So...I MAY have been collecting Fawfuls like pokemon cards <3

(and what the heck do I mean by that exactly??) WELL in a discord GC my friend Parmy suggested we’d imitate each other’s art styles as like a collab of sorts? Well...I kinda took that a step further heheh ^^

(And fun fact...this was supposed to be something I was gonna do for AU day of Fawful month too, but that idea got cut due to time)

So may I present...the different Fawfuls I drew!! For my friends/cool acquaintances!

So the one who led up to this in the first place, Fawful from @parmsnik AU!! He is dating/eventually marrying Naspi depending on where you’re at in the AU haha! Your way of drawing Fawful seems to change a little bit each time you draw him, so I tried to my best to guestimate a consistent looking Fawf! Very cute!

Up next is Fawful from @the-spacewaffle AU!! Yippee Ronnie’s AU! Thanks for being my friend for so long,,to talk about Fawful and all that stuff y’know? I’ll be cheering you on to complete the story qwq your Fawful is always so nice to my OCs when we crossover khskdjh also...pet the Reddo!

Eee yay now it’s @snuffydoo Fawful and his AU title I totally made up on the spot! I know you don’t really have a name for that kind of thing and it doesn’t have to be canon but I hope you think it’s cute anyways haha! I had a lot of fun drawing this one!! It’s so stylized! AND IT HAS DIMMY (I enjoy your Dimmy artstyle sm) but I don’t draw Spamton very often kjhskgh

Heheee yeah hey it’s @cammiluna Fawful from Immortal Fool! Before you say anything YES I’m aware he’s got the new design since it’s near the end of the comic, you released the page that featured said new design while I was already working on this drawing xD So whoops! I just wanted to give appreciation to your comic series that you continued despite everything, and well...I know I haven’t shown much progress on it, I also want to make a comic series...so you’ve inspired me a lil :D

Deep down here there’s a little AU by @aliencatwafers which features Fawful in the sewers! With the little baby bros!! You’re a very insightful and inspiring writer with plenty of neat headcanons and ideas for the bean! Ik you mostly draw in pencil but I took the colors from your submissions to Fawful month this year and used em here! Hope it looks cool!

This little gremlin here with the two moms is Fawful from @bean-n-shroob ask blog! He looks very silly and unhinged (in a good way) and I hope he’s having a good time since after BIS! I love how round your designs are and Fawf is no exception :D

Last but not least is this VERY soft Fawful from @localdealmaker​ and their AU, whose title I made up too (again doesn’t need to be canon or anything if you don’t want it to be, I just wanted to give every drawing a cute name ^^) I think yours was the most complicated to draw for me but I love how he looks, so squish!! Kaboo is cute too!

Is last fankid really the LAST fan children in your AU? Also, can you tell me their name? I'm curious...

Last fankid meaning is the last fanchild who has an IMPORTANT ROLE in my AU or the main character in a certain arc, so no. It's has the possibility that he isn't the last fanchild who inserted in this AU. Maybe i'll add another fanchild from V3 or even aside from V3? THH? SDR2? UDG? upupupu... just keep this in your mind...

For the last fankid name... oops, im afraid i cant tell you now.. but one of his kanji means a dragon..

New Project Announcement!

"Diamonds in the Dark" has been a huge comfort story for me. It has been going since I was 16 years old. I remember how much I felt bad for Fawful, and how I wanted to alter his story in Bowser's Inside Story. I also accidentally started shipping him with my alien OC, which went from being a silly joke to a ship that has been one of my biggest special interests of all time.

But the thing is... the more time has passed, more ambitious ideas have been popping in my head. I've been getting ideas to extend upon Vaphorians, give my OCs more depth etc.

And all of that made me realize how this story was growing beyond what Bowser's Inside Story originally was. So today, I'm here to announce a brand new project I've been working on through those past months...

And it's called "The Fawful Elite: Guiding Stars"! As you can tell, it has remained as a M&L story about Fawful and those other three folks.

Somwhere after BIS, Fawful finds himself in a different place called "the Sol Kingdom". While he didn't experience a complete memory loss, Fawful is unable to remember most things that happened in BIS. And on a top of that, he's constantly getting nightmares about scary dark spiders! Since nothing was helping, Fawful decides to set on a journey to find a garden with a very rare plant called "the Cosmic Plant". Its fruit is capable of healing any illnesses and curses, which our beanish man believed to have. During that long journey, Fawful meets new and familiar faces...

Now for some short character summaries!

1. Fawful

Most of us already know Fawful. He's an evil scientist, planning to conquer over the world! ... or does he? He would probably say that if he remembered what happened to him in the first place.

Fawful is an energetic beanish man with a huge self-confidence. Which could also lead him into potential dangerous situations. He loves to taunt and torment his enemies, but can get easily furious if something goes slightly wrong.

Despite everything he says, Fawful is actually pretty anxious about this situation. And all of that makes him feel a llittle lonely... but no, he's perfectly fine on his own! ... right?

2. Norin

A sassy Vaphorian with powerful magical abilities, who's also looking for the Cosmic Plant in order to heal his own "curse". Aside from their plans to travel through universe after obtaining the fruit, they don't like explaining why they need it. Would those plans change after meeting a strange beanish man?

And while she wasn't so fond of Fawful at first, the more the two spoke, the more Norin started to geniuinely like him and see him as a friend. But who knows if it won't blossom into something more?

Norin is usually pretty chill compared to Fawful. He enjoys pranking other people and, just like his beanish companion, loves to taunt them. This Vaphorian has a softer side to her though... and I'm not talking about her cat-like behavior she tries to hide almost everytime. They're very compassionate towards people they deeply trust.

Norin is a huge bot maniac, and loves seafood more than anything. His magic powers allow him to control any type of liquid, and ice.

3. Merry

A short beanish woman who rivals with Fawful. They go way back... the two, along with Favalis, knew each other for a good while. They even worked underneath Cackletta. However, Merry got upset by how Fawful began to act more bossy and surperior towards her and Favalis, which caused the other two to go their own ways... for a few years.

During the story, the two are also looking for the Cosmic Plant. Because of a childhood accident, Merry didn't know who her biological family was. She wants to obtain the fruit so that she could remember who they were... and yet strangely, Fawful looks a lot like her...

Merry can be pretty chaotic, even more so than Fawful sometimes. It's not like she can't be pretty serious at times, however. She's not afraid to state her opinions on the matter, and is overprotective towards Favalis.

Merry enjoys playing baseball and video games. She uses her bat to throw bombs more easily, and possesses great strength for her height.

4. Favalis

A beanish of a few words. They come from Cackletta's family (their mother is Cackletta's younger sister), and she was also the one to teach them a lot of stuff about magic. They're usually seen accompanying Merry, and is responsible for telling Fawful a lot about ancient artifacts... and Vaphorians. Unlike Merry though, Favalis doesn't appear to be so upset with Fawful.

Favalis doesn't usually like talking about themself, which makes them appear more mysterious. They tend to avoid most people, and are usually pretty cold towards anyone they don't trust. On the other side, they're pretty talkative when they're around around their friends, enjoying exchanging some information about their interests.

However, Favalis almost doesn't think about themself... sure, they might have some goals. But for them, they're not as important as taking care of their friends...

Favalis is capable of using dark magic. They enjoy reading various books about its' history, or ancient artifacts. Favalis also enjoys drawing in the meantime.

So, here it is! There's a lot more stuff happening in the story, but I don't wanna go deep into that yet because I don't wanna spoil the entire thing in one post... and I'd definitely run out of space if anything lol. "Wow!" Hands clasp together in absolute, unmitigated delight, tucked beneath her chin, rosy eyes set all a-sparkle. She has always known that her sister is wonderful and radiant, of course, but it is nonetheless a joy to see her shine off the battlefield. "Minerva, you look amazing today!"

Unpinning her brooch from her sash, she holds up her black feather, parted now from its two golden companions... achingly familiar, that, but still she smiles as she holds it up.

"Did you know? If you meet lots of people and trade-- decorations, this year!-- then they'll send you home with a treat! Oh, Sister, you'll trade with me, won't you? Please?" After all, though she keeps the heart of the wish to herself, she has long dreamed of sharing these festive, joyous celebrations with her siblings -- brother and sister both. The stamp cards and vines of yesteryear remain preciously held in her box of treasures; this memory, too, she will cherish.

The sound of her voice was unmistakable –soft, a bit chirpy and unbelievably strong. Minerva knew it was her and as she turned to face her, she was surprised to see her little sister in a long dress, actually making her seem older than she actually was and remarkably beautiful, but that was already known by the red-haired Macedon princess. She bowed her head, sketched a smile and she caressed Maria's cheek with the back of her index finger, catching the enthusiasm of her tiny body.

“You look wonderful, like you always do, my little one” she softened her tone, observing the brooch in her hands: the black feather, a very curious combination for her, but in some way, it actually fit her quite well. She listened to her request and with a murmured laugh, she gently unhook the string of pearls from her dress, inspecting it for a short moment, before turning her gaze to Maria.

“How could I say no to you?” she chuckled with a soft smirk upon her lips, handing over the brooch with care and placing a hand over hers. “Here, I’m sure you already met so many people from the monastery” she nodded, leaving her hand rest for a little longer, “Your deserved treat will come very soon!” she teased her with  mocking expression, noticing a familiar figure looming around the dance area.

“Have you seen Michalis too?”

The warmth of the teacup radiates through its container, as pretty as it is imperiled in this hectic celebration (she thinks she even heard the crackle of Thoron earlier..?). In Maria's hands, at least, it finds a bastion against the chaos, its contents rippling slightly with each step, but never spilling.

"Mm...!" And although it is not meant for her, she can still enjoy the wafting scent: mint tea, crisp and clean, and as near to the peppermint blend they'd shared outside the dream.

"Hello, Professor! Are you thirsty? I brought you some tea!" Fondness sets in the corners of her eyes; she lays the cup down, the black feather she'd tucked between her fingers laid beside it without a word. In like manner to his kindness back then, as she remembers it: subtle, though not nearly as poignant. Her hand darts back, the back of her knuckles pulled to her lips and her laughter pinned between them.

"Just because I wanted to, hee hee. I hope you're having fun tonight!"

The pleasant scent of mint invades his quiet little reprieve. For all his enthusiasm on the dance floor, he desperately needed a break to recharge. His table isn't too far out of the way; tucked away just enough so he can still enjoy the festivities around him without being roped into any himself.

"Maria! What a pleasure to see you again," Laslow beams, carefully picking up the downy-soft feather. "How'd you know I needed a cup? Please, join me. Rather lonesome drinking tea all by myself, no?"

While the tea cools, he affixes the feather to his brooch and removes a crystal. "This one's almost as bright as your smile! And I am--there's dancing and friendship aplenty. What else can a guy ask for?"

Fingers wrap around his teacup. Pleasant warmth radiates off the porcelain. "And what of you, Maria?"

"... ...Professor Selena." The greeting comes with an understated dip of the head, and perhaps a beat too long of hesitance (the consequence of locking the address 'Dame' behind her teeth). Another empty beat passes as the Altean tries to gauge whether her appearance is tolerable, at the least; thinking that maybe it is, her posture eases slightly.

Fidgeting uselessly with her hands, she eventually turns up her brooch, the shape and sound of a bell: pure and gentle, and entirely unsuited to her. Earlier the mage had thought for a fleeting moment to bring her a glass of water, or perhaps even something to eat as a gesture of amicability in earnest, but given how they met... needless to say, she quickly reconsidered.

"If... if you're collecting these, too..." Her throat feels dry. "W, would you like to trade...?" A trade. The first she has asked for this night, rather than simply giving pieces of her away. Perhaps it is selfish of her, to ask for some sort of amicability, failing the courage to ask for friendship.

Selena remembers the girl who hid herself in shadows, who spoke quiet—like whispers—and who fought and outlived the Fluorspar (so she recalls, at least). Months ago, they had met in unreality, and they had not spoken again since.

“Yes, Katarina?”

All the same, they cross paths again, here in the monastery’s ballroom. There is no illusion, no deceit, no sacrifice or ultimatum. There is just people—including them—at a gathering, all with the intention of enjoying themselves.

The other has something to say, she can tell, and she waits patiently for her words (she remembers Andrei, how Katarina had backed down). With patience, the girl presents her bell, asking for a trade, and Selena smiles.

“Of course,”—and here, she accepts the bell, then taking her own string of pearls and placing it gently into the student’s hand. Selena has no way of knowing every thought in the other’s head, but as much as she is able, she would like to make things good for her; easier, at least. Her smile, though soft, is genuine.

“Thank you, Katarina.” I am wishing you the best.

Saihara Family

Both Ayame and Shinki were named by Kaede. Because I have a head canon where between Shuichi and Kaede, Kaede will be the one who (already) had a list of names inside her brain that she'll give to their baby. Shuichi just sweatdropped at her 😅

Meanwhile Koharu was named by Shuichi, since Kaede was the one who persuaded him, yeah. She named their 2 children so Shuichi must be the one who named their youngest children! ....She thought

Momota Family

Kaito was the one who named all of his and Maki's children. Though before he do so, he always asked Maki's opinion first. I think Maki is the type who disagree first at name that kinda weird in her opinion, such as at the moment when they named Kaima and Mako.

But Kaito just "Kaima means Kaito and Maki's child! Meaning our child! Maki roll! Our C H I L D !!"

Or "Makiko suits her! Cuz I think our daughter will really looks like you, Maki!" And turns out, Kaito was right all along, Mako did really resembles Maki.

....And so, Maki just decided to agree with her husband.

Ouma Family

Himiko, Himiko was the one who named Shokichi and Yuno. Because when they discussed about what name that they'll give to their baby.

"What about Monkey D. Sasuke Uchiha Kurosaki Ouma? I think it'll be so cool!!"

"....Why do I fell in love and decided to married you, Kokichi?"

That leads her to discuss with her mother instead. Not forgetting Kokichi who was scolded by his mother in law
