time on Raw than Smackdown. Leading up to Summerslam Raw presented a 20-minute four-way elimination match between Natalya, Naomi, Alexa Bliss, and Carmella for the right to challenge Becky Lynch.
Natalya and Lynch arguably was the best feud WWE put together for Summerslam and the two put on a show as the opener. An edge was given to Natalya, and Becky returned to her “baby face with heel tendencies” character fans have not seen for a couple of months.
The tag titles have been more present on Raw, changing hands between The Iiconics to the team of the aforementioned Bliss and her friend Nikki Cross.
After Bayley dispatched of Bliss she turned her attention to the young tweener Ember Moon offering her a title shot. Moon is supremely talented, but isn’t ready to carry the belt as her character isn’t developed beyond her presentation as a “she-wolf.” Moon’s history in the WWE is as a baby face. Creative could have taken liberties and given her an edge. In the little time creative focused on building the match it seemed they were doing just that. Moon ambushed Bayley after “The Hugger” provided a distraction for Moon to achieve a pinfall on Flair. The next week, Bayley got her heat back by performing her finisher “Bayley-to-Belly” after losing a tag match against Bliss & Cross.
Okay, this is fine. Nice to establish a little back and forth. Nobody has officially turned to the Dark Side here. Just tempers running high in the lead-up to a title match. The week after, Natalya and Moon go to a double-count-out. Natalya refuses to let go of the sharpshooter and Bayley makes the save. The two just stand there awkwardly as Smackdown cuts to commercial. This is unacceptable. Either of these two things should have happened instead.
1. Moon slaps Bayley and tells her she doesn’t want or need her help.
2. Bayley doesn’t run out to help Moon. She just stands there and watches as her opponent gets her comeuppance and is softened up for her.
Notice how I added a heel tendency to both of the characters. That’s because babyface vs babyface matches are difficult to book unless you’re Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior.
So what’s next for our champion? The next PPV is in Charlotte, North Carolina. The obvious answer is to position Flair in the title picture. It makes sense too. Flair lost her title a mere seconds after winning it at MITB when Bayley cashed-in on her. Only reason Flair immediately didn’t get a rematch is because Bliss beat her for number one contender status.
Bayley on Twitter asked if NXT star Candice LeRae wants to wrestle her at the PPV. For those unaware, LeRae is a damn fine wrestler. She and Io Shirai put on a show at NXT Takeover: Toronto. Problem is, LeRae is a baby face and her character presentation as your lovable big sister who can kick ass is a corner currently occupied by Bayley. You can still book the match, but it’ll require time and dedication creative hasn’t shown a willingness to do. I am afraid LeRae is set up for failure no matter how hard she’ll try to prevent it. The match between Moon and Bayley was far from poultry. The apathetic response from the crowd is what you get when fans don’t know who to root for and you haven’t even tried to help clear the confusion.
So what can you do with champion Bayley? Firstly, you have to book her with strong heels. Flair and Carmella need to re-enter the title picture. They are already established and don’t need time dedicated to developing their characters. If creative suddenly starts caring about the women’s division on Smackdown, they can go with LeRae and give another up and comer the needed exposure.
At the end of the day, no matter how much I have come to admire the dedication and work Bayley puts into her craft there isn’t a scenario where she carries the women’s division. While she desperately needs this title reign she needs to be booked to look strong and conquer the heels who derailed her first run as champion. If WWE isn’t willing to do that then we’re merely counting the seconds until Flair decides it’s high time she takes the blue belt off of Bayley.

Thoughts on RAW
That was the best episode in a while. The Roman news definitely propelled it high but I feel like it would have still been a solid show.
1. Roman is in remission. The most important takeaway from last night’s show. I’ve seen it reported that it was his decision to come back this soon so I’m okay with that. I just hope they don’t push him into action his body isn’t ready for.  If it still needs to be a while before he’s ready to work solo matches, then take your time. We’ll still be here.
2. It does worry me that Vince might decide to do something stupid like derail Seth and not have him win the UC at Mania so Roman can take it off Brock when he’s ready. A) pushing Roman right back into the UC scene will make fans turn on him again and B) it shows everyone that Vince hasn’t changed at all when he promised new opportunities and matches. They could end up pushing even more people out the door for somewhere where their hard work is recognized.
3. I’m still in disbelief that in just a few weeks they’ve made me go from wanting Lio Rush to shut up to wanting people to stop yelling at him.
4. The whole Becky/Ronda/Charlotte story line has become such a mess. Becky coming out during Ronda’s match instead of Ric’s celebration was a nice twist, especially for reasons later revealed, but now she’s attacked innocent Nattie. Steph is right when she says Becky has no one to blame but herself and Ronda advocating for Becky to be re-added is a cheap ploy to get her cheers. Then basically saying if she doesn’t get her way, the belt means nothing, and walking away.
5. The Alexa/Finn stuff was cute. Finally a Moment of Bliss segment I didn’t mind.
6. The Dean/Drew match was decent but the aftermath was great story telling. Elias showing up to get payback from earlier, Corbin and Lashley again teaming up with Drew, and Roman and Seth coming out to make the save but not showing they immediately forgive Dean for all the shit he’s done in the past few months. No matter what Dean’s excuses are for all the shit he’s done, he still needs to earn forgiveness.
7. Ric’s birthday celebration was a lot quicker than I thought it would be. Obviously now we know why but I was wondering if we would go overtime since there was like 5 minutes left and still no Ric. Watching all the legends come out and interact with the current Superstars was cute.
8. Batista! “Do I have your attention now Hunter?” could be a line we all look back on as the start of an epic feud. Papa H is gonna be so mad that Batista beat up Ric. And it was a great swerve.

WWE Mixed Match Challenge Tournament | 20th March 2018 The Miz & Asuka def. Braun Strowman & Alexa Bliss; Finn Bálor & Sasha Banks won the Second Chance Fan Vote “Team Little Big” will not be going all the way, at least not in WWE Mixed Match Challenge. Intercontinental Champion The Miz & Asuka took down the disproportionate duo of Braun Strowman & Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss in WWE MMC’s first Semifinal Match, live on Facebook Watch. The outcome dashes Strowman & Bliss’ hopes of taking home the WWE MMC crown and extends The Empress of Tomorrow’s historic win streak. That last bit — protecting Asuka’s unblemished record and technically “Awe-ska’s” too — was top of mind for the Japanese Superstar. She reminded Miz of the precipitously high stakes heading into the contest.Though The Awesome One pledged to carry his weight, he didn’t seem eager to do so at the outset. The Miz avoided tussling with The Monster Among Men at all costs, repeatedly tagging in Asuka. Only, each time the Intercontinental Champion brought his partner into the action, Little Miss Bliss — seemingly as disinclined to tangle with Asuka as Miz was to take on Strowman — tagged in her massive partner.
Finally, Strowman broke the trend by nearly caving in Miz’s chest with a gigantic dropkick. The towering titan brutalized The Miz with a pounding punch and went for the pin, only to have Asuka courageously save her teammate (and her own streak). The Empress of Tomorrow re-entered the action, and a fed-up Miz began to talk a hike, only to be blocked by Strowman at the base of the ramp. At that same moment, Asuka hip-checked Bliss off the ring apron. Bliss landed in Strowman’s waiting, oversized arms and, for a moment, it appeared that “Team Little Big’s” flirtation was about to give way to something more meaningful, like a kiss — that is, until both Superstars refocused on the matter at hand, trying to win the match. Strowman reentered the ring moments later to thrash Miz, eventually sending The Awesome One tumbling to the floor. The respite gave Bliss and Strowman a chance to rekindle their perhaps-budding romance. She tugged him in close by the beard and their lips nearly touched, but then The Miz attacked Strowman from behind, infuriating the giant. The Miz tried to run, and Strowman gave chase. Though The Awesome One managed to squeak out a tag to Asuka, he wasn’t so lucky in avoiding Strowman: The Monster Among Men not only caught up to Miz, but he bulldozed him through the ringside barricade! As both men lay amid the debris, Alexa and Asuka continued battling inside the ring. Little Miss Bliss threatened to end Asuka’s streak with back-to-back near falls, coming as close as anybody to scoring a victory over the dominant Superstar. Alexa then set up Asuka for a DDT, but The Empress of Tomorrow slyly reversed it into the excruciating Asuka Lock, quickly forcing Bliss to tap out. In claiming the winning fall against The Goddess of WWE, Asuka not only ensured that her undefeated streak remains intact, but she also scored some measure of retribution against the Raw Women’s Champion, who had opted to take a Count-out loss against The Empress of Tomorrow just 24 hours earlier on Raw. “Awe-ska,” who are competing for the Rescue Dogs Rock charity, now look ahead to the WWE MMC Final, where they will face the winners of next week’s Semifinal Match.Speaking of which, Miz & Asuka’s huge victory wasn’t the end of big news for the night. It was also revealed that Finn Bálor & Sasha Banks, who were eliminated by “Awe-ska” in the Second Round of WWE MMC, won the Second Chance Fan Vote, taking 40 percent of the vote. As a result, “The Boss Club” will be reinserted into WWE’s groundbreaking mixed tag team tournament just in time for a Semifinal showdown against Bobby Roode & SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair. Can The Boss Club make the most of their second chance, or will The Robe Warriors continue to strut in glorious fashion toward the WWE MMC Final? Find out next Tuesday when WWE MMC streams live on Facebook Watch!

Alexa Bliss calling herself a goddess, both her and Bray Wyatt coming from a huge loss at Summerslam, where is my Sister Abigail storyline, now is *the* time WWE.
I wouldn’t want Alexa being Sister Abigail in a literal sense either but like - Bray isn’t doing anything, he keeps loosing, he NEEDS this, he NEEDS Sister Abigail so he just like, sees Alexa and believes she IS Sister Abigail re-incarnated, coming back from the dead to save him or whatever, and Alexa, being fucking SMART as she is, uses that and uses Bray - and eventually, the whole Wyatt family to get like ALL the Championships. All of them.
Also like... imagine this tiny woman controlling the entire Wyatt family. I need this. Also the Wrestlemania entrance???!
Booked right, this could be SO GOOD. So good.

Extreme Rules 2018: 5 reason to watch WWE's July PPV
Tumblr media
Extreme Rules! It’s... well, it’s not as “extreme” as it used to be. It’s kind of weird they have a pay-per-view with the gimmick of “the matches are extreme!” when they don’t bother making all of them have extreme rules of some kind, but maybe that’s also an overkill for the match type, so maybe just don’t do the gimmick pay-per-view at all and build stories that lead to needing an “extreme” rule set for individual matches throughout the year? Just a thought!
Anyway, I don’t mean to make it sound like you shouldn’t watch WWE’s upcoming network special, because there are at least five things worth watching on it. And that’s this preview’s gimmick. It’s convenient how said preview gimmick works out so the only time I need to write about Roman Reigns vs. Bobby Lashley is right here, where I tell you I will not be listing their match as a reason to watch Extreme Rules 2018, yeah?
Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. Seth Rollins in an Iron Man Match for the Intercontinental Title hell yeah
Dolph Ziggler taking some time off and coming back as an actual heel who is a talented dirtbag with a big muscular buddy who helps him bully the rest of the roster is the first time I’ve felt anything but loathing for the character in ages. What I feel is an intense desire to see him lose, which means this character tweak is working, and the fact he now gets to wrestle Seth Rollins, currently The Best Wrestler in WWE, in a 30-minute Iron Man for the championship belt that’s been treated the best on the show for some time now is the good shit.
There are 30-minute Iron Man matches that are slow and plodding and only needed to be regular 10-15-minute matches with the one fall. Here, though, with two wrestlers who can go, with Seth at the peak of his powers, vying for a title that matters, with Drew McIntyre around to make Seth’s life harder? This could be a main event — it won’t be, but it could be.
Ronda Rousey is suspended but is definitely going to show up to murder Alexa Bliss
Nia Jax gets her rematch against Alexa Bliss in an Extreme Rules match at Extreme Rules, after Bliss interfered in last month’s Jax vs. Ronda Rousey championship bout and then cashed in the Money in the Bank briefcase on Nia to become RAW Women’s Champion, again. Ronda Rousey beat the heck out of Alexa the next night on RAW, which led to a 30-day suspension, which means Alexa is still alive for this match on Sunday.
The thing is, since it’s a match with no disqualification, the suspended Ronda can show up and cost Bliss the title like Alexa very well might have done to Rousey at the Money in the Bank event. She can buy a ticket to the show, charge into the ring, snap Alexa’s arms off, and leave her laying in a heap for Jax to pin. That’ll get us Nia vs. Ronda II — the first of which ruled — and give Alexa a reason to keep being a terrible human being to everyone around her.
Hopefully, Jax also just beats Bliss into the ground, and Rousey is more there to make a save and keep Bliss from running off or doing something unspeakable to Nia so we don’t end up with a weird situation where Alexa is controlling a match against someone who could believably swing her around like a weapon to be used against other wrestlers. Really, though, so long as Alexa doesn’t leave as champ, whatever gets us to that point will probably be good.
Team Hell No fighting for a tag team championship
Team Hell No is back! Kane and Daniel Bryan, together again! They’ve been an entertaining part of SmackDown since they reunited, and it sure feels like the other shoe is going to drop and we’re going to get Kane vs. Daniel Bryan as Bryan’s next feud. Until then, though, whee, Team Hell No is a lot of fun!
And really, even if Kane does turn on Bryan, that’s kind of a good sign if you think about it. If WWE was super concerned about Bryan not re-signing, or not staying healthy, they’d be giving us the feud with Miz sooner than later. If they think there is time to fart around with another Kane feud, to go through the Bryan greatest hits on their way to the next huge Daniel Bryan moment in WWE, well, he’s not going anywhere for some time. At least, that’s the theory.
It’s that, or WWE doesn’t know where to focus their urgency and is line to waste what little of Bryan they have left before his contract is up because they have a problem with story telling. Oh, good, now I’m not sure how I feel about this again.
Let’s just go back to enjoying the part where Daniel Bryan is fighting for WWE gold again. The Bludgeon Brothers, who Bryan used to feud with when they were with the Wyatt family, will try to keep him from doing so.
Will Rusev become the WWE Champion?
Maybe I’m a total mark, but Rusev might actually become WWE Champion at Extreme Rules. He’s hugely popular on SmackDown. He’s someone I’ve long considered a lock to someday become WWE Champion, assuming WWE recognized just how good this dude is, anyway. Styles vs. Rusev should be great, just on paper, and if you throw in how Styles has had the championship forever and they didn’t give it to Shinsuke Nakamura, it feels like it’s time for him to lose it.
All of that being said... Rusev probably isn’t going to win, because we’d all find happiness if he won, and that’s against the rules. At least, it’s against the rules at Extreme Rules: Rusev winning feels like something that should go down at SummerSlam if it’s going to happen. You know, to hear just how loud Barclays can get.
Even if Rusev loses, this match should be good, and it should leave us wanting more Styles vs. Rusev, and I am here for more Styles vs. Rusev. I’m here for Rusev in general.
The fifth reason to watch is two half-reasons to watch combined into one
There’s a couple of things going on at Extreme Rules that I’m interested in, but I’m also honest enough to tell you that they are not necessarily a reason to watch on their own. Asuka vs. Carmella II could be good, if Asuka gets to just wreck Carmella this time, but we’ll probably once again have Carmella getting in too much offense, and James Ellsworth drop a weapon from the shark cage suspended above the ring to help Carmella retain, again.
If this all ends at SummerSlam with Asuka getting another shot and straight-up murking Carmella, well, maybe all of this will be worth it. We’ll see, though.

And last, we have Braun Strowman vs. Kevin Owens in a steel cage, and I’m actually kind of hype for this, but I’m also concerned they’re going to have Braun try to escape the cage to win instead of having him repeatedly deny Kevin Owens the same opportunity before pinning him clean in the middle. Give us a classic “the cage is to stop interference and block the exits” kind of cage match, not a “everyone focuses on running away because face/heel alignments don’t matter, none of this matters.” Please.

WILW: WWE PAYBACK 2017 - Predictions
So here we are with a rather strange PPV from WWE. You see after Wrestlemania, the WWE went through a #Superstarshakeup that moved some people around from Raw to Smackdown and vice-versa. Due to the shake up, PAYBACK will feature a couple of matches with Smackdown talent even though this show is being put on by the Raw brand. It's a bit weird to be sure and smacks of last minute booking decisions; never a good sign. That being said, there are a few standout matches on the card and hopefully the overall show will be good. Who will win and who will lose? Read on wrestling fans and find out.
Once upon a time Neville was one of the most over superstars on the roster. His finisher, the Red Arrow, got one of the biggest pops of the night every night. And then he got boring because WWE did nothing to move him forward. And then he got hurt. AND THEN he came back as a bad ass heel, the King of the Cruiserweights. (plus he had facial hair, so evil) Since his return he has been one of the highlights of the company. His heel work has been awesome and his match with Aries should honestly be the best match of the night. Aries also got hurt, albeit in NXT, and has been sitting on commentary for the last little bit. His return to in ring action has been welcome as he is one of the best wrestlers on the planet.
Prediction: Neville
Much like Neville, Bayley has been floundering a bit since her call up from NXT. She is still one of the most over women on the roster but her matches overall have been lackluster. She has gone from main-eventing an NXT show to being in less than five minute affairs every week. Her run as champ has been largely forgetful. Thankfully though Alexa Bliss is here to save us and inject life into a stayed division. Bliss has been a revelation since turning heel in NXT and getting the call up to the main roster. Her work on Smackdown was great and the move to Raw has done nothing to slow her down. She is the perfect heel. She does all of the little things right. And for a character like Bayley, chasing the title against a true heel is just a more interesting story.
Prediction: Alexa Bliss
So the Hardys are going to lose the belts here. I'm almost positive. The word 'round the campfire is that WWE has settled with TNA for the rights to the "Broken" gimmick that made Matt and Jeff Hardy the talk of the wrestling town over the last year plus. Since returning and winning the belts at Wrestlemania, the Hardys have been teasing the gimmick with Matt doing most of the work with his mannerisms in the ring. Coming back on such a high and losing the belts at the next big show is a good enough reason to have the Hardys get re-broken. And make no mistake, Broken Matt and Brother Nero are where the money is with these two. Sheamus and Cesaro make sense to take the belts and have a decent run with them.
Prediction: Sheamus and Cesaro
Another one I think is pretty easy to call, Owens is keeping the belt. The break up of JERI-KO was one of the best storylines from the past year. It did everything right and ended with a nice little payoff. This match does nothing but spin some wheels until Owens is ready to start his feuds on Smackdown. Him moving brands is one of the best things from the shakeup. Smackdown now has Owens, AJ Styles, Nakamura, and Sami Zayn on the same roster. That's incredible and an opportunity to have some truly all-time matches. There is no way that WWE will screw this up. They can't. Owens has to win to keep the belt on Smackdown since Dean Ambrose took the IC title with him to Raw. Plus, Jericho needs to go on tour with his band so there's that.
Prediction: Kevin Owens
Joe finally makes his PPV debut against the man he injured in his Raw debut. Thankfully, Seth Rollins was able to heal up enough to make his Wrestlemania match against Triple H and become the Kingslayer. There are so many ways they could go with this match. Having Rollins win makes sense as he exacts a measure of revenge. Having Joe win makes sense since looks wise he is one of the few credible threats to Brock Lesnar and the Universal title, minus the actual in ring wins. Regardless this should be a dope match. Both guys are insanely good and are capable of match of the night performances. Really all I want is a clean match with no shenanigans. I doubt that's what we'll get though.
Prediction: Seth Rollins
The second of the interbrand matches and one for the WWE Championship and it's not the main event. (as of this writing anyway) Randy Orton of Smackdown beat Bray at Wrestlemania for the belt. It was a stupid, boring move that still makes no sense and does nothing to help Bray Wyatt become what he should be in WWE. With him moving to Raw there are plenty of fresh feuds for him to have and hopefully some solid character direction. Orton on the other hand continues to be a placeholder at this stage in his career. There is almost nothing interesting left to do with him. I'm hoping against hope that he keeps the belt and drops it to someone like Sami Zayn or Baron Corbin. Truthfully, I have no idea what to think here.
Prediction: Randy Orton
The breaker of streaks and ender of careers Roman Reigns will make his return after the absolutely amazing beating he suffered at the hands of Braun Strowman a few weeks ago. WWE has done an amazing job in building up Braun as an absolute monster. They have seemingly done everything right with this guy and are probably about to royally shit the bed. There is absolutely no way Braun should lose this match to Reigns considering that storyline wise he put him in the hospital four weeks ago. (he even flipped the fucking ambulance he was in) It was such a great moment. And yet, WWE have shown that they are not willing to let the Reigns story play out organically. Reigns is one of the most hated men in wrestling period. Not haha hate, not jk we really love you but are supposed to boo you hate, but real, honest to goodness hate. He literally got booed for ten minutes the night after Wrestlemania on Raw. (he did just retire the Undertaker but still) He's not a heel, he's a villain. And that's awesome. WWE should have villains. But those villains need to lose to stay relevant. If he continues to win, to play the underdog babyface who doesn't know he's a heel, fans will simply stop caring. They will stop watching. Because it's boring and forced. But they will. They will fuck it up. I'm sure of it.
Prediction: Roman goddamn Reigns even though I hope I'm wrong
So there it is. It should be a good show. If nothing else, we should see the return of Broken Matt and that is nothing but a good thing. Make sure to follow me on twitter and instagram, @geekadedan, and let me know what you thought of PAYBACK. Check back next week for another edition of WILW Games. Until then...

SmackDown on Fox Episode #19 SmackDown Episode # 1,068 San Jose, CA – SAP Center 2/7/20 We open with a video hyping Goldberg’s return tonight on SmackDown and then we go to the intro video and the pyro opening. The Miz & John Morrison make their way to the ring to host the first episode of The Dirty Sheet in over ten years. Miz & Morrison introduced us to a short film they put together titled “Once Upon A Time on the Dirt Sheet” which was a spoof of the “Once Upon A Time in Hollywood” movie, the film featured cameos from Lance Storm, Johnny “Ace” Laurinaitis, & future Oscar nominee George “Mr. Miz” Mizanin. The movie was used to hype up their match with The New Day at Super Showdown. New Day come out and the two teams take shots at each other before Miz & Morrison state that they have beaten every team on SmackDown in order to become the #1 contenders. This brings out The Usos who remind Miz & Morrison that they have never beaten them and then they welcome Miz & Morrison to the Uso penitentiary. Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode come out and we get a brawl with all four teams as we go to commercial.
I thought the film part of this was really fun as it was something a bit different than we’re used to seeing. I thought the whole promo part after that was pretty meh, except for the fact that we had a bit of a bait and switch as it seemed like we were either going to get Usos vs Miz & Morrison or an 8 man tag, but no we have to get a pairing that we have seen face each other in some shape, form, or fashion over twenty times in the last couple of months.  Match #1: The Usos vs Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode The match starts as soon as we come back from commercial. Ziggler and Jimmy start the match and jockey for control while still in the lock-up, Ziggler backs Jimmy into his corner and tags in Roode. Roode works Jimmy over in the corner before whipping him into the opposite corner, but Jimmy leaps up and over Roode and then delivers a stinging chops of his own. Jimmy hits Roode with a big right hand as he comes off the rope and then delivers one to Ziggler who comes into the ring. Jimmy tags in Jey who jumps off the top with an ax handle to the arm of Roode. Roode reverses a whip into the ropes by Jey who gets tripped up by Ziggler and as he turns back around is clotheslined by Roode. Roode tags in Ziggler and Ziggler dropkicks Jey for a 2 count. Ziggler and Roode continue to work Jey over on their side of the ring while they make frequent tags.
Roode grounds Jey for a couple of minutes before hitting him with a gourdbuster and Ziggler follows that up with a fameasser for a 2 count. Ziggler knocks Jimmy off the apron and as he turns his attention away from Jey he gets rolled up in a schoolboy but is able to kick out. Ziggler and Roode hit their Spinebuster and Zig-Zag combo move for a very close 2 count as Jimmy breaks it up at the last second. Jimmy hits a superkick on Ziggler only to turn around into a big boot from Roode. Jey hits Roode with an enziguri and then goes up top only to get shoved off the top to the floor by Ziggler as we go to commercial.  As we come back Roode is raking the face of Jey across the top rope and then works him over in the corner. Jey tries to make a comeback when Ziggler gets tagged in but a single kick to the knee sends him back down to the mat. Jey fights his way out of the heel corner and then dumps Roode to the outside and just as he is about to finally make the tag to Jimmy he is cut off by Roode, Roode tries to knock Jimmy off the apron but he ducks and then Jey crawls between Roode’s legs and finally makes the tag.  Jimmy enters the ring via a diving crossbody of the top and then fires away with right hands and uppercuts followed by a Samoan drop on Roode and then one on Ziggler. Jimmy hits the running hip smash on Ziggler and goes for one on Roode, but gets caught with a powerslam instead. Jimmy counters an attempted Glorious DDT with a backdrop and this leads to Roode tagging Ziggler back in. Ziggler hits the Zig Zag on Jimmy for a close 2 count. Ziggler sets up for the superkick, but Jimmy connects with his own first and then hits one on Roode as well. Jey is tagged back in and he goes for the Uso Splash, but Ziggler gets his knees up and rolls Jey into a pin but Jey is able to kick out.  Ziggler tags Roode in and they attempt a double suplex on Jey but Jimmy makes the save, Ziggler and Jimmy both go over the top to the floor. Jey goes for a superkick on Roode but his leg gets caught and Roode tries for an O’Connor roll but at the last second Jimmy blind tags himself into the match. The Usos hit a double superkick on Roode and then Jimmy goes up top and hits the Uso Splash to pick up the win. Winners: The Usos via Pinfall  Match Rating: **½ This was a good match as usual between these two teams but nothing about it made it stand out from the rest of their matches against each other.  We cut to the back where we see Alexa Bliss getting ready for her match when Nikki Cross walks up and hands Alexa her gloves. Alexa talks about how she has beaten Bayley before and she can do it again, but Nikki reminds her that she has to get through her match tonight first and Bliss lets her know she has a plan up her sleeve.  We got a recap of the main event segment last week with King Corbin getting covered in dog food. We see Corbin entering the production truck and he wants to know who just played that video, he finds the guy and throws him out of the production truck and down the stairs that lead up to the truck. Agents run over and back Corbin away.  I really enjoyed this segment with Corbin as it made sense that a heel would be so embarrassed and pissed off about what happened to him that he would want to take his frustrations out on the people that re-aired the video for the entire world to see. With that being said I personally didn’t need to relive that horrible Wrestlecrap segment yet again.  Elias is in the ring and he plays the guitar for a while until Cesaro and Sami Zayn cut him off. Zayn gets on the mic and starts trash talking Elias saying that what happens to him tonight at the hands of Cesaro is his own fault. Cesaro and Zayn walk down to the ring as we go to commercial.  Match #2: Elias vs Cesaro w/ Sami Zayn We come back from commercial with the match already in progress as Cesaro has Elias back up into the corner. Elias shoots Cesaro into the ropes from being in a headlock and as he comes back Elias tries for a hip toss but it’s blocked and then Cesaro lands a big European uppercut. Elias reverses a whip into the ropes and hits a big back body drop on Cesaro. Elias hits a one-armed backbreaker on Cesaro that gets a 2 count. Cesaro then reverses a whip into the corner but this ends up being a bad decision as Elias hits him with a mule kick out of the corner. Elias looks to go up top but before he can Zayn gets up on the apron, this leads to Cesaro sending Elias into the ring post face-first and then he hits Elias with a big boot knocking him off the apron.  Cesaro goes out to get Elias but first, he slams him sternum first onto the barricade. Cesaro rolls Elias into the ring and covers Elias for a 2 count. Cesaro locks Elias in a chin lock for a couple of minutes until Elias starts to fight his way out of it. Cesaro then hits Elias with a back body drop and an elbow drop for another 2 count. Cesaro hits a gutwrench suplex that Elias kicks out of. Cesaro chokes Elias across the middle rope and then distracts the referee long enough for Zayn to get in a cheap shot. Cesaro grounds Elias once again with another chin lock. Elias fights his way out once again and then Cesaro lowers his head looking for another backdrop but Elias kicks him instead. Cesaro tries to go for a rest hold for a third time but Elias hits him with a belly to back suplex. Cesaro looks to hit a running European uppercut in the corner, but Elias gets his boot up and then hits a nice jumping knee strike that keeps Cesaro down long enough for a 2 count.
Elias goes up top but Cesaro crotches him, Cesaro joins Elias on the ropes and wants to hit a superplex but Elias keeps blocking it and finally pushes Cesaro off the ropes sending him down to the mat. Elias is slow to get into position for what he wants to come off the top with so Cesaro springs to his feet and hits Elias with a jumping European uppercut that sends Elias down to the apron. Cesaro then hits a deadlift superplex but this still isn’t enough to finish off Elias. Cesaro looked to be going for the Neutralizer, but Elias counters it into a jackknife pin for another 2 count. Elias runs off the ropes and Cesaro catches him with a pop-up uppercut but that still isn’t enough to finish off Elias.  Cesaro picks up Elias and hits him with a barrage of short-range European uppercuts. Elias fires back with some chops and now we have both men exchanging strikes. Elias backs Cesaro into the corner and hits him with repeated strikes to the point where the referee has to pull him off Cesaro. Elias then hits a clothesline and a body slam on Cesaro and finally, he hits the top rope elbow drop and that is enough to put the Swiss Cyborg down for the 3 count. Winner: Elias via Pinfall   Match Rating: ***¼ I definitely wasn’t expecting this match to be as good as it was, but these two went out and put on a really good match, putting on a really good match is nothing new for Cesaro, however, it definitely isn’t something I come to expect from Elias as most of the time I find him average at best in the ring. This may be Elias’s best singles match of his WWE career but then again it’s hard to have a bad match when you’re standing across the ring from one of the most underrated wrestlers that WWE has on its roster.  We see Goldberg getting mic’d up for an interview as we go to break.  When we come back we are getting ready for the Goldberg interview, but before that Corbin comes out and cuts the heel promo you would expect from him. Corbin says he wants Roman Reigns in the ring one more time because Reigns would’ve never beat him without The Usos. Corbin pours a drink on a fan and that is when Reigns comes out and beats the shit out of Corbin until Corbin retreats through the crowd. Reigns gets on the mic and says if Corbin wants another match with him that’s fine but it’s going to be inside of a steel cage.  I can’t even begin to express how sick and tired I am of this feud, this feud has been going on for 4 damn months, that’s right a feud between Roman Reigns and Baron Corbin has been going on for 4 DAMN MONTHS and while there are some feuds in the history of WWE that have lasted 4 months and still feel fresh and still have something to offer, this is far from being one of those feuds. There have been three times in the last four months where this feud should’ve ended, but Vince McMahon for some reason thinks the fans are so invested in this feud that it needs to keep going into eternity but in reality this feud is only playing to an audience of one and that one is Vince McMahon himself. The fact that they are putting the match in a steel cage doesn’t bring any added interest to it at all, in fact, they could get naked and light themselves on fire and I still couldn’t give two shits about these two facing each other.  We then go to the interview with Goldberg via satellite where he talks about how he never got a chance to regain the Universal Championship so he is challenging The Fiend. We are then interrupted by breaking news courtesy of Firefly Funhouse News (FFN) and we go to lead anchor Bray Wyatt. Bray sets that The Fiend accepts and then throws to Mercy the Buzzard for the weather who says that Goldberg has no chance in hell of taking the title off The Fiend. Goldberg cuts in and says that Bray’s intimidation isn’t going to work and that he is going to take the Universal Championship from The Fiend and that The Fiend is NEXT! When it was announced earlier this week that Goldberg was going to be on SmackDown I was under the impression that he was actually going to be there but instead, we got him via satellite from his garage. I am very interested to see how this Fiend vs Goldberg match plays out as this could just be a simple one-off for Goldberg where he just comes in and gets some more Saudi blood money while at the same time giving The Fiend a win over another legend, but on the other hand, Goldberg could be working a match at WrestleMania and could go in as the Universal Champion just like in 2017. If Goldberg does go into WrestleMania as champion then his most likely opponent would be Roman Reigns, but if that happens then who does that leave The Fiend face at WrestleMania?
Daniel Bryan is in the locker room minding his own business when Heath Slater walks up and he says that he is worried about Bryan. Slater starts talking about everything Bryan went through with The Fiend and he keeps rambling on and on about it to the point where Bryan finally got tired of hearing it and challenged Slater to a match before leaving the locker room.  Match #3: Daniel Bryan vs Heath Slater As soon as the bell rings Bryan connects with a running corner dropkick on Slater and then throws him out of the ring so he can hit him with a tope suicida which sends Slater falling over the announce table. Bryan throws Slater back into the ring and then comes off the top with a missile dropkick. Bryan hits the Yes Kicks and follows that up with the running knee, but he isn’t done with Slater yet. Bryan clutches the wrists of Slater and repeatedly stomps on the head of Slater before finally locking in the Yes Lock to pick up the win. Winner: Daniel Bryan via Submission   Match Rating: *¾ I really locked the locker room exchange between Slater and Bryan because just like the Corbin thing earlier in the night with the production truck it felt like something new and fresh. I liked how the subject matter in the promo that Slater cut was very serious, but yet the way he delivered it was hilarious. You don’t realize how much you miss Heath Slater on TV until he shows back up and knocks whatever he is doing out of the park which he does every time he is given the opportunity to. I’m still not sure where this Daniel Bryan thing is going but unlike a lot of stuff on SmackDown lately I am definitely interested to see where it goes.
As we come back from commercial we are shown footage of last week when Braun Strowman won the Intercontinental Championship.  Braun Strowman is interviewed by Renee Young about his title win last week, he says winning the title is the greatest accomplishment of his career. Strowman is interrupted by Sami Zayn & Shinsuke Nakamura who wants a rematch as Strowman’s win was fraudulent. Strowman says Nakamura can have a rematch anytime he wants including tonight. Nakamura and Zayn walk toward the ring but then decide against it and instead Strowman is attacked from behind by The Revival. Strowman comes back and takes out everyone and then runs after Zayn but Zayn runs into the ring and when Strowman follows he is hit by Nakamura with a Kinshasa.  This was fine as it continues on the feud between Strowman and Nakamura and also got The Revival on the show. I guess The Revival will join Zayn’s stable as his lackeys while they wait on their contracts to run out so they can leave the company.  We then get a video package showing Otis getting ready for his date with Mandy Rose next week via a Rocky esque training montage that shows him trying on different outfits as well as trying to learn etiquette. This was an easy yet effective way to feature this story on the show and remind us of the big date next week between the two love birds.   Match #4: Sheamus vs Apollo Crews Sheamus hits clubbing blows to the back of Crews and then goes for a clothesline but Crews ducks and lands some strikes of his own. Sheamus reverses an Irish whip but lowers his head too early and gets kicked and then hit with an enziguri. Sheamus avoids a splash in the corner and then hits Crews with the Brogue Kick to pick up the win. Winner: Sheamus via Pinfall   Match Rating: ½* After the match, Shorty G runs out and tries to make the save but ends up getting hit with the Brogue Kick as well.  Yep, this happened, nice to see Apollo Crews get his bi-annual Raw or SmackDown squash appearance.  The announcers hype up the Super Showdown matches before we go to the main event.  Match #5: Alexa Bliss vs Naomi vs Carmella vs Dana Brooke We only get to see Naomi’s entrance as the other three women are already in the ring, Bayley is at ringside and will be watching the match to see who her next opponent will be. I think we should’ve at least got Alexa’s entrance as she has had a big week as she first got to interview the stars of the Birds of Prey movie, then a song was released by the band Bowling for Soup that is all about her, and finally, TMZ ran a story about Alexa and the new man in her life Ryan Cabrerra so it has been an eventful week for the “Five Feet of Fury”. We start out with Carmella and Alexa fighting it out in one corner and Naomi taking on Dana in another corner. Dana backdrops Naomi to the apron but Naomi connects with a sunset flip pin on Dana which Dana kicks out of and then tries to score a pin of her own, but Naomi kicks out. Carmella tries for a schoolgirl pin on Dana and right after Alexa tries for an Oklahoma roll on Carmella but neither pinfall attempts are successful. Dana kicks Naomi in the gut and then tries to clothesline Carmella, but Mella ducks and then moonwalks until she backs into Alexa who hits her with a big right hand. Dana hits a dropkick on Naomi and then hits the handspring back elbow on Carmella after Alexa moves out of the way. Alexa hits a forearm shot to Dana and then dropkicks her sending her out of the ring under the bottom rope. Naomi dropkicks Alexa and she rolls to the outside and then Naomi hits a tornillo to the outside onto all three of her opponents. Bayley takes this time to raise her title and talk some smack, Naomi gets to her feet and shoves Bayley and this leads to Bayley sending Naomi into the steel steps as we go to commercial.
As we come back from break we see Dana miss a Swanton Bomb and Alexa takes advantage of that by hitting her with a terrible looking DDT and then Carmella hits Alexa with a flat liner. All three women in the ring are laid out and Naomi is still out on the outside after the attack from Bayley. Alexa and Dana get to their feet only to get taken right back down when Naomi hits them with a springboard crossbody. Naomi hits a running jawbreaker on Carmella, a full nelson bomb on Alexa, and finally, she takes Dana down with a springboard chuck kick but only gets a 2 count on a pinfall attempt as Alexa breaks it up. Alexa sends Naomi to the outside and when she does Carmella tries to score a surprise win with a schoolgirl on Alexa but she kicks out at 2. Carmella tries for a superkick but Alexa ducks and hits her slap and right-hand combo and then follows up with Insult to Injury. Dana hits Alexa with the Brooketista Bomb for another 2 count as Carmella breaks up the pin.  Carmella stomps on Dana in the corner and follows up with another moonwalk before hitting Dana with the bronco buster. Naomi then hits Carmella with a bulldog that sends her face-first into the middle turnbuckle and then follows up with the split-legged moonsault which only gets 2 as Dana breaks it up at the very last second. Dana picks Naomi up in the fireman’s carry position, but Naomi slips out the back and then hits Dana with a wheelbarrow stunner. Alexa is back in and she takes Naomi down with a dropkick and then stomps a mudhole into her in the corner. Naomi rolls Alexa up in a small package that gets a 2 count. Naomi hits a big standing leg drop as Bayley looks on from ringside with a concerned look on her face. Naomi sets Alexa up top and they trade strikes which Alexa eventually gets the best of as she pushes Naomi down to the mat and Alexa sees this as an opportunity to try for a pin but she only gets a 2 count.  Alexa hits some clubbing blows and then looks to hit a seated Naomi with a running dropkick, but she stops on a dime and slaps Naomi and gets a one count on a pinfall attempt. Dana and Carmella get back on the apron so Naomi throws Alexa into Carmella and then suplexes Dana into the ring. Naomi hits a split style leg drop onto Dana for a 2 count. Naomi throws Dana to the outside and then gets sent into the second turnbuckle face-first by Alexa. Naomi tries to bulldog Alexa into the turnbuckles like she did Carmella earlier, but Alexa pushes her off and this time Naomi is the one sent into the turnbuckles. Alexa goes to hit Twisted Bliss on Naomi but she gets her knees up and then she takes Alexa out with the Rear View. Carmella runs in and hits two superkicks on Naomi and pins her to pick up the win, however, it looked like Naomi’s shoulders may have come up during the count. Winner: Carmella via Pinfall   Match Rating: **3/4  After the match, Bayley attacks Carmella from behind and actually hits her with The Stroke this time and it looked much better than whatever she had been using as a finisher. SmackDown goes off the air with Bayley walking up the ramp holding her title in the air as Carmella looks on from the ring in shock.  It’s about time the women of SmackDown were featured in a match that lasts more than five minutes as it has been awhile. This match did a great job of putting over Naomi as she was definitely the star of the match despite not winning the match. Naomi not winning came as a total shock as I thought she was a guaranteed winner after the interaction she had with Bayley both last week and earlier in this match, but seeing as it looked like her shoulders were up they will most likely either make it a triple threat match or have the Carmella title defense be on TV (or perhaps they even have the match at Super Showdown although that is the less likely choice) while the title match against Naomi will happen at Elimination Chamber. It will be interesting to see how they get back to Sasha vs Bayley in time for WrestleMania because right now with all the mainstream attention Naomi is getting it feels like she should be the one to dethrone Bayley, but I know the bigger draw for Mania is Bayley vs Sasha.
I thought this was a better episode than last week, but then again any show that didn’t have a match that revolved around someone being covered with dog food would’ve been better than last week. I am interested to see how both the Daniel Bryan and the Goldberg vs Fiend stories turn out. I am also liking the New Day vs Miz & Morrison feud and look forward to seeing more interactions between those two teams. On the flip side, I am sick and tired of seeing anything that involves any combination of Roman Reigns, The Usos, Dolph Ziggler & Bobby Roode, & King Corbin against each other and to a lesser extent, the same can be said about the Sheamus vs Shorty G feud. We got some new interesting stuff on this show, but yet at the same time we still got far too much of the same old shit that we have seen for the past three months.  That’s it for this week ladies and gentlemen but I will be back next week as we continue down the road to WrestleMania that has a long-ass detour that takes us through Saudi Arabia.

While only seven superstars have confirmed their place in the women’s match, its a big-name field nonetheless, with Natalya, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and Nikki Cross all set to be involved in the big face off.
Outside of the Rumble excitement there’s some pretty strong undercard fights, with Becky Lynch set to defend her Raw Women’s Championship vs Asuka while Roman Reigns will face King Corbin in a Falls Count Anywhere match.

The list of devices you can watch on is almost as lengthy, with apps for iOS and Android, PlayStation, Xbox, Apple TV, Roku and Smart TVs all included.

How to live stream WWE Royal Rumble 2020 in Japan
Wrestling fans in Japan won’t want to miss Asuka’s showdown Becky Lynch – and there’s a few options for tuning in. The main card will start at 8am on Monday morning in Japan.

2018 WWE Royal Rumble predictions: Skilled picks, match card, rumors, location
WWE’s first main pay-per-view of 2018 will kick off the so-called “Highway to WrestleMania” because the Royal Rumble will go down Sunday night time on the Wells Fargo Middle in Philadelphia. Although not each title is on the road, the present ought to set the stage as WWE heads down its most necessary stretch of its yr heading into the “Showcase of the Immortals,” WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans.
So what’s going to we see Sunday night time in Phillly? Our CBS Sports activities consultants break down all the card, beginning with the three-match kickoff present and working via the top of what might wind up being a six-hour pay-per-view when all is claimed and accomplished.
Be sure you stick to CBS Sports activities for full protection of the 2018 Royal Rumble on Sunday night time. Subscribe to the In This Nook with Brian Campbell Podcast for immediate response from the present and full protection of WWE every week.
2018 WWE Royal Rumble predictions
Kalisto, Lince Dorado & Gran Metalik vs. TJP, Jack Gallagher & Drew Gulak (Kickoff Present)
Adam Silverstein: With no cruiserweight championship match on the present, this was booked. A ¯_(ツ)_/¯ is all I can actually give it. Maybe among the different cruiserweights — cough, cough … Cedric Alexander — might be within the Royal Rumble itself. This result’s meaningless. Decide: Kalisto, Dorado & Metalik win
Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson vs. The Revival (Kickoff Present)
AS: Although The Revival obtained a squash win over unnamed jobbers two weeks in the past, it seems as if they are going to be squash match fodder themselves right here. It could make little sense for The Balor Membership to be in the course of a push and for Gallows & Anderson to lose this match underneath any circumstances. Decide: Gallows & Anderson win
United States Championship: Bobby Roode (c) vs. TBA (Kickoff Present)
AS: The U.S. Open Problem returns as Roode will defend his title in opposition to a yet-to-be-announced opponent on the kickoff present. Contemplating following usually are not introduced for the Royal Rumble — Jinder Mahal, Mojo Rawley, Dolph Ziggler — it will make sense to be a kind of three. In fact, Roode already had a program with Ziggler and beat each Rawley and Mahal on his solution to profitable the title. Who is aware of?! Decide: Roode retains the title
SmackDown Tag Staff Championship: The Usos (c) vs. Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin (2-of-Three Falls Match)
Brian Campbell: For as red-hot as this feud began off with Benjamin and Gable executing a refined heel flip in plausible style, the previous couple of weeks have stalled out on account of uneventful reserving. Nonetheless, the potential for this to be a memorable match stays excessive. The Usos stay on such run that taking the belts off them makes a lot sense except this feud continues into WrestleMania. Decide: The Usos retain the titles
AS: The rematch to the rematch, this one needs to be the top of the feud (if The Usos retain) or simply the beginning ought to we get new champions on the present. The stipulation leads one to imagine it is perhaps the latter because it performs into the fingers of the “technicians” in Gable & Benjamin. Plus, if The Usos merely retain once more, who is actually left on SmackDown besides the Bludgeon Brothers, who’ve fully been off TV since a few squash matches a couple of weeks in the past. Decide: Gable & Benjamin win the titles
Uncooked Tag Staff Championship: Seth Rollins & Jason Jordan (c) vs. The Bar
AS: Sheamus & Cesaro lastly get their title rematch on the Royal Rumble, although the Rollins/Jordan workforce appears to be collectively for some time and certain wants the championship to ensure that their program to make sense. Then once more, they might additionally drop the titles and instantly begin a feud. With Jordan seemingly injured and the division needing to maneuver on from a pairing that was speculated to characteristic Dean Ambrose, I feel we see two title modifications within the tag workforce division. Decide: The Bar wins the titles
BC: This is to hoping that is the top of Rollins’ feuding in opposition to Sheamus and Cesaro, which has been happening in some type since July. Jordan stays the very best factor going from week to week on Uncooked, and the evolution of his unsteady union with Rollins has been good. With Ambrose scheduled to be out for many of 2018, there is not any cause to explode this championship pairing simply but, particularly contemplating Jordan and Rollins have every planted seeds heel flip of some form might be within the playing cards. WWE has quite a lot of instructions it will probably go over the subsequent two months as a way to end telling the Jordan-Kurt Angle story and Rollins’ involvement solely makes issues really feel extra necessary. Decide: Rollins & Jordan retain the titles
WWE Championship: AJ Types (c) vs. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn (Handicap Match)
BC: For a feud initially dominated by the involvement of SmackDown authority figures Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan, each have taken extra of a again seat in current weeks. With the main target again on the individuals, there was sufficient teasing about the potential for an uncommon co-WWE championship reign between Owens and Zayn to imagine it is a route we’re seemingly headed. And with another pay-per-view in March (Fastlane) to go earlier than WrestleMania, it is very seemingly Types might additionally win the belt again, organising a spin-off feud between “finest buddies.” However let’s not get too far forward of ourselves. The psychology of this feud hasn’t been sound, together with why Bryan justified making this a handicap match to start with (and why Types agreed to face each Owens and Zayn on the go-home episode of SmackDown). However one factor to look out for Sunday is whether or not the heel conduct repeatedly proven by Types throughout Tuesday’s important occasion proves telling relating to his future. Decide: Owens & Zayn win the title
AS: No method. No method can WWE bastardize the best title in sports activities leisure historical past additional after letting it sit on the shoulder of Mahal for six months. Co-champions? Are you kidding me?! This utter disgust towards the concept could also be tainting my prediction right here, however I merely don’t see how this occurs. If it does, it must come as McMahon tries to assist Types from getting screwed, however that feud actually occurred precisely one yr in the past. I simply do not see it. No method. Decide: Types retains the title
Common Championship: Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Braun Strowman vs. Kane
AS: This match has by no means made sense. Getting Lesnar and Strowman collectively within the ring isn’t usually a foul factor, although this construct has been an absolute mess. Is Kane merely there to take the autumn? Will Lesnar as soon as once more go over within the construct to an apparent rematch with Reigns? The rest could be a legit shock, although I suppose Strowman might win the title solely to lose it again to Lesnar or setup a triple menace at WrestleMania 34. In the end although, I feel WWE and Vince McMahon stick to their Lesnar-Reigns plan with Reigns profitable a shot at Elimination Chamber. Decide: Lesnar retains the title
BC: Something however a Lesnar victory right here could be a serious shock contemplating the plans we predict WWE has had for a full yr of matching “The Beast” in opposition to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. The ending of Monday’s go-home episode of Uncooked appeared to verify that as Strowman stood tall after slamming Lesnar via the announce desk. Not solely has the construct to this feud been an unbelievable disappointment (save for Strowman’s comical moments of harmful violence), the inclusion of 50-year-old Kane has been nothing wanting gratuitous, annoying and clear. “The Massive Crimson Monster” is barely within the match to guard Strowman from having to lose clear to Lesnar once more. It finally begs the query of why WWE even booked this feud to start with and why it stubbornly caught with it within the face of damaging public response. Decide: Lesnar retains the title
Girls’s Royal Rumble Entrants (18/30): Asuka, Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan, Sasha Banks, Nia Jax, Bayley, Naomi, Natalya, Sonya Deville, Mandy Rose, Mickie James, Tamina Snuka, Lana, Carmella, Becky Lynch, Dana Brooke, Alicia Fox
BC: With 12 spots nonetheless not but introduced, the prospect of shock returns and divulges stays excessive. Nothing has produced extra buzz than rumors of former UFC champion Ronda Rousey making her official debut. Whereas an look of any form from Rousey has grow to be each anticipated and extremely anticipated, it might show smarter for WWE to delay the reveal of her first match to WrestleMania and easily have her carry out a run-in of some form on Sunday. Both method, it would not be out of the query to see Rousey escalate upon the seeds that have been planted by WWE in July for a 4 Horsewomen feud in opposition to Charlotte Aptitude. One might additionally guess Corridor of Famers like Lita, Trish Stratus and Beth Phoenix might make an look, together with Stephanie McMahon.
So far as who will win, the large tease of late surrounding Asuka has felt a bit too apparent. Contemplating titleholders Aptitude and Alexa Bliss aren’t anticipated to be within the match, the largest remaining identify to present the historic victory to is Sasha Banks. This might additionally plant the seeds towards a WrestleMania feud in opposition to Asuka ought to she defeat Bliss for the Uncooked title over the subsequent two months. Decide: Banks wins
AS: Proper on right here. We’re being led to imagine Asuka is actually the one one that can win this match, however little will we neglect that Banks simply ate a clear loss to Sonya Deville on Uncooked a pair weeks in the past. You recognize what which means! The reality is that Banks must win this as a result of WWE wants its first ladies’s Royal Rumble winner to be marketable and in a position to carry herself on the mic. I like Asuka a ton and assume the language barrier is a bit overstated along with her, however she’s not the appropriate individual to win the first-ever ladies’s Rumble. Lynch is unquestionably one other legit possibility, and it will power a pal vs. pal feud with Aptitude at WrestleMania. When it comes to the particular entrants, Lita is a should. Honestly, Stratus actually needs to be one as properly. It could be cool to see NXT coach Sara Del Ray get an opportunity, however with the followers not understanding her, that is a longshot to say the least. Superior Kong/Kharma is who I might pop to see. Decide: Banks wins
Males’s Royal Rumble Entrants (18/30): Roman Reigns, The Miz, John Cena, Finn Balor, Randy Orton, Shinsuke Nakamura, Elias, Baron Corbin, Matt Hardy, Bray Wyatt, Aiden English, Rusev, Titus O’Neil, Apollo Crews, Tye Dillinger, Massive E, Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods
BC: It is tough to handicap this match with out at the least acknowledging how a lot the betting odds have modified of late in Daniel Bryan’s favor. A Bryan return wouldn’t solely be huge information unto itself, him profitable the match might give Philadelphia followers the pop they have been denied three years in the past when Roman Reigns received (and was infamously booed). However it’s tough to name this a lock contemplating Bryan’s real-life well being considerations, though a match of this sort might shield him from taking harmful bumps. Outdoors of Bryan, the largest query mark is whether or not WWE is audacious sufficient to return to the properly in Philly with a Reigns victory. Contemplating how a lot the earlier yr’s reserving has accomplished to create extra cheers for Reigns, this looks like a raffle that would backfire spectacularly. If Reigns does not win, organising a WrestleMania important occasion match in opposition to Lesnar, it is more likely the winner might be used to face Types for the WWE championship as a substitute.
Beneath that body of considering, Nakamura needs to be a favourite. WWE teased the concept of a Types-Nakamura feud throughout final June’s Cash within the Financial institution match, even referencing their historical past in Japan. This appears to be the most secure and most reasonable thought. However do not depend out Dolph Ziggler and the truth that his present storyline — which noticed him win the USA title simply days after publicly complaining his lack of a push, solely to see him give it up and disappear from SmackDown — appears to be constructing towards one thing large. Decide: Nakamura wins
AS: Ditto to actually every little thing above. BC and I are on the very same web page getting into this match. Reigns profitable could be a real catastrophe, although it will maybe be comical to see WWE try and reinvent the end from three years in the past with Rusev sneak-attacking Reigns after the match was presumed over. Rusev being so rattling over makes him a darkhorse right here as properly, one that actually no person is speaking about. So far as what I need to occur? I might ebook Balor going over and the Types difficult him Monday night time, flipping the script with Types wanting a rematch after falling to Balor at TLC. Balor must forego his long-awaited alternative at Lesnar however would achieve this contemplating the budding rivalry. Most significantly, nevertheless, WWE must get its shock entrants proper this yr, particularly if it is winner goes to be lackluster. Decide: Nakamura wins

WWE Extreme Rules 2017 results: A contender is crowned
Brock Lesnar finally knows who is coming for his title.
WWE Extreme Rules lived up to its name in a big way, with six brutally physical matches that all made the absolute most of each of their unique stipulations. Only one title changed hands on the night, but every match delivered on their promise and entertained. The headline, though, is who won the main event, the Fatal Five Way match between five of the best Superstars in the WWE today.
Samoa Joe becomes the number one contender
WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar has an opponent for Great Balls of Fire — yes, that really is the name of the next Raw pay-per-view — and his name is Samoa Joe.
He won a grueling Fatal Five Way match fought under Extreme Rules stipulations against Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, and Bray Wyatt, setting himself up for a huge match in July against the Beast Incarnate and reigning Universal Champion. That’s going to be a massive match, and hopefully Samoa Joe can recover quickly after the intense grind of a match he had to go through to get there.
The match quickly devolved into chaos, with fights breaking out all over the ring area as each of the five stars brawled in hopes of earning supremacy in the match. The Extreme Rules came into play in the form of Bray Wyatt and Samoa Joe forming a temporary alliance to take control, using the ring steps as a battering ram to take down all three of their foes. That alliance held firm as they ran roughshod over Reigns, Balor, and Rollins, until a dive through the ropes from Rollins saw Wyatt shove Joe into his path to save himself. That saw Joe turn on Wyatt in a hurry, breaking the match wide open again.
That eventually lead to a brutal sequence, with Reigns spearing both Joe and Balor through the barricade into the timekeeper’s area, quickly followed by Rollins Frog Splashing Wyatt through one of the announce tables. The two former SHIELD brothers were the only two on their feet for a long time, and Rollins and Reigns used that time to absolutely hammer away on one another chasing that match with Lesnar, with near fall after near fall coming as the one-time allies threw everything they had at each other.
But eventually the other three started working their way back into the match, and Rollins was dispatched before Reigns sent Wyatt packing. The return of Balor saw the Irish Superstar nearly beat Roman Reigns, hitting his Coup De Gras on the Samoan — but out of nowhere came the other Samoan in the match, with Samoa Joe snagging him and locking in the Coquina Clutch, quickly making Balor pass out to claim the number one contender’s slot for himself in shocking fashion.

The Miz sneaks his way to the Intercontinental championship
Extreme Rules opened with a match carrying an interesting stipulation: with fiery Superstar and Intercontinental champion Dean Ambrose defending his title against an ever-frustrating opponent in The Miz, it would be understandable if Ambrose lost his never-stable calm and got himself disqualified. But unlike normal circumstances when he would keep his title if that occurred, if that happened in this match, The Miz would walk away the seven-time Intercontinental champ, just two reigns behind the all-time mark set by Chris Jericho.
Ambrose had several near-misses with that stipulation early in the match, including a long beating in the corner that nearly went to the referee’s five count before he backed off, then brandishing a chair at The Miz outside the ring. Ambrose got control of himself and of the match for a long spell, but an apparent knee injury after missing on a move from the top rope slowed him down enough for The Miz to sink in a Figure Four Leglock on Ambrose’s injured leg.
He nearly ran afoul of the match stipulation again when The Miz managed to get back to the ropes while Ambrose had a Figure Four of his own locked in, but he released the hold just before the referee got to five. The Miz tried to get Dean disqualified by having his wife Maryse slap him, which would typically have the referee calling for the bell. Referee John Cone ejected Maryse instead, but while she argued with him on one side of the ring, Miz swooped in and shoved Ambrose into Cone, forcing the referee out of the ring. As Dean pleaded with Cone to not disqualify him, Miz managed to slip in and hit his Skull Crushing Finale, earning himself a big win and the Intercontinental championship.

Alexa Bliss and her kendo stick beat down Bayley
After weeks of Alexa Bliss harassing and humiliating Bayley, it came time for them to go toe-to-toe in the squared circle — with a kendo stick hanging over the ring, up for grabs and perfectly legal to use. Both women went for the stick repeatedly before it finally came free of the pole it was hanging from, landing in the ring and ultimately ending up in Bayley’s hands first.
After a brief chase that finally had Bayley corner Bliss, though, she hesitated before swinging the kendo stick, giving Bliss an opening to shoulder-charge her, knocking the stick free and and claiming it for herself. She wore out that stick on Bayley’s back, and despite the former WWE Raw Women’s champion fighting back into the match briefly, Bliss and the kendo stick to take control once more, before finally hitting a wicked DDT, pinning Bayley and successfully defending her title in a surprising hurry.

Sheamus and Cesaro break the Hardy Boys
It’s been more than 15 years since any WWE tag team titles have been defended inside a steel cage, but what other stipulation could there be for Team Extreme to defend the WWE Raw Tag Team championship at Extreme Rules? The Hardy Boyz have been in steel cages as a tag team before, and they felt that experience would be enough to best the brutal aggression of Sheamus and Cesaro in this match.
Making this match even more unique is that both members of a tag team had to escape the cage to win — pinfalls and submissions would not end this match. Sheamus and Cesaro would try for a quick escape at the start of the match, but Matt and Jeff Hardy would take control early and often as they tried to defend their titles.
That momentum turned in the favor of the European bruisers, though, with Cesaro and Sheamus beating down Jeff Hardy before turning their attention to a suddenly-isolated Matt. Both teams would battle over escape attempts before Jeff managed to wriggle his way away from Cesaro and get out of the cage — but that left Matt all alone against both opponents. Sheamus and Cesaro threatened to break Matt in half as Jeff tried to help pull him over the top of the cage, but pulled him back in before working on breaking some of his bones.
Matt managed to get back to the top of the cage, but a huge Swiss Uppercut from Cesaro appeared to knock him out cold, leaving him vulnerable to a White Noise off the top rope from Sheamus, leaving him in agony in the middle of the ring. Knowing the situation was huge, Jeff Hardy climbed back on top of the cage and managed to unleash his Whisper In The Wind from all the way up top to knock down Sheamus and Cesaro — but Matt having to drag Jeff’s wounded body out of the cage gave Sheamus and Cesaro a chance to climb out, with the duo barely beating Matt and Jeff out of the cage to re-claim the WWE Raw Tag Team championship.

The King of the Cruiserweights still reigns
After narrowly working his way out of two potential wins for Austin Aries with his brutal Last Chancery submission hold, WWE Cruiserweight champion Neville had to figure out a way to avoid the move in a submission match at Extreme Rules that forced him to stay constantly aware of Aries’ ability to lock in that hold.
Neville gave himself an advantage long before the match began, with he and his disciple, former Cruiserweight champ TJP, constantly attacking Aries’ left knee, leaving him at less than 100% coming into the night. Neville focused on that knee at every opportunity during their match, but Aries fought back constantly, even doing damage to Neville’s own left knee in the process. His own injury cost him, though, making him lose his balance as he attempted a missile drop kick, slowing down the move and giving Neville the time he needed to get out of the way, then lock in his Rings of Saturn submission move.
Aries was able to escape the hold, though, and had Neville in danger by locking in the Rings himself — but Neville’s crafty approach managed to force Aries to let go or risk disqualification, giving him the opening he needed to go on the attack once more. Aries was able to fight his way out of a bad situation on the top rope, though, and hit a Sunset Flip Powerbomb before moving into the Last Chancery — but once more, Neville out-thought him, wriggling his way outside the ring before Aries could lock it in, knowing that when he tapped outside the ring, the referee would force Aries to let go of the hold as the match could only end inside the ring.
That gave Neville the opening he needed to sucker Aries into trying a tope suicida dive to the outside, getting out of the way again and letting Aries knock himself silly on the floor. One Red Arrow later, and Neville had the Rings of Saturn locked in once more, leaving Aries with no choice but to tap out and give up on his dream of being the WWE Cruiserweight champion, and leaving Neville still on his throne as the King of the Cruiserweights.

Rich Swann gets hometown win alongside Sasha Banks
Sasha Banks and Rich Swann took down Alicia Fox and Noam Dar in a fast-paced mixed-gender tag team match that saw Swann competing in his hometown of Baltimore. Banks can tell you that competing in a big match at home is a hard thing to do — arguably her biggest title loss came in Boston — but with her help, Swann was able to overcome the odds and plant a huge 450 Splash on the dynamic Dar. Fox and Dar put up a good fight, but it wasn’t enough to upend the sheer talent and energy of Banks and Swann.
