as for my personal faves, my favorite album is after laughter, my general favorite paramore songs are ignorance, that's what you get, grow up, and hard times

as for recommendations... in general i recommend starting with the singles that ended up on the radio but especially misery business & ain't it fun, also decode from the twilight soundtrack

if you like misery business more: go for the brand new eyes & riot albums, and their first album all we know is falling! their style trends more rock imo and i think of them together

if you like ain't it fun more: go for the self titled & after laughter albums! a little more pop friendly than the previous ones i think

their new album is also really great! i haven't listened to it as much, but the first single from that was this is why and i think it's Very good

also i know you're a swiftie, so of course i will recommend castles crumbling, that lead singer hayley features on if you want to just dip your toe in to her usual sound (hayley also makes solo music on occasion that i like!)

me too! she's kind of my nostalgia artist, i think, the one that's stuck around the longest in my rotation? she's been here since i was fourteen (yes i too was not immune to she), and i don't absolutely adore everything she's ever done or anything, but i always enjoy popping in when new stuff comes out and seeing what i like, and how she's evolved. this year i've got hate myself at number eight (!!!) and hot mess at 21 :)

19. the veggie you dislike most?

oh this is a hard one, actually, since I have yet to find a vegetable that I've disliked every method of preparation. I don't like raw broccoli or cauliflower, and canned peas can only be use in pasta otherwise they make me gag, and lima beans and chickpeas are a struggle outside of blending them or dry roasting them.

But also I just remembered that I hate capers with every fiber of my being, and olives are a close second (they can at least be minced super fine and put into pasta sauce. I am a disgrace to my Mediterranean family and they tell me all the time lol).

23. do you wear jewelry?

Sometimes! I work in food service so I'm pretty limited in what I'm allowed to wear, but when I'm not at work I wear my wedding set. I also usually try to have at least one set of my ear piercings in. I also have a few necklaces I like to wear; one is my hamsa that a friend of mine gifted me even before I started my Jewish conversion, another is a pendant with my grandmother's ashes and her birthstone on it.

It's a bit of a shame, too, since I own a lot of statement pieces.

26. what is your spice tolerance?

Higher than I realize sometimes, but I don't like spicy for spicy's sake. I'm not just going to eat a carolina reaper or use an extreme hot sauce with no other complementary flavor, but if you mix it into something with mango or pineapple and a few sweeter peppers like jalapeño I'll enjoy it in moderation.

I coat my breakfast eggs in cayenne and red pepper flakes pretty much every day ❤️‍🔥
