It’s totally common to scroll through hundred of sunset pictures for just one drawing

The color of the background is from my memory and the experience of fight a Lynel in the game. that’s how I paint this drawing

The blue ones convey the calming feeling and fresh air up top. 

On the ref, With the light spectrum, I really like that the light hitting the clouds is yellow. they connected to the mood and condition of feeling calm and tranquil. It’s nice

Where my body cannot go, my mind can travel far. - Apparently a single pencil can draw a line which spans 35 miles (not sure who or how that was tested!). - Given the number of pencils I have, I'd say that's enough to go on quite the adventure! - Tomorrow I'll be running the first in a series of online live mandala workshops. There will be a breath based mindfulness exercise which leads into a mandala drawing using minimal materials, and the connecting of dots and circles throughout the universe. - I made this drawing to remind myself of what can be done with just a pen and a pencil and a piece of paper, as these will be the only materials needed for the workshop. - The workshop is FREE (though donations are welcome). Very grateful to have spent a little time outside the country before this even though it was madness to come home to. I am also so so grateful my parents made it home from Austrailia (just in time!!) before flights were cancelled. They were supposed to spend two more weeks there ~ it is definitely a bummer, but I am just happy they are safe! Reminding myself to be grateful for the little things and live there instead of in what I cannot change ~ grateful this time is giving the universe a chance to breathe. Truly feels like the world is resetting right now. Story Time: Tonight I went to a Drawing Salon at the @mfahouston Rienzi. I thought we would just sketch some of the paintings or whatever. I wasn’t 100% sure what I was going to draw or do. I just wanted to be there. We were told a model in costume would be coming if anyone wanted to sketch her. 😬 I was nervous. I’ve never drawn a model before. The model got there, nearly everyone faces her and I’m like ok, I can try this. I’ll go slow. Nope. She’s going to change poses every 5 to 10 minutes 😧 I’m kinda panicking. I don’t really draw. Not for real draw! I can’t sketch a real person that is sitting in front of me in 5 minutes! Then I remembered how @janedavenport keeps saying it’s ok if it’s messy. It doesn’t have to be perfect. I remembered how @amygardnerdean said in one of the @jerrysartarama Live episodes that, you are just drawing shapes. I remind myself that the @derwentartofficial Graphitint pencils that @opheliastaton introduced me to are water soluble and I can soften any hard lines later. So I took a deep breath and just dived in. It was a super uncomfortable experience for me but I’m so glad I did it. This pushed me to try something new, and to remember (and finally put to practice) all the amazing things the wonderful artist I have mentioned keep saying and teaching. It sinks in eventually. Were my results perfect. Nope. But I’m proud of what I managed. How about some Raya on a Sunday morning @rayanizhoni Yesterday i was in a HUGE artshop, no Brushpens, barely any drawing pens and a couple packs of promarkers.... In an entire expensive mass chain artstore. But i did find this little book on drawing with Sharpies, something I've done for ages and i follow artists who do. The book was completely useless and a gimmick but it reminded me i hadn't drawn in Sharpie in ages and i hadn't drawn tooned in ages either.
