Worst wingman ever - 3 word title : was cute, kinda sad

Royal valentine - set in a country different than yours : cute but short 😂

The exception to the rule - one of the colors of the sun : probably my favorite of the short stories I read. Cute & funny

A not so meet cute - one of the colors of the sun : not a fan 🤷‍♀️ but also read a 411 pg book in like a day 🤔😂 just wasn’t what I was looking for

As soon as I'm done with work today I'm going to be prepping for a 24-hour Readathon (@deweysreadathon). So I probably won't get much writing in this weekend. And if all goes well I'm gonna be super sleep deprived on Sunday!

Romance Readathon Update!

Hey guys! So, reading has been a bit slow this week. I haven’t been able to listen to Legendborn thanks to the universe not giving me a chance to breathe lol. But I’m getting through the month.

I did, however, start reading The Atlas Six and I am hooked, sold and strapped in for the ride lol. There’s something exciting about getting access to sacred archives of the world. Ancient texts? Sign me up! I didn’t realise how much I’d enjoy dark academia! I also love that this paperback has beautiful illustrations of the characters!

Libby and Nico have quite the interesting dynamic! Nico likes to get on Libby’s nerves but I’m sensing something more there. For the amount of time they bicker at each other, they seem to share the same secrets…

I also love the power dynamic that Reina has as a naturalist. It was very unique to see how her power works. I can see how distinctive each character is. It will be interesting to see how they all interact!

I can’t wait to continue the book! Praying I get more time to read 🙏

Blizzard Readathon day 3

I had a wonderful Christmas with my family, we had a lot of laughs and had a lot of fun, even if it was a weird Christmas. We normally go to my cousin's house in the morning to watch her daughter open her presents, then have my grandmother over for dinner.

The roads were cleared but neither she or my aunt were comfortable driving out to our house for dinner.

Although I didn't spend as much time reading my paperbacks as I planned, I had a fun time listening to Holes (when people say they kept the movie close to the book, they aren't kidding).

The weather is improving, and I'm hoping to see my maternal cousins tomorrow. Thank you all for listening to me as the blizzard slowly drove me insane, the storm is over and the snow plows were out today, and the rest of the week is looking better. And I started Number the Stars just before midnight.
