Casual ableist language is absolutely an issue worth addressing but maybe instead of focusing on people saying 'stupid' and 'idiot' we could look at how (non-psychotic) people throw around 'delulu' and then are shocked when people who have delusions talk about them, and people on YouTube and tiktok and really just in real life consistently using 'psychopath' and 'narcissist' as shorthand for 'evil person'

tonight i discovered that blackening your mind in the SMEN storylet may kill you, but until you leave said storylet it will not in fact send you to the boatman. you can just. sit there. with 8 wounds. by all accounts alive and well until you leave and die on the spot.

tonight i also completely definitely coincidentally discovered that if an acquaintance sends you a life-saving healing tonic before you leave said storylet you can walk away at 7 wounds. alive and well. copiously bleeding to death but otherwise completely unscathed. no boatmen in sight.
