I got my hands on 2 of the books in the Bourbon bros series & wow… I literally read this one yesterday. I haven’t been glued to a book like that in forever. What I think is super effective about her writing is that it’s concise. It feels like authors are being forced to write 362 pp. novels by their editors. This one was so great bc there wasn’t any superfluous writing. She got in, told the story and left us wanting more. I think that’s the gift of a talented writer! That’s what I did today: I’ve read more than 200 pages 🤭🤭🤭 • I’ve finished ‘Shadow and bone’ (‘Schim en schaduw’) from Leigh Bardugo. It’s the first book of the Girsha-trilogy. • What did you think of this book? • I likes the story, it was easy to read. Once I started I had difficulties putting the book away.
