All the people working on this zine are amazingly talented, so you really don't wanna miss out on this one.

A little snippet of one of my pieces for @flashfamevents upcoming zine! This fic was fun and silly to write and I can't wait for folks to read it. Pre-orders start July 31st! And keep an eye out for a sneak peek at my second piece, I'm really excited about that one.

Jai raised an eyebrow at the slide. ‘Why We Should be Superheroes’ was in bold text on the screen. Irey leaned over his shoulder to hit the space bar, causing the text to fade out and the slide to spin onto the next. “You went ham on the transitions,” he observed. “Oh, just wait.” Irey was clearly grinning, there was no need for Jai to check.

Here's a small teaser of my fic for the Relay Race: A Flash Zine! Pre-orders open on July 31st so keep an eye out on @flashfamevents to keep up to date!

The zine will be for the benefit of the charity ADDA whose mission is empower adults with ADHD to discover and reach their potential.

“Another commercial? Grife! How long has it been, when is the show gonna continue?!” Jenni complained. When Bart didn’t answer her, Jenni looked at him. He was staring at the screen and gripping his knees tight, the amount of crackling frenetic energy that was coming from him was a thousand times greater than the ancient television.  Jenni turned her head and paid attention to what Bart was fixated on - a fast paced commercial paired with a bombastic narrator who, with all the seriousness of a high stakes deathmatch, announced a videogame competition. Jenni listened as his cartoonish voice urged that it was a once in a lifetime opportunity and the prizes were ‘out of this world!’ complete with bright stationary graphics that spun into existence on the screen before dive-bombing into suicide. Jenni laughed at it - it was so lame and it had the cadence of their publicists back home when they got antsy for something to do, but when she looked back at Bart the comical edge vanished.  He looked terrible with his lips drawn down, eyes brassy instead of golden. “Cuz? Are you okay?”  That snapped Bart out of his gloom, his eyes still flat as he leaned back into the sofa. “M’fine. It’s just the Megademon Championship. Really wanted to compete but Max said ‘no’ and I gotta do what Max says!”

Hey y'all- so while most of you know that I'm one of the mods for Relay Race: A Flash Zine from @flashfamevents- I haven't much talked about what else I've been doing behind the scenes. Above are previews of the two pieces I've been working on in the background, a Flash Museum brochure and map, and a fanfiction focusing on Johnny Chambers (and his relationship with Libby Lawrence) titled, He Ran All the Way. If you order the Zine-Only Physical bundle you'll not only get a copy of the zine with my fic but also a copy of the brochure!

First off our stretch goals! We have some lovely washi-tape, as well as two amazing posters.

We have 5 different bundle options for you, 3 physical bundles and 2 digital ones. Our full bundle features everything that's been made for this zine!

Our partial bundle only features the flat merch, which also sadly means it isn't eligible for the washi tape stretch goal.

We also have a zine-only bundle for those of you who are only interested in the art and fics. This still includes the wonderful Flash Museum map print and all digital merch!
