Yandere!Renata Glasc X Reader 2/2
Part 1
Tumblr media
MC Pronouns: They/Them (but very little to mentions)
Pairing: Some Sevika x Reader and... well... very abusive and unilateral Renata Glasc x Reader
Content Warning: Non-con drug use, kidnapping, violence description, death (not yours)
A/N: I actually thought I posted this but then I saw it in my drafts when someone called me out and freaked tf out. I'm so sorry to everyone who was waiting, btw if I dont post the last part of something you can totally remind me of it or my bad memory will forget it bc the drafts part of tumblr are out of my sight (thanks ADHD)
~Read with caution, stay aware there might be warnings that I missed and if you see some, PLEASE let me know so I can add it to the list :)
Tumblr media
After some people found out about you and Sevika, the ones who weren't scared of you for being "Glasc's protected" now were far away from you because of the 'Scary Lady'
Walking in Zaun could be a dangerous adventure, any wrong turn could be a death sentence
Far from what they thought, you didn't needed protection, living here your entire life gave you some skills that new-unadvised-comers would literally die for
But you didn't complain, it was good to walk home after a tiring day without anyone messing with you
Renata never made you stay past your shift, much less so late, and all the rare moments that happened she would always send someone or escort you to your house herself
This was an unspoken rule betweem both of you that was being flawlessly followed... at least until today
Miss Glasc was so occupied with paperwork that when you told her how late it was she simply dismissed you with a flicker of hand
Zaun's fog was more intense than usual, the harsh cold was slowly taking all the machines warmth away, so the livid streets where almost empty
When she was filled with work it was for the greater good to not bother her, principally for something as trivial as "I don't want to walk home alone", so you simply wished her a good night and left
The walk home was safer than when there was a whole bunch of people in the streets, but any moving shadow meant that your eyes needed to be more attentive
Your house had a brand new door since Sevika made sure to punch your old one just to demonstrate how fragile it was, so it also had a set of new keys that you still didn't quite knew how to sort out
You only stopped your tries when you heard a noise at the begging of your house alley where the principal streets met and jumped when someone grabbed your shoulders
"Hey, you're looking at the wrong way" Sevika's voice rang with a laugh when she realized how scared you where once you started trying to punch her
Apparently she got away from work just to walk you home but you were taking too long so she finished whatever she had to do for her boss, got food and now you both were sitting at the small stairs in front of your door while eating and talking.
You had completely forgot about how tired you where and didn't remember where you put your keys at the moment you finished.
Sevika was again laughing and looking around to see if you dropped it around when three figures appeared at the entrance of your street
They also tried to take their chance a million times against her, last time one of them made a scratch that drawn blood enough for you to be concerned with
Your girlfriend knew them, she knew they where just some street gang that robbed any unattended person and did some of Silco's dirty jobs when she was away
As always, none of them talked, only stalked toward Sevikas direction and smiled when she growled at them as a warning
You didn't understood the gravity of the situation until Sevika pushed you away at the same time that other people appeared closing the alley exit
It was in a blink of an eye that Sevika's mechanical arm started glowing and the first punch was thrown , but not in her direction, in yours
You loosed your conscious for a few seconds and only got up when you heard Sevika screaming at someone, you tried to move but three other guys were holding you in place making you watch Sevika trying to fight her way to you
One by one they where falling down in pools of blood but you could see that her energy and shimmer was also being drained since they broke the reservoir on her shoulder
You tried to fight, you tried to move, but they were stronger than you, your body shivered when she felt to the ground
It was over to her, she didn't got up when they punched her in the face again and you thought you were allucinating when you heard your bosses voice
Your scalp was hurting but still you managed to look up and see Renata making her way through the crowd of brutes, her smirk only flattered when she saw you and a low warning growl could be heard behind her mask
"I told you to not hurt them" the woman said while holding your face when they let go of you taking a few steps back "What did they did to you sweet pet? It's not gonna hurt anymore and they will pay, I promise"
Your eyebrow and mouth was bleeding from the punches they throwed at you and your head hurted from the impact with ground and with how hard they where holding your hair
When Renata words hitted their ears and they realized their head was in line the rest of them moved back, trying to find ways to escape
It was more than clear that any brusque movement was going to make Miss Glasc snap
You smiled at her, she always knew when to appear, when to help you but it got you of guard when she forced your mouth open with two pills down your throat.
Even through the mask you could imagine her wicked smile when she looked at the ones that tried to escape on the other end and moved her arm, knocking them out with the pile of bodies that she stacked
You started to feel numb to the point where you couldn't move.
Renata gently laid you down to finish her service, and with only one twist, her entire mechanical arm opened into a claw that elongated far enough to pierce one by one of the ones trying to escape
The sound of bodies pilling on top of each other and heads brutally hitting the ground when she receded her arm into its normal made you wanna throw up, but not even your stomach could make such a big move without your entire body having that awful freezing numbed felling
When Renata turned and started making her way towards you Sevika slowly got up from the ground spitting blood on one of the corpses that was next to her
"Don't you- Don't you fucking dare to to-touch-" She tried to speak but with every word a bloodied cough came instead of complete sentences
Renata tsked with a smirk stopping in the middle of the track and turned to face your girlfriend
"Or what? You couldn't even protect yourself, imagine them." She said slowly "You. Don't. Deserve. Them"
You couldn't move and all you could feel was the eerie cold air and your heart clenching when Sevika's stiff body was throw in front of you
In a fraction of seconds the woman modified arm extended again but this time to wrap around Sevika's throat
You could see the little oxygen that was left in her body leaving slowly while she still tried to fight the woman
"It's ok now darling, I'm here with you... No one else will try to hurt you or dare to take you away from me" Renata said while holding you in her arms, taking you away from your lover and from your life.
What once was her bright grey eyes - where you normally could see the entirety of a loving soul - was now unwelcoming to any kind of care.
She was dead.
Renata's plan may have been much more grotesque than what she wanted but at least, you where finally safe and with eyes only for her

Hi, it's me again.
Valeria, Laswell, Price and Farah.
Thank you very much! I'll wait anxiously, and I'm sorry for getting so excited. <3
Hey! It's alright, but please remember my rules for the future! Also, I've never watched Arcane, I don't know Jinx in the slightest, I only really had your explanation to go off of, so sorry if it's not very good ^^;
Price, Valeria, Farah and Laswell with a Reader like Jinx (Arcane)
Price: He can read people fairly well, so you trying to hide something from him, regardless of what it could be, doesn’t evade him. He won’t force you to tell him whatever it is you’re hiding from him, but he likes to think of himself as a trustworthy person, telling you that you can just say whatever it is you wanna say. Even so, if you end up not telling him anything, then that’s alright as well, he won’t pry. As long as it doesn’t include anything that could change the course of a mission, of an important one, he’ll leave you be, for the most part. However, you liking to blow things up would concern him. Although you may not be the first person he’s met like this, with Soap being another person with an affinity for explosives, he would have his concerns. However, as long as you only hurt the enemy, he’s quite alright with you blowing things up, sometimes. There’s a fine line between an enemy KIA, and unnecessarily destroying your surroundings. Will give you an earful if you burn too many buildings, blow too many of them up. While he may be able to appreciate your abilities with technology, knowing fully well that some ingenuity is needed in that field, he hopes you won’t use your intelligence against him and his men. You’re more than welcome to use your contraptions against enemies, as long as they don’t harm your allies. You may be a very pretty person with your long, blue hair, but that doesn’t mean Price won’t be concerned with it. After all, it could get stuck somewhere and would need to be cut off. Don’t get me wrong, you’re gorgeous, but there’s a reason why people in the military tend to have shorter hair.
Valeria: She takes a liking to you immediately. You’re a threat, that much is obvious, with your interesting personality. It doesn’t particularly matter to her what you did in the past, as long as you take back your future and make the present count. Won’t bother you too much with questions regarding where you’ve been and what happened to you, she has other things to worry about. Your contraptions are of interest to her: Small things that can either walk to where they’re needed or stick to something. As long as you get out of their range of effectiveness soon enough, she’s willing to give you more materials to work with, as long as you work for her. Funds your shenanigans in general, as long as it benefits her and her cartel you’ll never run out of anything to work with. She’s not exactly a morally correct person, so you could commit literal war crimes under her watch and she wouldn’t mind. You wanna use dangerous gas to kill the enemy? Sure, go right ahead, it doesn’t matter to her since she doesn’t plan on being caught. You’ll likely get some special privileges over time as well. More quickly than other people, at the very least. While you may not look like how one would imagine someone working for the cartel would look, she certainly doesn’t mind, thinking you to be fairly pretty as well. If you need some nail polish, she can give you the best ones out there, no hesitation. Again, she’s taken a real liking to you and wants this work relationship to go well. However, you’re just about the only exception with that, Valeria doesn’t care too much about everyone else. But you stand out, so there’s that.
Farah: Although she may know that everything is fair in war, she will actively discourage you from using some of your contraptions. If it’s illegal, if it will make you and her look like war criminals, then she will not let you use it. Her country may be at war, but she’s got principles and still needs to show the world that Urzikstan is not a dangerous place. So yeah, you might not wanna use the worst of the worst when it comes to fighting around her. Other than that, she can appreciate your work, though, and what you have been doing for her. A well placed bomb can make all the difference, after all, especially when someone, who knows what they’re doing, is using it. As long as it isn’t too bad, you have her support. Don’t make yourself known, though, the wrong people might find out who you are and might have a field day with that. However, she might scold you for using unethical means of killing someone. Farah is very connected with her people, and thus knows a lot about each and every single one of them. She won’t pry either when it comes to your past, but she will gently ask about it occasionally when something seems to be bothering you. Again, she won’t force anything out of you, but will show that she does care a great deal about you. In her eyes, too, you are absolutely gorgeous. She’s not as strict with long hair as Price, for example. There are no regulations for that sort of thing in her liberation force. If you let her, and if you’re especially close, she might braid your hair as well. As mentioned previously, she does care about her people, and it’s with those small things that she shows she’s there for them.
Laswell: Oh, she would not like you very much at first. Her work is usually comprised of not being found out, you do the opposite with your trademark bombs. You’ll butt heads a lot at first, especially since Laswell tries to keep it quiet whenever she can. It would take a while for you to get along, largely since you both know what you want. However, you’re good with technology, she gives you that much. You can be used for all sorts of things regarding that. Make a small contraption that allows you to get inside a room without the need for a keycard, she can appreciate that and will congratulate you on making something useful that is quiet. It would take something like that for the both of you to slowly be getting along. Laswell doesn’t mind you having a sad past too much. If you really feel like it, and once you’ve grown close, you can talk about it. Get it off your chest if you really need it. Might either listen to you or give you some advice, it entirely depends on what you ask of her, or what it seems like you might need at the moment. Though, another reason why you might clash at first would be your appearance. You’re pretty, don’t get me wrong, but long blue hair isn’t exactly subtle, you’ll be found out fairly quickly, you’ll be recognised wherever you go. She won’t force you to dye your hair, but you likely won’t be going out in the field too much when a disguise is needed, something like that will be left to Laswell. You, however, can plant whatever it is that is needed nearby, make a distraction by blowing something up, for example.

MOSS' NOTES . . .  moss is really sorry that this took this long to come around and finish, but hope you like it dear 🩰 anon, and that you haven’t blacklisted moss for taking too long
Tumblr media Tumblr media
it amazed renata how put together and unflinching you were when out in public, she cannot recall seeing anyone as serious as you under immense stress. you never lost your touch, never in front of a crowd or under the pressure of the higher-ups. it didn't matter if two guys, taller, heavier, and much stronger than you started a fight, you were relentless and never panicked. you were extremely polite, not losing your cool even when somebody attacked your personality and ego, keeping a serious face on and sorting them out accordingly.
but it was different when only she was around, then you weren’t so straightforward and your words were just as shaky as your breathing was. sometimes your heart skipped a beat when she got too close to you, she knew it when your breath hitched as she cornered you.
“what is it, cat got your tongue?” she asks as she leans on her desk, smirking when you tense up even more. your voice is almost inaudible as you stutter, “i... i’m sorry, i am just trying to uhm... my notes are a mess ma’am-“ you try to protest but renata doesn’t give you time to finish and interrupts your rambling with a sigh.
“you don't have to worry about those right now,” she starts, taking away your notebook full of yellow post-it notes, and setting it aside on the far corner of the table. "and besides you can't get anything done by being all tense," you look at her in confusion when she stands up from her chair, coming around and trapping you between her and the desk.
she looks at you endearingly, her left prosthetic hand coming up to loop around your middle. renata pushes a strand of hair out of your face, smiling before her head falls onto your chest. "let's help you relax, okay?" she murmurs, her breath damp and hot against your neck. she leaves a trail of sweet kisses down to your collarbone and urges you to lay down on the desk.
you watch, breath hitching and heart pounding as renata's hand snakes under your skirt and strips down the lacy underwear that you were wearing. she then steps between your legs, pocketing your panties in her vest's pocket when she leans down and kisses your roughly, swallowing your moan as her hand grazes against the length of your calf.
a little hesitant when her lips move from your mouth to your neck again, your hand reaches out to wrap around her, head tilting with your lips parting to let out small whimpers. renata's full lips glide against you, sucking your skin and spinning your head, so much so that you don't even notice when her left hand takes a hold of both of yours by the wrists, and pins them above your head with a warning to keep them there.
you cry out when renata lifts her knee, a gentle pressure doing little to relieve the ache that settles in your clit as sharp teeth scrape along your jaw. "be a good girl, okay? keep those pretty hands there for me." she says in a sweet tone but you know it is nothing less than a warning. you know she doesn't want to repeat herself, that's why you are nodding your head so fervently as her mouth travels straight to your cunt, your clit pulsing in time with your thudding heart as it peaks out from between your drenched folds.
renata licks your slit slowly but firmly, the tip of her tongue darting into your core to taste the sweetness that lingers within. the feeling causes you to gasp in surprise which makes renata smile, her thumb stroking over the throbbing nub gently. your eyes flutter shut and you groan softly at the sensations coursing through your body, and she laughs huskily at your desperate reaction.
"you act so calm and polite," she mutters against your slick lower lips before straightening her spine and further opening your legs before continuing, "make some noise for me, yeah pretty thing?" you blush at her suggestion, eyes traveling behind her and glue on the door. it's closed, but it's not locked and you cannot decide if it makes you terrified or even more excited. surely somebody finding you in such a position with the head of the glasc industries could do both good and bad to your reputation, but it shouldn't matter when renata glasc herself is threatening you with a good time.
you complete her previous request of being loud when she slips two fingers inside of your tight heat, without a warning, without too many pampering words to prepare you for what is coming. but you cannot find yourself complaining, more like complying with it as she moves her fingers and you moan her name out, your tone pitching high. the sudden stretch is unfamiliar, your walls fluttering and clenching as your back arches up and your hips buck into her hand. renata's digits curl inside you, hitting the spongy sweet spot hidden inside you just as her other hand unbuttons your shirt.
the grip you were now holding onto the desk under you tightens and you swallow hard, knuckles staining white as the older woman roughly fucks into you. the palm of her hand bumps your clit with each thrust, edging you closer and closer. and the more she pulls out and slams home with every flick of her wrist, the more sensitive you become, your body tensing with each movement. you're not sure whether it was your own desire, or hers urging you to cum faster, but you could wait until you hit your peak.
but after a few seconds of blissful oblivion and a couple of minutes of waiting, you couldn't take it anymore as your thighs start trembling and you cry out, the muscles clenching and releasing at the same time. renata grins triumphantly as she grabs your hips and forces you further down, driving deeper into your heat. you bite your lip hard as your nails dig into the wooden desk, making marks and leaving bruises. you let out a strangled moan and your body goes limp, collapsing onto the desk.
"good girl, aren't you beautiful?" she whispers as she presses a kiss to the crook of your shoulder, running her long fingernails over the sensitive skin. your back arches once more, your toes curling and you whine quietly. she moves inside of you with gentle strokes, helping you off of the drug-like induced high before pulling out and letting you pant in exhaustion, your head falling backward and colliding with the table. she removes her hand from your pussy and you whimper softly. you feel her shift away from you and you open your eyes, frowning confusedly when she disappears from your line of sight.
"calm down now, i am here, my girl." she whispers from above, you find some strength in your muscles to move a little, your head tilting up. you let go of the edge of the desk, nudging your hand against her, trying to get her to hold it while you gather yourself mentally.
she gives you a small chuckle, before pressing a gentle peck to your sweat-covered forehead and taking your awaiting hand into hers. renata offers you her help in getting your clothes tidied up so the two of you can get home but you don’t pay too much attention to her words, rather letting yourself doze off a little.
there hasn’t been a time where the two of you could be alone like this in the past few weeks with all these business deals rolling in, one after another without a pause. you wanted to bath in the bliss of renata’s warmth and the comfortable feeling that pooled between your legs a little while longer before letting it be washed away at home alongside all the stress that built up in you.

How did Ania feel when she discovered Jadus faked their own death? (Since you mentioned she felt a lot of grief over their demise)
Oh stars, I think this would not go well on Ania's part.
She was so sure and almost believed the Keeper and the Watcher confirming Jadus' death and Dominator explosions. Marr, on the other hand, doesn't believe they were dead afterall. She was aware some people won't miss Jadus because of their views towards the Sith but that never affected her.
Throughout the chapter, she grieves for Jadus. She hide this from everyone except Marr, she confided to Marr about her conflicted feelings and they understand her. She was so sure that Jadus was really gone--like it made her lose a piece of herself with them, coming to the conclusion that perhaps she did loved Jadus. They were important to her.
At first, she had thought this was a bad dream but alas, it was a reality with the worst fears come true.
Until that day she saw the mysterious figure in a confrontation on a planet near Arctus system... The figure was all too familiar to her as she pointed her blaster at them, demanded them to reveal their identity as they unmasked to her--the shock began to set in upon seeing Jadus standing by there.
All she felt was shock, anger, upset and hurt. Distraught by the fact that Jadus was alive all this time and didn't tell her--all she wanted to do was to lash out at them, resulting in Jadus to restrain and calm Ania down with reasurrance that they were alive. "They (the Intelligence) told me you were dead, I ALMOST believed them. Why didn't you tell me?!"
Jadus told her they couldn't tell her because of the vision they planned out--they wanted to make it to work. To change the Empire for the best, to weaken and remove the Emperor and Acina from power with the use of Eradicators onto them.
And the thing is, Marr was the only one observed and listened in to the entire conversation through the earpiece comms.
sorry this is the best I can write up in thoughts--it's not as perfect as everyone's lengthy and detailed answers on oc thoughts.

I hc that Sevika is a mouth breather. Because the shape of her nose can cause her to have trouble breathing, and her tooth gap being spaced out, makes her teeth pry her mouth open.
Imagine the tiniest snores and if she has good dreams, she has quiet breathy chuckles. (Feel like writing something short for it, this will be canon to the story im writing with chembaroness reader x Sevika)
Coming home late from another slumbering day, Finn had you walking back and forth like the fucking North and South pole meanwhile he sat on his golden throne with pretty whores and sputtering literal shit that makes you question Renata's judgment and not killing dead weight like he puts on the Chem-council.
Locking the door behind you, you take your gear off and trudge to your love's bed. You stood quietly in the doorway, the rise and fall of her soft chest, the tiny snores, and snorts. Sevika looked like she was built by the gods hands, her face plush mouth agape.
Your girlfriend was perfect, with the biggest grin you snap out of it and change into sleepwear. You climb into bed carefully not to stir awake your Goddess, barely in bed, she instinctively grasped you close to her and laid herself on your chest.
Sevika melts more and in an instant falls asleep. You pet her head softly, humming lowly, the warmth on her body created a wave of drowsiness over you, your lids closed you felt yourself drift.
The comfort of your wife's warm breath coming from her mouth and the cute snores lure you into your safe heaven.
*morning*
"Baby...why do you have many photos and videos of me asleep? It's fucking creepy." Sevika looked at one of your files on your gallery, you plucked the device from her calloused hand.
"Cause it's adorable and I got a locked file for more...confidential information." You gave her a short glimpse of the other night when you topped her, looking helpless and babbling with synthetic cum leaking out of her. Many other photos and videos from many nights you made love.
Sevika's face flushed darkly, she lifted you onto her shoulder and said;
"A new week, which means I'll be in charge until next Monday. You're gonna have a long week, sugar."
You had rough and steamy sex in the shower.

Next Upload Date: September 22nd
Act 1: Chapter Fourteen - A Surprise at the Gala
Artwork of the reader’s dress is by @rennydoesart my editor and bestie 💕 Thank you so much for taking the time to make this!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Warnings: Boring upper-class conversations, Vi reappears, mentions of manipulation
Summary: It’s time for the Gala and you’re happy to spend time with Renata. You enjoy your time with her until you’re called away by your uncle. You’re shocked when you find your ex-lover standing in front of you.
Tumblr media
“Are you good?” Ekko calls over to you, “My hands sting like hell! Do you always grab a blade like that?!”
“Are you good?” Ekko calls over to you, “My hands sting like hell! Do you always grab a blade like that?!”
“Yeah, I’m good! You managed to land a well-placed gash!” You shift to grab more gauze, “And, yes! But, my pain tolerance is high!”
“Or maybe you shocked your hands too many times when we were kids and got nerve damage!” Ekko retorts and you laugh. A shadow falls over you and you look up to see your Uncle Cassius. In his hand is a tiny vial of Digitalis, and he holds it out to you. You give him a grateful smile and take it from him. You uncork it, knocking back the bitter liquid, and sighing in relief as a warmth flows through you.
“Your fighting style has improved immensely, Ekko.” Uncle Cassius proudly claps him on the shoulder, “You gave your sister an excellent wound.”
“She gave me one right back.” Ekko chuckles and points at the closing slash on his arm. You scoff and roll your eyes at his modesty.
“Take the fucking compliment, you dummy!” You shout as you stand up, “You’ve improved and I’m proud of you, Kiko.” You ruffle his locks and Ekko smacks your hand away.
“I know I’ve improved.” Ekko grumbles, “I don’t see a reason to get so excited about it.” He crosses his arms. You raise an eyebrow and give him an appalled look.
“Who are you, and what have you done with my brother?” You gasp playfully.
“I’m sorry.” Ekko sighs, “I just… can’t believe you’re leaving today, Uncle Cassius. I’ve really had a great time learning from you and getting to know you.”
“I’ve enjoyed my time with you as well, Ekko. You’re a marvelous person with a talented mind. I’m overjoyed that I finally got to spend time with you.” Uncle Cassius grins, “But, alas, I need to make an appearance before the Gala tomorrow. After that, I must return to Noxus and resume my duties.”
“Oh yeah, the Gala.” Ekko gives you a smirk, “Are you ready to mingle with Piltover’s upper class?”
“Ugh, don’t remind me.” You groan, “The only plus side of this is Renata being my companion for the night.”
“Before Dawn and I leave, I have gifts for the both of you.” Uncle Cassius says, “If you’ll come with me to my apartment?” You nod your head and follow him up to his place. He stops outside and gives you two a mischievous grin before whistling. You and Ekko glance at each other in confusion when you hear two screeches. You both snap your heads up to see two hawks flying your way. They land on the railing in front of you and sit there patiently.
“The paperwork has gone through, so you’re both officially part of the family.” Uncle Cassius steps over to the bigger one, and it hops onto his hand, “Our family has protected Red-Tailed Hawks for centuries and they’ve protected us. They have a magic of their own, unknown to the masses, and it’s my pleasure to give each of you one.”
“We get our own hawks?!” Ekko squeals, making you giggle.
“Yes.” Uncle Cassius chuckles, “Let them choose you. The female’s name is Wind Shear, and her brother’s name is Night Stalker.” You look at the birds in interest and yelp when they suddenly take off towards you both. The male settles on your shoulder with a content chirp while the female does the same to your brother.
“Hello there, Night Stalker.” You coo and stroke his breast feathers. He bobs his head in greeting and you giggle.
“Thank you so much.” You smile at your uncle, glancing at Ekko to see him having a whispered conversation with Wind Shear.
“Don’t thank me yet, I have a few more things to give you.” Uncle Cassius says as he opens the door. You follow him in and wave at Dawn. Their things were already packed and placed by the door.
“Since you’re aristocracy now, it’s imperative that you have a form of passive protection. This is quite common to give out, but these have been tweaked.” Uncle Cassius pulls out a box and opens it to reveal a necklace and a ring.
“Enchanted jewelry?” Ekko questions as he’s handed the signet ring, “This is common in Noxian Houses?”
“Quite.” Dawn speaks up, “It is a tribal tradition that has evolved. The pieces should have some sort of protective enchant on them.”
“What are the enchantments?” You tilt your head. ‘I didn’t know that was possible… Which is dumb because I literally tear holes through space.’
“If I told you, you would fight with reckless abandon.” Uncle Cassius deadpans. You and Ekko laugh nervously knowing that it’s true.
“I have one last thing for you, Y/n.” Uncle Cassius motions to Dawn and she picks up a box on the table. She crosses the room and carefully hands it to you. You raise an eyebrow and glance at your uncle.
“What’s this?” You weigh the box in your hands. ‘It’s heavy, but light so it has to be some form of clothes.’
“Your dress for the Gala, Heiress Pyre.” Dawn smirks at you, “Don’t worry, your uncle is the one who chose it for you based on your taste in clothes.”
“I had it custom-made in Piltover using Noxian fabrics. I remembered you telling me about that elderly couple who gifted you with a few dresses. They were enthusiastic about making a dress for someone from Noxian Aristocracy.” Uncle Cassius explains sheepishly. ‘A dress made just for me.’ You think in awe. ‘For me.’
“How’d you get my measurements?” Confused, you put a hand on your hip. Night Stalker flutters his wings to rebalance himself and you whisper an apology to him.
“Jinx.” Uncle Cassius shrugs, “I asked her if she knew what size you wore and she gave me the whole list. Her only request was that whatever I get for you be red, and that was already the color I had in mind.”
“I should have known.” You chuckle to yourself.
A few minutes later, you and Ekko are walking with Cassius and Dawn to the Gateway. You informed the group that they were leaving and found a large crowd waiting to say goodbye. It was a mixture of Firelights and Furies, everyone was sad to see the pair go as they’ve become one of the family, especially after you and Ekko announced your adoption. The raging hangover you had after that night made you swear to never drink any alcohol Heather claimed to have made. Saying goodbye took a while as they went around to everyone, giving hugs and small pieces of advice on each individual’s fighting style. But, you and Ekko were waving them off with a sad smile ten minutes later. You’d be seeing them tomorrow, but that wouldn’t be the same.
~
A cool wind ruffles your hair as you wait for Renata to arrive and you silently thank Janna. You agreed to meet with Renata on the bridge and walk the rest of the way together. So, you decided to head there early and took some time to stop at the memorial and pay your respects. You always did so before crossing the bridge, as was a tradition since the attempted civil war.
Currently, you’re seated on the railing swinging your legs back and forth. Night Stalker is circling above you since he didn’t want to leave your side. Ekko was having the same issue with Wind Shear, so you chalked it up to the connection being new. Within a few moments, you’ll be accompanying Renata to the Gala. Your brief formal training will be put to the test and you have to pretend you like those people. You run a hand through your hair, feeling your horns, and you sigh. After proudly showing off in the Undercity, it felt strange to have them hidden by your hair again. ‘I won’t be able to hide them when they grow more, but we’ll cross that when we get there.’
You close your eyes and listen to the pained songs coming from the wealthy city. Now that your senses weren’t being dulled anymore, you can hear way more than a handful of Namestones. It irritates you that so many Brackern are in pain but you had to wait until the foundation was set. ‘I’ll set them free one of these days. I should be able to get all of the information about where they are from Viktor with this appearance.’ Your hand comes up to play with your necklace, running a finger over the smooth gemstone to soothe your nerves.
The sound of footsteps causes you to turn and smile at your companion. Renata, always the impeccable woman, was wearing her new white and gold suit. For once, to keep with the theme, she wasn’t wearing her signature magenta. Apparently, your uncle had sent her a formal letter detailing how an associate of the “Heiress of House Pyre” should be present around you. You had scolded your uncle for it, but even Renata had said it was the proper thing to do.
“Perfect timing as always.” You stand and approach her.
“Time is money.” Renata offers her arm and you rest a hand on her bicep, “You look stunning. Wearing real gold on a dress is quite the statement.” Renata hums and continues walking.
“I was not made aware of the dress until yesterday when they handed the box to me.” You sigh, glancing at the gold metalwork, “If I had a say in it, I wouldn’t be wearing someone’s life savings.”
“Well, being the Heiress of such an esteemed House requires you to dress the part.” You could hear the irritation in her voice. You force yourself to hold back a chuckle. ‘She hates not knowing things. She must've been pissed off when I told her instead of her knowing beforehand.’
“I was quite recently adopted into it, Ms.Glasc. Your informants were not wrong.” You placate her, “This information is meant to be a secret until tonight, and please… call me Y/n around this crowd... I’m sure you’re aware of separate identities.” You say lowly.
“Congratulations, Y/n. I’m sure our mutual interest will continue to flourish.” Renata gives you a wicked smirk that has you blushing. ‘I know she’s speaking of the Digitalis but that smirk speaks of other things.’ You nod your head and walk the rest of the way in silence.
The two of you reach a large mansion enclosed by a black iron gate. At the entrance stands four Enforcers and it makes your hand twitch. You take a deep breath and remind yourself that they won’t attack you and you shouldn’t attack them. ‘I’m worth protecting to them when I look like this. They won’t immediately turn me away… and I don’t need to put my knife through their skulls.’ An Enforcer steps in front of you and holds out their hand.
“Invitations, please.” The Enforcer waits for you to take them out. Behind you, you can hear the sound of footsteps and chatter. An annoyingly high-pitched giggle makes you wince. You hand your invitation over and he takes a moment to look at it. His eyes widen when he reads yours and he clears his throat, “Enjoy your evening, Ms.Glasc, H-Heiress Pyre.” The Enforcer hands them back to you and steps aside. You roll your eyes once you’re clear of them and turn to Renata, “Is it always like this?” You raise an eyebrow.
“Always.” Renata nods with a roll of her eyes. You’re welcomed through the front doors by a butler and a maid leads you to the ballroom. The mansion is filled with extravagant decorations that scream expensive. It makes you wonder how many people you could feed with all this money. ‘I wonder how much that vase would sell for? I’ll ask my Bilgewater contact. He’ll know.’ You remind yourself to swipe it later.
“Here is the ballroom, ma’am.” The maid curtseys before walking back to the entrance. Renata and you make eye contact before you lift your chin, her adjusting her respirator and walking in. Your eyes are immediately bombarded with a sea of bright lights and colors. The large crowd of people is standing around and chatting with each other. Many of them are wearing ridiculously gaudy outfits or jewelry that comes off unflattering. A server stops the two of you and hands you a champagne flute that has you holding back a grimace. You give them a thankful smile and take a sip. ‘Ugh. Brut. They’re rich and can’t afford a bottle of sweet champagne? I wasn’t going to drink, but this is more of a reason not to.’
“Ms.Glasc!” A woman in a yellow dress waves her over. You hear Renata let out a small click of her tongue in distaste.
“Mrs.Stafford.” Renata says stiffly which has you glancing at her curiously.
“It’s wonderful to see you again! I was just telling Marge that the samples of your perfume line are exquisite!” The woman fonds. The look she’s giving Renata shows more than a casual interest in her, making you hold back an amused smile. Mrs.Stafford’s eyes flick to you when you step closer to Renata, “Oh! Who’s this with you? You usually come alone.”
“Heiress Pyre.” You reveal, “Renata’s main business associate. You are?” You purposefully use her first name to convey your familiarity. Mrs.Stafford blinks, caught off guard while you gaze at her expectantly. You patiently wait for her to respond as a handful of emotions flash in her eyes. Envy and panic stand out the most.
“Heiress Pyre!” Mrs.Stafford gasps, “You’re Ms.Glasc’s associate? I thought you weren’t accepting any business partners?” The woman snaps her head to Renata. You could feel Renata’s eyes boring into the side of your head, knowing she was annoyed with you for that. ‘Just because we’re in public doesn’t mean I won’t tease you.’ You smile mischievously at her.
“Y/n is an old acquaintance of mine. When she approached me with an interesting proposal, I couldn’t turn her down.” Renata explains. As the conversation carries on, your eyes drift around the room, taking in the positions of the Enforcers and all exits. Coincidentally, they were all positioned by them. ‘Hm standing in front of a window like that can get you killed. One well-placed shot from Popper and you’d be dead before your body hit the floor. Who is running security here?’ You tsk.
“Heiress Pyre.” You turn your attention to a new arrival, “I heard you do business with Ms.Glasc. What is your joint venture, if you don’t mind me asking?” The man leans close to you as well as the others who have gathered. ‘Hmm, Renata has a fair amount of people interested in her. Why don’t I boost her popularity? It would pay off in the end.’ You let go of Renata’s bicep and clasp your hands in front of you with a cheery smile.
“Renata has generously agreed to assist me in producing advanced medicine for the residents of Zaun. In fact, our first dosages have been distributed to select locations for community approval.” Your smile becomes blinding, “I am very pleased with her results.”
“Wait. You’ve already produced a product?” The man’s watery eyes widen, showing his jealousy, “You’ve only been working together for a few months?”
“Oh, that. Yes, it’s only been a few months, but Renata is extremely efficient. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner. Everything we discuss gets put forward in a timely manner.” The words roll off your tongue sickly-sweet, “I am lucky to be working with her.” The tone of your voice hides the anger boiling under your skin. ‘All they care about is the money and prestige. They completely glossed over the medicine being made for Zaunites. Didn’t even question it.’
“Y/n has been a valuable partner.” Renata rasps, “She is very skilled when it comes to creation and she tests her own products before approving them. It was her idea to create this medicine.”
“Heiress Pyre, I hope you don’t mind me asking.” A man in a suit matching Mrs.Stafford comes over, “Where is your father?”
“Lord Pyre is my uncle, not my father. It’s poor manners to not have done research on your guests.” You chastise him, making him flinch, “He will be arriving with his Essa shortly, but in the meantime, I’m the one you come to about business matters with our House.” You carry on as if you hadn’t bruised his ego. You were going to enjoy making these people beg for your attention. After all, your people have been doing that for years. “Remember, you’re higher than them. Don’t let them try to walk over you just because you’re an Heiress. They’ll think you’re less important than me and may try to go past you to get to me.” Uncle Cassius tells you, “Our power is substantial and they will do anything to touch it. Remind them that they must go through you, too.”
‘He should have warned me they’d be insufferable.’ You deflect more questions and give simple answers. Questions about your House’s wealth, if you really were the Heiress, and even questions about your marital status! ‘Please get here soon, uncle. I’d rather you answer these questions.’ You groan mentally. ‘I don’t know what my marital status has to do with anything!’

Vi grumbles as she stands by the windows of the ballroom. Ever since they forced her to join Caitlyn on the squad, she was given Enforcer classes and sent out on occasional surveillance jobs. This is the first time she’s had to play the part of security, and she hates it. When they tried to put her in a dress like Caitlyn’s, she tore the damn thing in two. She wouldn’t be caught dead wearing something so… conspicuous. Caitlyn got them to customize an outfit for her that wouldn’t make her jump out of the window. Unfortunately, she was required to wear heeled boots. ‘Why couldn’t they be regular boots? These have like three fucking inches on them.’ She agitatedly shuffles her feet. Caitlyn was off with her mother, so that left Vi standing with a couple of Enforcers. They were talking with each other as if she wasn’t standing in the middle of them, and it annoyed her. She wanted to walk away from this area, it made her feel too open and exposed. A large window is to her back and would make her the perfect target for a stealth sniper. That thought alone made her antsy to move, but when she tried to, they said she couldn’t unless the Sheriff came to get her.
So, Vi resigned herself to watching the crowd of upper-class people mingle. The outfit colors hurt her eyes, with the majority of them being bright and vivid, or gaudy and too much. ‘The only people who wear things like that work in the Red Light District. Wearing that anywhere else is screaming to get jumped or robbed.’ Vi observes and closes her eyes for a moment. ‘This is miserable. I’m miserable. Holy shit, get me out of here.’
“Pssst, Vi!” One of the male Enforcers whisper-shouts to her. Vi slowly turns her head and gives them a dead stare.
“What?” Vi says dully.
“You’re the Sheriff’s girlfriend, right?” He wiggles his eyebrows suggestively.
“What?! No!” Vi denies it, “We’ve never been and never will be! So stop thinking that way!” She hisses. ‘They don’t stop asking! Why don’t they just tell their friends?! Gods, I’m sick of answering this question. Yes, I started crushing on Caitlyn but that crush died the moment Y/n confirmed her feelings for me.’ She grumbles, going back to surveying the crowd. The hosts, the Staffords, were huddled together looking at a piece of paper with Mel. ‘Boring. This whole thing is boring and I’ve only been here for an hour. Gods, help me.’
“Hey!” The other Enforcer snaps at her, “Keep your eyes on the door! We have to know every face that enters the room.” Vi growls to herself and goes back to staring at the door, but she wasn’t focused. ‘I can’t be the only one bored out of my mind. The music is awful. Slow, classical music that’s putting me to sleep. And we’re supposed to stand around doing nothing but watch all night.’
“Vi?” Caitlyn’s voice sounds from in front of her. She jolts, startled, to see her standing there with two water glasses in her hand. ‘I didn’t notice her approaching me. I was too distracted. Fuck, I can’t do that. That could’ve gotten me killed.’
“Here.” Caitlyn holds one out to her, “Are you okay? You didn’t respond to me calling you…?”
“I’m fine.” Vi takes a sip of her water, “I’m bored out of my mind, is all.” She shrugs.
“I’m sorry for leaving you alone for so long.” Caitlyn leads her to another area along the wall, “Apparently there are some very powerful people attending today and the hosts wanted to make sure that security is tight. If something happens, they’d be shunned.”
“It’s fine, you’re doing your job.” Vi leans against a column, “Just because your mother doesn’t trust me doesn’t mean you need to babysit me.” She says bitterly.
“Vi.” Caitlyn sighs, “My mother isn’t the reason I’m looking out for you. This is a huge change, and being around these people is probably difficult for you.”
“No, no, I actually love being around the people who condemn my city.” Vi says sarcastically.
“Sorry, that was in poor taste.” Caitlyn winces.
“Ya think?” Vi scoffs, glancing at the entrance. Her eyes land on a red and black dress that’s soothing after all of the brighter colors. ‘Now this person has taste.’ Her eyes flicker to the person’s face and she freezes.
“You could at least-!” Caitlyn‘s voice abruptly stops, but Vi’s not paying attention. Her heart starts to race as she realizes who the person is. ‘Y-Y/n. Y/n? What’s Y/n doing here?! And, who the hell’s arm is she holding onto?!’ Vi’s heart pounds in her chest as she watches them accept a drink and carry on walking, disappearing into the crowd.
“Vi!” Caitlyn shouts, snapping her finger in front of her face. Vi looks back at her and Caitlyn gives her an exasperated look.
“As I was saying… My mother is calling me over, so please stay here and be nice.” Caitlyn begs her, “When I’m done, we can go dance, okay? This shouldn’t take long.” She doesn’t wait for Vi’s response before hurrying away. ‘I don’t really dance like that. Especially not in front of people I don’t know.’ Vi watches the couples ballroom dancing. Their way of dancing is vastly different from the way they dance in Zaun. ‘The only person I’ve ever danced with is… Y/n.’ Vi has to clench her hand to keep herself from sprinting into the crowd. ‘It’s been months. Months. I can wait a few more minutes… I think.’ She takes a deep breath to calm down and tries to distract herself.

You smile wistfully as Night Stalker does loops and swirls in the air in front of you. For some reason, you’ve been missing Vi more than ever tonight. It made your heart ache to not be in this situation with her, but that doesn’t mean you haven’t appreciated your night with Renata. The Baroness is fun to party with, especially when you’re taking turns in manipulating these upper-class people. ‘They don’t realize we have them in the palm of our hands.’ You rest your head against her shoulder as you look at the city below you. You had walked out to the balcony for some private time to talk after fielding people for a while.
While Renata was a popular woman, you quickly became popular on your own. Many people wanted to get to know you - well, your wealth - and it was the perfect playground for you. Working in the brothel got you used to attention, taught you how to work a person and this was allowing you to flex your talents. It was the same boring conversation over and over again, but you took advantage of it. You drew them in, played their games, and made notes of who these people were and what their jobs were. It would come in handy in the next few weeks.
“Quite a sight, isn’t it?” Renata breaks the silence, “It’s a view I’ve come to despise.”
“I prefer the view of the Undercity. More character, more variety, and more neon lights.” You say teasingly, “These buildings all look the same.” You chuckle together.
“Ah, but you’ll do something about that one day, won’t you?” Renata gives you a side smirk. You return the smirk before you feel something pass the marker you placed. You sigh to yourself. ‘There goes the moment of peace.’ You indicate that you can sense someone approaching and Renata turns at the sound of heels.
“Ms.Glasc, it’s wonderful to see you here tonight.” Says a sophisticated-looking woman. You lean against the banister and observe the woman. ‘A purple suit, stern demeanor, graying hair… hm, she’s someone in a high position.’
“Councilor Kiramman, I can return the sentiment.” Renata responds emotionlessly.
“Who’s this with you?” Councilor Kiramman gives you an appraising look that rubs you the wrong way. ‘She didn’t even have the common decency to be polite. She must really mistrust Renata if she couldn’t bother to be courteous with me.’
“Heiress Pyre, Councilor.” You give her a tight smile, “If this is how all of the councilors conduct themselves with guests then I’d prefer not to associate with them.” You cross your arms. Councilor Kiramman’s face turns shocked as you glare at her.
“Excuse me, Heiress Pyre?” A woman your age grabs your attention as she approaches your small group with a shy smile.
“Yes?” You give her a friendly smile.
“Would you be so kind as to hang out with my friends and me? We’re interested in how a woman like you ended up where you are today.” She covers a blush with her hand. You share a glance with Renata and she waves you off.
“I’d be delighted to…?” You walk over to her, presenting your arm.
“Heiress Stafford. My family is the one hosting tonight.” Heiress Stafford introduces herself, taking your arm.
“It’s nice to meet you. Please tell me about yourself.” You let her guide you into the crowd. The councilor left a sour taste in your mouth and talking to her again tonight would be too soon.
~
It’s a while before Caitlyn comes back with a sympathetic look on her face. Vi bites the inside of her cheek to keep a snippy comment in. ‘That wasn’t a quick moment at all.’
“Okay, well… My mother needs your eyes and ears while she speaks with Ms.Glasc. Do you know of her?” Caitlyn questions. Vi gives her a look that says everything she needs to know. ‘Do I know of her?! Of course, I do! The Glascs are as close to Zaunite nobility as you can get! Every Zaunite knows about the family who kept most of us alive. My mother made it to twenty because of them.’
“Yes, I do.” Vi confirms, “I’m guessing she wants me to stake her out or something?”
“She wants you to see if she’s being truthful about her line of work. I’ll be there as well so you’re not alone.” Caitlyn gives an apologetic smile. ‘As long as it gets me away from this damn wall. I can look for Y/n in the process.’
“Fine. Let’s get this over with.” Vi huffs and allows Caitlyn to lead her through the crowd. As they walk, she tries to spot Y/n but has no success. There are so many people that she could be hidden by the crowd. They find Caitlyn’s mother standing next to a tall woman dressed in white and Vi could tell from the metalwork on her suit that she's a Zaunite. Then, it clicked. ‘That’s the woman Y/n walked in with! Wait. Y/n walked in with Renata Glasc?! Then… where’s Y/n?’
“…interesting that you have chosen to create a perfume line.” Vi catches the end of Cassandra’s sentence.
“Yes, it’s an area of beauty I feel most passionate about.” Ms.Glasc says. From how put-together she appears, she’s clearly someone who cares about their appearance so it makes sense.
“Are you doing anything other than perfume?” Caitlyn speaks up. Vi awkwardly shuffles her feet when the woman’s magenta eyes land on her. She was torn between being respectful and wanting to interrogate Ms.Glasc about Y/n’s whereabouts. ‘Y/n’s hostility towards Piltover’s upper class is just as strong as mine, if not stronger. This is probably her worst nightmare or her playground.’ Vi decides to give Ms.Glasc a nod and her nerves settle slightly when Ms.Glasc gave her a nod back. This woman had come in with Y/n, so Vi wasn’t even going to pretend to get dirt on her for Cassandra. ‘If Y/n is with her, it’s for a reason.’ Yet, Vi couldn’t help some of the jealousy that she felt.
“Ms. Glasc was just accompanied by her business associate, Heiress Pyre. She was called away by my daughter a few moments ago.” Mrs.Stafford cuts in, coming out of nowhere, “She said they created a medicine that’s being distributed.” That makes Vi perk up. ‘Medicine. That has to be the reason Y/n’s with her.’
“A medicine?” Caitlyn’s mother inquires, “Was it cleared by Piltover’s medical board?” Vi finds herself paying close attention to Ms.Glasc. Not because of Cassandra, but for her own interest. Except, Vi knew that the woman was paying attention to her as well. She was a Zaunite in an Enforcer's uniform.
“Yes. A medicine. We’re only distributing within Zaun at the moment, so there’s no need for Piltover’s involvement. The Heiress isn’t sure she wishes to go global with it as of now.” Renata nods. Vi bites her lip anxiously when she realizes that this conversation is going to be a long one. ‘All I want to do is find Y/n. I need to talk to her. Six months is too long. It’s more than enough time for her to plan.’
~
After being led away from Renata, you were interrogated about your dress and where you got it. It was painful seeing their reactions when you mentioned the metalwork is real gold. They practically fell all over you, wanting to get in your good graces. You explained that it wasn’t your idea, but your uncle commissioned the dress without your input. So, they switched topics to the armor and your House necklace. You blatantly said that it was a Zaun fashion piece and you wanted to represent both of your homes. That made them go quiet.
You were overjoyed when Dawn found you and whisked you away. She was decked out in formal battle gear which had you raising your brows. The silent look she gave you told you everything you needed to know. ‘It does make sense to have armor that’s pleasing to the eyes for diplomatic reasons.’ You spot your uncle and enthusiastically wave at him.
“Uncle Cassius!” You grin and give the man a hug, “You’re pulling off this suit better than I thought you would!” You tease, having only seen him in casual clothing and his warrior armor. It’s a stone grey suit with golden details that’s very easy on the eyes. ‘Thank Janna, I don’t think my eyes can handle another bright outfit.’
“Hello, Y/n! I’m afraid I don’t look quite as splendid as you do in that dress!” Uncle Cassius compliments you, making you blush slightly. You had added in accessories of your own to feel less out of place in such a fancy gown. It had screamed Noxian so you made it feel a bit more Zaunite with mismatched stockings and shoulder plates.
“Thank you.” You show off the gown, “I’ve never worn anything this extravagant before.”
“Lord Pyre, this your niece?” Two women approach the three of you. From the armor they’re wearing, they’re two of the three elite Essa accompanying your uncle. It was the older warrior that questioned him with a sweet smile.
“Ah, yes. This is my niece, Y/n Pyre.” Uncle Cassius practically shoves you towards them.
“Essa Konia, my Lady.” The warrior happily greets you, kissing you on the hand, “It is wonderful to see you in person. The Lord speaks highly of you.”
“I agree.” The other warrior steps forward, “Essa Fei, my Lady. It’s an honor to finally meet you.” She kisses your hand too.
“I’m pleased to meet the Essa who keeps my stubborn uncle out of trouble.” You smile mischievously, “I’ve learned he’s a handful from Essa Dawn’s stories.”
“Ah, ah, let’s not go there, hm?” Uncle Cassius cuts in, making your group laugh.
“Don’t be quick to throw him in front of a boar, young Heiress. We’ve heard about your training during your childhood.” Essa Fei smiles slyly. You blink before whirling around and giving your uncle a playfully panicked look.
“You didn’t!” You gasp dramatically and a laugh is your answer. A firm pat on your back has you frowning at Dawn who's holding in a laugh of her own.
“On the other hand, we’ve heard brilliant stories about you as well.” Essa Konia comes to your rescue. You smile at her thankfully as the conversation picks up. You take some time getting to know them, hearing their stories of how they swore fealty, and learning that you’ll have Essa of your own. It fascinates you to know that the tribe is still prospering to this day.
“As the Heiress of the Tribe, your protection is the top priority. Your Essa can be anyone but they must be sworn to you and the House.” Dawn finishes her explanation as you listen with rapt attention.
“Can they be someone you’re married to?” You tilt your head.
“Yes, but that’s a love that few can manage.” Essa Konia nods. The group falls into silence as you think about what was said to you. A few people come by to greet your uncle and rave about how well-mannered you are. Although, the amusement in your family’s eyes said otherwise.
“Heiress Pyre.” Essa Fei approaches you, “You have a few ladies who say they know you and the Lord. May they approach?” You follow where she’s pointing to see Niki and Megan. You smile fondly and nod your head. Essa Fei beckons them over and they practically run to you.
“Berry!” They chime together and give you a hug. Since you gave the girls the option of joining the Furies, they reached out to you a few weeks later and agreed to join. The majority of them have been busy with everything going on in Piltover, so the only communication you had were the notes sent back and forth. They weren’t aware of your uncle staying in the Rapids.
“Professor!” You step aside so they can give your uncle a hug. ‘If they’re here, then their patrons must be here as well.’
“Niki! Megan!” Your uncle grins at them, “It’s been six years since I’ve last heard from either of you.”
“We tried to get in touch, but the letters never went through.” Niki frowns.
“Ah, yes, they wouldn’t have. You see, my niece and I were at the University with aliases to keep my trip to the isthmus a secret. My full name is Lord Cassius Pyre.” Uncle Cassius clarifies to them. Their eyes go wide, making you giggle.
“And my name isn’t Berry. It’s Y/n.” You finish his clarification, “Heiress Y/n Pyre.” You wink. Their jaws drop before Megan facepalms and throws her arms out.
“That makes so much sense!” Megan laughs, “And here we thought you didn’t want anything to do with us! Be- Y/n! You could have said… something?”
“I’m sorry!” You laugh, taken by surprise with the situation, “A secret is a secret.”
“Oh! We’ve got to go find our bosses, but we saw the two of you first and had to say hello!” Megan grins, “But, we will come back if we finish our rounds.”
“Please do, I’d love to hear more about your lives.” Your uncle waves them off. You resume your conversation for a bit longer before you decide to go find Renata. You had planned on introducing her to your uncle tonight. ‘I wonder if Mrs.Stafford offered to warm her bed for the night.’ You snort to yourself. ‘Who am I kidding? She probably asked her husband for a divorce with how blatantly she was flirting.’ You take a step away when the sound of a throat clearing has you turning around to see your visitors. ‘It’s strange not using my senses here, but it wouldn’t be wise. If I sense something I don’t like, I don’t know if I’d be able to contain myself.’
You find yourself looking at a burly woman with numerous scars. You recognize the look of her clothes and notice a crest adorning them over the left breast. With her is the woman you recognize to be Councilor Medarda. Between the two, there are similarities that tell you they’re related. ‘Interesting. I wasn’t aware that one of the Councilors is Noxian.’ You file that information away.
“I hope I am not interrupting, Cassius.” The burly woman’s voice comes out powerfully, “It has been a long time since I’ve seen you, my friend. I was eager to see you once I heard you’d been invited.” She grins widely and grips forearms with your uncle in greeting. ‘They’re battle-bonded. So, we’re close with her House.’
“Ambessa Medarda! It has been too long! It’s a wonderful sight to see you here.” Uncle Cassius’ eyes flick to you, “And here I was thinking I was the only Warlord invited.” You mentally thank your uncle for the information. He moves his gaze to the councilor and holds out his hand.
“Little Mel! I’ve heard that you’re a woman of many talents, now. Not so little anymore when you’re sitting on the council.” Uncle Cassius shakes her hand.
“You’ve heard right, Lord Pyre.” Mel’s smile doesn’t reach her eyes, “I’ve heard you’re claiming more land in the country.”
“Ah, I was afraid your mother might beat me to it!” Uncle Cassius jokes.
“Nonsense.” Ambessa’s voice rumbles, “My territorial days are over… and to address your previous statement - Where you go, I am sure to follow. Yet, it has been some time since you’ve attended an event like this. You prefer staying local. What’s the occasion, if I may be so bold?”
“More guests approach, my Lord.” Essa Fei cuts in and steps aside. ‘Did I miss that announcement earlier?’ You furrow your brow as the people are revealed. Councilor Kiramman stops beside Mel but it’s the next person who makes you agitated. ‘Caitlyn!’ You snarl in your mind, slightly narrowing your eyes at her. Caitlyn’s face shifts into surprise but it’s quickly replaced with suspicion. It’s visible in her body language in the way she crosses her arms and narrows her eyes at you. ‘The feeling is mutual.’ You hiss, bawling your hand into a fist behind your back.
“Lord Pyre, I’d like for you to meet Councilor Kiramman and her daughter, Caitlyn.” Mel gestures to them and your eyes widen in shock. ‘Daughter?! She is the daughter of a noble then!’ The anger rolls through you. ‘No wonder. A councilor’s daughter.’ You mentally roll your eyes.
“Good evening.” Your uncle nods at them, before addressing his companion, “My niece brings me here, Ambessa...” Uncle Cassius places a hand on your shoulder. All eyes are on you as you give a disarming smile.
“It is time for her to be presented as part of the House.” You witness Caitlyn’s startled look in the corner of your eye and hold back a chuckle. Suddenly, something in the back of your mind tingles in awareness. Your instincts are trying to tell you about someone near you. You subtly scan the people around you but none of them set it off. ‘What? Who is it, then?’ You nervously check again.
“Your niece? I wasn’t aware you have one.” Ambessa raises an eyebrow, looking you over. The others nod their heads in agreement.
“She has been kept a secret, along with her brother.” Uncle Cassius relays, “You’re aware of Noxian traditions when it comes to children of the House.” Ambessa nods in understanding. You bite the inside of your lip as the feeling gets worse.
“I hope you don’t mind me asking why?” You hear Caitlyn question, “I’m not aware of Noxian tradition.” Your head turns in her direction just as you catch someone stopping next to her. You take in the Enforcer-like uniform before finding the person’s face. ‘No. No. No. No. No! Tattoo. Scars.’ You suck in a sharp breath as you make eye contact with icy blue eyes. Those very same eyes widen in disbelief as they notice you. ‘Y/n.’ Vi mouths in silent awe.
“My niece is a Magicborn who discovered her magic very young. Within Noxus, magical youth are pushed to join the military or use it to the House’s benefit. The family agreed to wait until they were older to bring them into our circle.” Uncle Cassius explains but he sounds far away. The tingling in the back of your mind becomes a buzz and you realize what it meant. ‘Vi… Vi?’ You hold each other’s gaze for a moment longer before you forcefully break eye contact. You exhale, not realizing that you were holding your breath. Vi hands a glass of champagne to Caitlyn and her mother, making something bitter curl in your stomach. ‘She’s here with Caitlyn. I guess she is forgetting about us… looking like an Enforcer, nonetheless.’ You tune back into the conversation when it turns to you, stepping forward to formally introduce yourself.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you Ms.Medarda.” You hold out your hand with a dazzling smile, “As a friend of the House, please feel free to call me Y/n.” Ambessa grips your wrist and you return the gesture. The calluses on her hands indicate years of wielding a weapon, “You must wield a strong hand.”
“Years of hard work. Call me Ambessa, Y/n.” Ambessa gives you a grin, “Your hands indicate years of hard work as well. You must wield a strong weapon.” She compliments you.
“My uncle is none too gentle during training.” You chuckle, letting go, and take a step back so you can see everyone. It puts Vi back in your line of sight and you can see how intensely she’s staring at you.
“Tell me, what kind of magic do you possess that would require you to be hidden?” Ambessa raises an eyebrow in interest. You glance at your uncle who nods. ‘It’s up to me on what I disclose.’
“I would prefer to speak of it in a more private setting. I live within the isthmus, so I am open to meeting you when you’re available.” You deflect.
“Then I will be in contact.” Ambessa nods.
“Now, who’s our new arrival?” Your uncle raises a brow at Vi, “I am not familiar with her.” The two of you meet eyes again before Councilor Kiramman steps forward. Your fingers tangle into the fabric of your dress as you try to keep your emotions down. The tingling in your fingertips reminds you that your magic is itching to do something. ‘Breathe. This is no place to let my magic out. Especially not when I’m upset.’
“Ah, where are my manners?” Councilor Kiramman shakes her head, “This is my daughter’s friend, Vi. She’s working under Caitlyn in the Enforcers squadron. Being from the Undercity, Vi has been helping us look for someone. I’d like to discuss it with you at a later date, Lord Pyre, if possible.” You thin your lips as you turn away from them. ‘She is an Enforcer now? Wow… I-I can’t believe this, but I need to be there for that conversation about Jinx. I can get information firsthand.’ Your uncle’s eyes flick to you.
“It would have to be soon since I am returning to Noxus.” Uncle Cassius agrees, “My niece will be present for it as well.” You give him a thankful smile and he throws you a wink. Your eyes slowly find themselves back on Vi and you feel something swell in your chest. ‘She’s… gorgeous in her uniform. Sophisticated. She carries herself well, even though I can tell she doesn’t want to be wearing it. And those heels make her calves-’ You choke back a purr and let out a small cough. ‘How am I upset with her but checking her out?! That doesn’t work!’
“Are you alright?” Councilor Medarda approaches you, Caitlyn following on her heels, while Vi keeps a bit away. You glance over her shoulder to see the other two are in a discussion with your uncle.
“Yes, thank you, Councilor. It happens sometimes because of my magic.” You brush off her concern.
“Please, call me Mel. Your uncle is… well, like an uncle to me.” Mel chuckles, “It wouldn’t be right for you to address me so formally.”
“Mel it is, then.” You chuckle. Soon, you find yourself in a conversation with her. You carefully question her about Hextech, keeping in mind the guarded way she responds, and steadily trying to ignore Vi. That was easier said than done by how badly you wanted to look at her. She would say something to you and you would respond to it formally. You showed no inclination of being familiar with her, and Vi was following your lead. Except, that worried you. ‘Why would she be following my lead? Wouldn’t she want them to know we’re acquainted in some way? And, Caitlyn is not-so-subtly trying to get information out of me so that would help her.’ Vi was one of the most cunning people you knew. Her silence terrified you more than her shouting.
“Will you be heading to Noxus with your-?”
“-So, you came here with Ms.Glasc?” Vi cuts Caitlyn off, stepping closer to you, “Is that because you’re business partners?”
“Yes, Renata is a great partner. She’s quite dependable and gets the job done.” You respond with a coy smile. You don’t miss the way her jaw clenches. ‘Vi’s jealous. She’s jealous that I’m here with Renata? Interesting.’
“You’re from Zaun, Vi.” Your uncle and the others join your conversation, “How do you feel hearing about this medicine for your people.” He questions her. Vi takes a moment to think, examining the group before tucking her hands into her pockets.
“I think it’s been a long time coming. It’s something my people desperately need, and I’m… relieved to know that Y/n is the one who created it.” Vi answers honestly, making you pause. ‘She said my name. She said my name. She indicated familiarity, but she wouldn’t know that, right? Right?!’ The smug look in her eyes says otherwise. ‘Shit, and we’ve been acting like we don’t know each other. Fuck, Vi, look what you did!’ You practically scream at her with your eyes. Councilor Kiramman gives the two of you an intense look.
“Are you two acquainted?” Councilor Kiramman questions with a tight voice. The curious stares from the others and your uncle have you nervously tapping your fingers. You open your mouth to answer but Vi beats you to it.
“Acquainted? We grew up together in Zaun.” Vi says casually, “Y/n and I were best friends before I was wrongfully thrown into prison.” You felt like you might faint from her words. You had pushed too far and Vi was paying you back for it. Now you would have to explain why you didn’t reveal that in the first place. ‘She’s always been good at talking me into a corner. I let my guard down around her without even realizing it.’
“If you know Vi, how come you didn’t say so?” Mel furrows her brow.
“It’s a shock for me to see her here tonight.” You clear your throat, “And I’m sure it’s a shock for her as well. I didn’t want to broach that topic in such a setting.” They nod in understanding but the conversation goes quiet, no doubt wondering what’s the exact reason you didn’t acknowledge Vi. You close your eyes and take a deep breath. ‘Sneaky, but she won’t win this. If she wants to talk, then we’ll talk.’
“If you’ll excuse me, I’m going to get some air.” You turn and head for the garden doors without waiting for their responses. The buzzing in your mind quiets as you move but it doesn’t go away. That’s how you know Vi is following, and that very thought makes your pulse beat a bit harder.

Some of my headcanons for Sevika x Reader x Renata
Tumblr media
(there's also some SevikaxRenata and Sevika/RenataxReader and 2 NSFW even tho they're not WOW, its tagged dw) OH, and there's a bit of angst in the end, enjoy :)
Tumblr media
Renata is domineering with you both, she is the only one that can put Sevika in her place actually;
Sevika moves a lot in bed when she's sleeping. Renata doesn't. So if you move a lot too there will probably be days that Renata will be pissed at you both and go sleep in another room or even in the sofa;
If you have a sweet tooth almost every time Sevika goes to the upper city to get some business done she will buy you some fancy candies;
Renata probably pays one of those air balloons every time she goes on a date. Doesn't matter if its only with one of you or you three. That woman wants comfort and privacy;
If you don't know how to defend yourself or see yourself in a bad situation you can't get out of, you have permission to use the "I will tell my girlfriend" card, that scares everyone and if it doesn't, they better run or Renata and Sevika will find them;
If you study at the piltover academy, expect Renata and Sevika to send someone to walk you home and the person have total permission to beat up some upper class that makes any weird or suspicious look at you.;
You all probably have an open relationship because Sevika still goes to the brothel and Renata probably has some pets around;
But I have the feeling they wouldn't mind cutting those relationships in case you didn't liked the idea or felt uncomfortable at some point, and even with that aside, I think that what would happen is that they would keep this other people more to use for favors, especially Renata;
Ignoring the fact that Silco is dead. I think Renata and Sevika try not to talk a lot about their jobs at home because when they do they probably have an argument, and their discussions are not pretty because they both are really close and strong minded with their ideas;
Even tho they get together when it comes to the "LETS DESTROY PILTOVER" idea, Sevika working for Silco while Renata is the one who wants to be the ruler does not help the case;
But I'm pretty sure if Silco dies and Renata puts Zaun on top of her priorities, or lie about it, because we know she wants the Solar Gates, she doesn't really mind Zaun burning in the process (but Sevika doesn't need to know that... Right Renata?) Sevika will be the number one by her side to put the power in her wife hands;
(NSFW) If you think you are a dom in this... are you really a dom... or are you just so much of a sub that you do whatever your girlfriends like?;
(NSFW) I don't want to speak about sex here cause I think we all know Renata would not be an easy dom much less let's expect Sevika to do that role (unless you ask them nicely), but I'm pretty sure a lot of praise will be present in the aftercare if that's your thing;
Renata is trying her best in all this years go slow to make sure everything go as she planned to...
There's a reason to it and a reason that kills me (thank you brain)
Renata is not a liar, she just... omits some of her plans from you and Sevika because she didn't want to catch feelings in the first place and somehow you both conquered her heart, and she knows it will HURT like hell if one day she really needs to bury all of Zaun and let everyone suffocate down there, but not because of the people that live there, much more because Sevika will probably never forgive her and you... she doesn't know what to expect from you after you see Zaun destroyed because of her.

August 23rd, 2019
Anaheim, California
You thought that having a shot of tequila would take off the edge of anxiety that had you shaking in your seat, but there you were taking another one, and the tingling in your hands still hadn’t ceased. "Want another?" Renata asked, a bottle in hand and a glint of worry in her eyes as she noticed your unsteady movements. You shook your head; you wouldn't risk it with a third. She waited until the hair and makeup team left the room before putting a hand on your shoulder, the cold of her ring pressing into your skin. "You want to talk about it?"
"It's just nerves," you mumbled, toying with your fingers, trying to brush off her concern. But Renata wasn't convinced, her gaze piercing through your facade. "Is it because of—" she said before you cut her off.
"No," you interrupted firmly, not wanting to dive into that topic. Renata nodded, understanding your reluctance. She simply squeezed your shoulder in silent support, knowing damn well what it was about. As she started to lead you out of the room, you continued. "We haven't seen each other in months."
There it is.
"And the last time we talked, he basically told me he didn't want to do anything with me." Renata's eyes softened; her empathy evident. "He didn't say that," she murmured, her grip on your shoulder tightening.
Your eyes met hers, filled with anger and confusion. "He did. He slept with me and then decided that was it." Renata's expression turned grim as she guided you out of the halls and onto the red carpet. She knew there was more to it than what you were letting on, but who was she to pry?
She faced you while gently fixing your hair as you continued. "But I'm with someone else now, and I'm happy, and I just need to get my shit together." Renata nodded. "You deserve to be happy and move on from this," she said softly.
The chatter of everyone on the carpet and the click of cameras surrounded you both, louder than before. "It'll be just a couple of interviews and photos now. After that, you and—" she hesitated.
"It's okay, you can say his name, Ren."
"You and Pedro will be taken into a photo studio for the official portraits," Renata finished. "Let's just make this quick and painless."
"I can assure you this will be everything except quick and painless," you replied with a forced smile, trying to ignore the knot in your stomach. "But I appreciate your attempt to lighten the mood." She mouthed sorry for a moment before leading you both towards the line of press, where the bright lights and flashing cameras awaited. As you stepped into position to talk to the reporters, you reminded yourself to take a deep breath and stay composed, knowing that it would be okay.
•••
It was, in fact, not okay.
The groan that escaped your lips and the rolling of your eyes were unavoidable. You'd managed to stay clear of him for as long as you could—a complete victory by your standards—and now, with only seconds before you escaped, the very man you had tried to evade appeared before you.
Being within meters of him now, all those firsts, lasts, and never agains were as sharp and vivid as they'd ever been, forming a knot of unease in your chest that made breathing difficult. You hadn't spoken yet, both preoccupied with the rush of media attention surrounding you.
Nonetheless, you took quick glances at him whenever you could.
"Time for the portraits," Renata whispered, as you finished talking to a reporter for the LA Times. "Looking forward to seeing the show!" you nodded, trying to keep your smile in place as you followed Renata. It was a small room with bright lights and a white backdrop, but all you could focus on was the man standing across from you, getting his hair touched up by a stylist. Your own team hovered around you, adjusting your outfit and makeup, but your eyes kept drifting back to him.
The photographer introduced herself, and you were instructed to stand in the middle of the backdrop. You looked each other up and down. God, he looked good, you thought. And then you cursed yourself. Your groan at the sight of him was barely audible, but Renata shot you a knowing look.
"You kinda stole my look," he said, raising an eyebrow. The audacity of this man was infurating. How dare he, after what happened, address you so casually, like nothing has changed between you two?
"Hm, no, you kinda stole my look," you retorted, no emotion in your voice. The tension between you was palpable as the photographer began snapping photos, capturing the silent competition between you two. He was wearing a floral shirt that perfectly complemented your own outfit—a corset-like black top with floral details and black dress pants. However, one little detail caught your eye: the shiny gold chain decorating his neck.
Stop, don't go there. It suddenly became necessary to wash away the awful thought that little piece of jewelry was attractive in the slightest and that cold shower and glass of wine you had been looking forward to at home would now have to happen—but instead of a glass, it would be a whole bottle.
"Okay guys, now let's take some shots pretending to laugh together," the photographer suggested, breaking the tension. You both shared a forced smile, trying to outdo each other in the fake laughter department. "And get closer, please," she added, gesturing for you to move in towards each other. As you leaned in, you couldn't help but notice the faint scent of his cologne. "Pedro, put your arm around her waist," the photographer instructed, prompting Pedro to look down on you.
"Can I?" he asked, ever so politely. The question transported you to a room in Chile, where the tips of his fingers were under your shorts and your mouths were enticingly close.
Stop, stop, stop.
"Sure, whatever," you replied, trying to shake off the memories flooding back. Pedro hesitated for a moment before standing behind you and gently placing his arm around your waist—a moment of unexpected intimacy as your hand followed and rested on top of his. The photographer snapped the picture just as you forced another smile, masking the turmoil within.
"Are we done?" Pedro asked, his voice rumbling in your ear. Despite his complaints, he enjoyed doing photoshoots. They catered to his need to show off.
"Yes, we have everything we need. Thanks guys!"
Both of you quickly separated, relieved to put some distance between yourselves. You didn't say another word as you both gathered your things and headed out of the studio, tension lingering in the air, unsure of what would come next and hating every second of the awkwardness that now hung between you.
•••
The D23 Expo was not turning out to be the fun experience you had hoped for. You've been sitting in the panel room with the rest of the cast and crew for about half an hour, actively avoiding eye contact with the source of your anxiety. Dave was talking about what a huge honor it is to continue his Star Wars journey with a live action series, having previously only worked on animated projects. Jon followed suit, expressing his excitement for the opportunity to develop the series on a more cinematic scale.
Everyone was buzzing with enthusiasm, but you.
"Now I'm going to give the floor to the fans for any questions," the moderator announced, turning towards the crowd with a smile. A teenager in the front row was handed a microphone, anticipation rippling through the audience as she prepared to ask her question.
"Hi, my name's Sarah, and I just wanted to say how thrilled I am for this new series. I am a huge fan of Star Wars, and pretty much everyone here," she said, "especially you and Pedro," gesturing towards you and finally asking the question you've successfully avoided answering all night. "I know you've been friends for a long time. Can you share any behind-the-scenes stories from filming, and how was it working together on this project?"
"Oh, they have a lot. These two were menaces on set," Jon interjected, eliciting laughter from the audience. You exchanged a knowing glance with Pedro before sharing a bright smile with the girl. "I think Jon is specifically referring to the time I broke Pedro's nose and ended up in the hospital."
The audience erupted into a mix of laughter and gasps, clearly entertained by the unexpected revelation as you continued to recount the hilarious mishap. "But yeah, overall, it was definitely a fun and memorable experience working together. We had some great times on set, despite the occasional injury," you added with a chuckle.
"Yeah, she's a brilliant scene partner; I wouldn't change a thing about it," Pedro chimed in, nodding in agreement. If you didn't know better, you would think he actually meant it. The girl beamed at the two of you, clearly enjoying the interaction between you and Pedro, oblivious to the fact that you couldn't wait to get out of there and never see him again.
The moderator intervened, clearly interested in picking up more about the dynamics. "Now that it's been brought up, I was one of the few people who got to see the first episode yesterday, and I have to say there's a lot of on-screen chemistry between the two of you. Is it possible that a romantic relationship will develop in future episodes?"
The answer escaped from your lips instantly. "Not that we can confirm or deny anything at this point, but I think that these characters are very different and have a complex relationship that will continue to evolve as the series progresses, and maybe they work better as friends or allies rather than romantically involved." The moderator nodded, satisfied with the somewhat vague response.
Pedro's eyes caught yours, puzzled by the subtle shift in your tone, before adding, "But I wouldn't rule that out completely."
He was so infuriatingly annoying.
•••
You were in the same room; circling each other the entire day, but he still missed you so much that a brief moment of broken eye contact sent a deep ache cutting through his chest.
Pedro watched you exit the panel room, knowing that he needed to find a way to talk to you. He called your name, making you stop in your tracks and turn around, your face unreadable. Pedro hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to approach you, before finally blurting out, "Hey, do you have a sec?"
He saw you reluctantly give your PA a nod, motioning for her to leave the both of you alone.
Pedro felt tension slip through him and iron in his spine, and he looked around swiftly to see if anyone was paying attention to them. He spotted a door leading to an empty room and gestured for you to follow him inside. As you both entered the room, Pedro closed the door behind you.
This conversation is inevitable.
Pedro waited for a moment before speaking. "We're working together, and will continue to do so."
"So?" your voice was cold and guarded.
He took a deep breath before continuing, "I think we should try to find a way to make it work."
"I think it's working well enough as it is," you replied, crossing your arms. Pedro couldn't help but laugh at your stubbornness. "Come on, we both know that's not true. You've avoided me all day. People are asking if things are okay between us."
"Isn't that what you wanted, though?"
Pedro shook his head. "What? I never said that."
"You might as well have," you spat back. "Because the way I see it, you don't want anything to do with me." He wanted to reach out, grab your hand and tell you that's not all what he meant but he stopped.
You are being so careful with each other now. It was breaking Pedro’s heart a little.
"That's not true. It drives me crazy when you won’t talk to me,” he muttered. "I…just didn't want to complicate things back then."
"Well, things got complicated the moment we slept together," you reminded him. "And that's on both of us."
Pedro sighed, feeling the weight of the situation. "I know," he said softly. "I'm sorry… I didn't handle that conversation very well. I was…" he can't bring himself to finish the sentence. "I don't know."
"You have a tendency of hurting my feelings, disappearing, and then coming back asking for forgiveness," your words come out measured and unexpectedly calm. Bordering on cold.
It was such a sharp, perfect little sting that it made heat pool in his stomach. It made him want to cry.
He said your name ever so tenderly, a plea in his voice.
"I don't know what you want from me," you say, a defeated tone lacing your words. "I moved on, and yet, you keep coming back, reopening old wounds. It happens every time. I can't keep doing this dance with you."
"Yeah, you moved on," and before he can stop himself, Pedro blurts out, dripping in sarcasm, "Quite fast."
Pedro still remembers the shiver that ran down his spine when he picked up his phone one morning, only to see you parading around with Daniel on social media. The worst part was that he knew he had no one to blame but himself.
You raise an eyebrow, surprised by his response. He could tell it echoed through the small space and grated on your every last nerve.
"Fuck you."
A snarl forms on his face, and his upper lip slightly curls. His anger rising to match your own. "Is that all you have to say?" Pedro's voice is laced with bitterness as he struggles to keep his emotions in check. Your eyes burning through him, the air suffocating.
"I had to move on," you simply reply. "You should try it as well." you slipped past him, bumping into his shoulder as you made your way out of the room, leaving him there, trying to remember why he had convinced himself that everything was safer this way because you were too important to risk losing, when in reality, he had already lost you.
And Pedro tries not to love you. He really tries.

Felix clenched his jaw as flames of anger flickered within him, the obnoxious, classic, yet familiar, league of legends red defeat screen only fanning the resentment that burned hot through his veins. He ripped his headset off as he swallowed down the third bitter loss his team faced that day, his face glaring down at your username that seemed to mock him in every post-game lobby chat.
y/ign: GG! Thanks for the skrims :) Same time tomorrow?
He rolled his eyes at your message, trusting Chan to coordinate with your team for the next matches as he closed out the client while reaching for his headset once more, letting out an exasperated groan.
“Well… that went as well as it did last time, huh?” Chan’s lighthearted laugh rang through Felix’s ear which only irritated him more, unsure how he was able to remain so positive after three soul crushing defeats. “Overall, their team is really solid and versatile. I can see why they’ve been dominating the lower tier teams and why they’re in our division now, but those games definitely helped us understand the skill of each of their players and what champs we need to ban.”
Changbin hummed in agreement gloomily, “Man, I don’t wanna play against them more, that y/ign guy is fucking annoying to play against. I can’t even farm properly without them ganking my lane every few minutes.”
Felix scoffed, “Yeah, imagine being counterpicked by them and having them take your jungle camps every game,” frustration colored each of Felix’s word a bright and gaudy crimson as he spoke through gritted teeth, taking a swig of water hoping it would somehow cool down the unbearable rage he felt bubbling inside him.
“I’m sorry, man, I know those games were especially rough on you,” Chan mumbled apologetically, carefully choosing his words to avoid hitting a nerve, “But we now know what champs to ban for them, we know to ward your camps early game, and to change our approach.”
“Yeah, I guess we can try out a more dive heavy comps and try to get early picks so they can’t shut us out of the game so quickly,” Seungmin suggested with uncertainty as he weighed the options his team now had, “Or more tanky… Maybe we need more CC?”
“Ah, well, it’s hard to say because god knows what other champs they can play. Each game they had an entirely different comp, so I guess we can try to prepare for every scenario we have seen so far, but we will still have to stay wary during the champ select process,” muttered Chan as he reflected today’s matches, trying to formulate a game plan for the team, “All good though, let’s just rest up for today. Skrims at the same time tomorrow, but log on an hour before so we can review our vods and discuss what we wanna try out in our games, alright?”
With that, the team grumbled a disheartened goodbye as Felix exited the call, once more tossing his headset in annoyance while he rubbed his face, clicking his teeth as he replayed each death from today’s games and how it was always you flashing your mastery after each kill.
Felix had no idea who you were, but your team had randomly emerged into the scene these past few months, quickly making themselves a well-respected and feared team as you dominated the lower tiered scene which now meant SKZ, a team well known within the semi-pro scene had no choice, but to take your team as a serious threat. Chan had reached out to you via discord, asking if your team was interested in a few practice sessions against his, which leads us to today.
There was no mistaking that your team was extremely well-versed and had done their research against SKZ, promptly banning each of their signature mains during the champ select process while picking characters that were either, quite frankly, annoying to deal with or countered their own. Felix should have known it was a bad omen when your team banned Chan’s Azir and Changbin’s Caitlyn, but once he saw you pick Briar against his own Diana, he knew he was in for a rough day.
You were perhaps the most annoying person Felix has ever had the misfortune to go against, somehow knowing just how to piss him off as you counter jungled him throughout the game and took every opportunity to gank his teammates, ultimately ruining their chances to catch up to your team’s gold. You even stole Baron from them, which ended up costing them the second game after your team immediately wiped his. He was filled with vengeful rage each time he saw your character on the screen, cursing internally whenever you made a good play, not even giving him the chance to trash you because you seemed to never make a mistake.
After today, Felix knew he hated you with all his being and made it his personal mission to give you a taste of your own medicine, swearing up and down that he would make sure that any games he played against you were absolute hell. He had a month to prepare for the next LAN tournament, where he would embarrass you on stage and disgrace the newly-founded prestige your team name had earned this past year. y/ign would no longer be the latest jungler breaking into the scene, you’d no longer be the new talent to keep an eye out. He wanted to make sure you were nothing but an utter disappointment to everyone who looked forward to your next performance.

When the next day came, Felix was brimming with confidence after spending last night researching your team, but with extra attention focused on you and your playstyle. Felix looked through your team's past matches and if he was lucky enough to find an old broadcast of the games, he’d scrub through them to gain a better understanding of your jungle pathing and how it differed by each character you played. Today, he refused to be caught off guard by your skill and would not give you the chance to gain as much map control as you did yesterday.
When logging onto his PC, Felix noticed a notification on his discord:
✩ y/ign sent you a friend request!
hey! wanted to thank you for the games yesterday and look forward to playing you guys again today :)
While you probably had the best intentions in mind, Felix immediately felt the scorching, yet thrilling, heat of competitiveness settle into his body as he scowled at your message. “Fucking asshole,” he mumbled under his breath in disbelief, assuming you sent that as a way to get under his skin before today’s skrims.
sunlixie accepted y/ign’s friend request!
sunlixie reacted to y/ign’s message with a thumbs up!
Great, not only are you extremely talented at the game, but turns out you’re an incredibly cocky person! Anything Felix had ever learned about you, aside from his research last night, was completely against his will and it was only making him despise you even more. He hated how easily you ticked him off, how easily you filled him with unbridled rage by doing the absolute bare minimum, and he hated how sour the taste of anger was. He hated this feeling, as it always ended up clouding his perception and made him an absolute hellish person to be around, but it was also one of the most driving forces behind his competitive nature.
Despite his huffing and puffing, Felix decided to close his eyes for a brief moment, as if he was meditating away all the negative emotions you so effortlessly planted within him with a simple message. After taking in a deep breath, Felix joined the discord call with the rest of his team, greeting them with a cheery ‘hello!’
“Felix! You sleep well? Sounds like you’re feeling better from yesterday,” asked Chan, the smile in his tone was impossible to miss.
Felix nodded before responding with a “Yup, got my eight hours and feeling a little more confident after some research.”
“Good, good, that’s what I like to hear.”
Before Chan could continue with their pre-match meeting, Hyunjin piped up a question, “Did anyone else get a message from y/ign?”
Just hearing your username was enough for Felix’s entire mood to deflate as he sunk into his chair with furrowed eyebrows. He was about to open his mouth to tell everyone how rude you just are, but to his surprise, Changbin beat him to it, “Dude!! They are so nice!” a giggle escaped Changbin as he recalled the message, “They said my Draven was pretty good and that Hyunjin’s Lux had their bot lane nervous!”
Now that was not what Felix was expecting to hear from anyone as his jaw dropped, completely shocked to hear just how sweet your messages were to everyone else and how downright rude yours was to him. What the hell is your problem? Felix hadn’t realized how tight he was gripping his mouse til he felt the plastic material slip from under his fingers, landing on desk due to all the force applied.
“Right! It’s nice to know we had them sweating even though they looked so composed,” Hyunjin eagerly added.
“They’re super kind and humble, which is refreshing to see in this scene,” laughed Chan, “Maybe I gotta play a little better today to get my own compliment, but they did thank us for playing against them and for agreeing to not post the vods. What about you Felix? They say anything to you?”
Felix was still recovering from shock after processing the information he just learned, stammering in both surprise and upsetness, “Dude… I… I don’t know what to say because they were a straight up asshole to me.”
“What?! No way!” gasped Changbin, “Maybe it’s because you’re their match up in the game, but that doesn;t sound right…”
“Yeah, that’s weird,” Seungmin added, “What did they say?”
Felix then pulled up the message you sent, reading it out for the rest of his team to hear, adding an annoyed “Can you believe the nerve of this guy?”
.
.
.
A few moments had passed by where no one had said anything, the call remained dead silent as everyone tried to figure out how to gently inform Felix that he was being an idiot and turning a very friendly message from you into an ill-intended one.
Chan cleared his throat, holding back a laugh as he realized your performance yesterday really struck something in Felix, “Bro, I hate to break it to you, but that was definitely a nice message… I don’t really see where they’re being rude at all.”
This time, it was Felix’s turn to stay quiet, a perplexed look overtaking his features after hearing the rest of his teammates agree with Chan. Maybe if he squinted really, really hard he’d be able to find a hint of kindness in your message, but Felix had already convinced himself you were his ultimate rival who was trying to throw him off a game. There is no way you’d ever send him a nice message just because, right?
“Well, I don’t know… Maybe you guys are right,” mumbled Felix, not completely convinced by his friends, which prompted Hyunjin to chuckle.
“Lixie, I have never seen someone get to you so easily before! Those games yesterday must’ve done a number on ya, huh?”
Felix rolled his eyes as he let out a peeved exhale through his nose, unable to deny any of what Hyunjin had said, “Yeah, yesterday was rough, but surely today will be different, yea?”

Luckily for the SKZ boys, today was different from the day before. This time, the boys were able to secure a win in the first game, while the second game was a very close loss due to Changbin being caught out, but this just called for better positioning and map vision, all things that could be easily resolved by being more mindful.
Despite the major improvements in the SKZ team’s gameplay, your performance did not fall short from yesterday’s as you still managed to be a threat SKZ couldn’t ignore. Although Felix was able to maintain control of his side of the map and trade some camps with you, you were still able to fill him with rage by somehow targeting him every fight, which made it nearly impossible for him to play the game. Luckily, Seungmin ended up using his Mordekaiser ultimate on you, which gave SKZ a chance to focus on the rest of your team while Seungmin did his best to tank your damage in his realm. This strategy definitely led them to their first win against your team, but as soon as the second match started, your team switched up to an entirely new comp, which SKZ struggled to answer.
Unfortunately, your team wasn’t able to stick around for a third game due to some prior commitments, so there was no decisive winner for the day.
y/ign: GGs! sunlixie, you really were sweating today on that diana jg kek
nyangknow: if i ever see you irl, its on sight, sunlixie… targeting a poor lil adc like me?
nyangknow: lol but gg! y/ign slammed their desk when u stole elder last game kek

channie: GG! dm me on disc if you guys wanna set up some more skrims
dwaekki: :3 gg!!! u guys did great, heh ty for games!
Once again, Felix found himself frowning at your message in the post-game lobby, irritation bubbling up in the pit of his stomach as his knuckles turned white from clenched fists. “Dude, I don’t get what their problem is with me,” whined Felix as he closed out the client once more, not even bothering to send a message in the chat.
Seungmin snickered over the mic, finding Felix’s one-sided rivalry hilarious, “That was definitely a compliment, don’t take it the wrong way.”
“Whatever,” he mumbled snarkily at Seungmin’s response, not being able to find any of the validity in his comments, “Just felt like they were poking fun at me.”

The weekend of the Regional Collegiate LAN tournament had finally arrived, and luckily for SKZ, they didn’t have to worry about traveling since their university was hosting the event. This event did hold some importance, but it mostly helped determine seeding for the next tournament with only a few teams at risk for elimination. Due to SKZ’s skill level, elimination was the least of their concern with them being favored to win first place. First place did receive a cash prize to help cover travel costs to nationals, but it also helped any team gain more support and made the pro scene more aware of potential candidates for their team.
SKZ was getting set to prepare for their first match of the weekend, but had some time to kill so they settled on roaming around the venue to catch up with some friends from other teams and greet any fans that approached them. In this world, it wasn’t uncommon for any of the more popular teams to have fans, as some people were either fans of individual players, their skills, or they were a fan of the entire team.
Today was no different as Felix walked through the venue on his own, chatting with friends from other teams and meeting any new recruits while he was at it. Frustratingly enough though, your team and you had been quite the topic amongst his friends, each of them expressing concern at how intimidating and difficult your team seemed. Everyone in the scene knew that SKZ and Y/TN had gone against each other in a few practice matches, meaning everyone was swarming to them like flies, trying to extract as much information as they could against your team. Although, you and SKZ had an agreement to not leak out any team comps or skrim information before playing, so Felix had to deal with a whole lot of begging while trying to skirt around the subject.
Felix had finally gotten a moment of peace as he excused himself from the last interrogation, deciding it was time to group up with the team seeing that their match was in about an hour from now. Before he was able to get far, he heard a voice behind him call out:
“Yo! Sunlixie, is that you?”
Well, he was wearing a jersey with his name on the back of it, so it wasn’t weird for fan interactions to go this way. He put a smile on his face and turned to greet the owner of the voice, who he honestly thought was a little too cute to be wandering around the convention center on their own, but nonetheless he pushed the thought away and decided it was best to maintain a level of professionality when interacting with fans.
“Hi! Yup, that would be me!”
The mystery person had a smile stretching across their face reaching out to shake Felix’s hand, which he took politely. He had no idea who this person was and it didn’t look like they were part of any teams since they weren’t wearing a jersey, so it was safe to assume this was just another fan.
“Wow, it’s so great to finally meet you! I’m y/ign, or you can just call me Y/N if you prefer.”
Felix eyes widened in pure surprise when your username left your mouth, not expecting the human he was talking to was you of all people. He did his absolute best to maintain his composure, but the sound of your name dampened his mood in the blink of an eye, his shoulders visibly tensing as his smile fell into a more awkward version of it.
“Oh, sorry! You aren’t wearing your jersey, so I didn’t realize it was you,” he forced an uncomfortable laugh, but you had already picked up on the stiffness Felix was now carrying in his shoulders, “But, uh, you can call me Felix.”
Ever since you became acquainted with SKZ through your skrims, you could tell that Felix definitely wasn’t your biggest fan. Maybe you had gotten off on the wrong foot, but other than playing the game, you weren’t sure what you had done to make him dislike you so much. You had quickly befriended everyone else on the SKZ teams, even going as far as playing other games outside of league with them or meeting up with them to get food, but Felix was the only member who was uninterested and incredibly dry towards you.
You had done your best to reach out to him and try to get to know him a little better, thinking maybe he just needed time to warm up to strangers, but that theory was quickly disproved when you found out Jeongin and Jisung had played some ARAMs with him and even met him in real life. Apparently, he was the sweetest and most pleasant guy to be around, yet you never had the pleasure to be met with his warmth. Instead, all you knew was an icy and cold exterior that pushed you away at every corner. At some point, you had been discouraged to attempt to be his friend, but you still thought it would be best to remain as cordial as you could with him, which meant greeting him and inviting him to any events your team hosted.
Not everyone was going to like you, that was a lesson you had learned long ago and you weren’t going to let it get to you when you had other things to focus on. You didn’t need to be his friend, anyway.
“Yeah, my team isn’t scheduled to play til way later, so didn’t really need to wear it,” you smiled at the boy, nervously playing with the hem of your shirt as you watched Felix’s expression slowly drop, “Well, uh, I’ll let you go back to your team. Good luck in your games!”
Felix raised an eyebrow as you hastily turned away, surprised at how different your demeanor was in person compared to his initial impression of you.
Online and through your varied interactions, Felix had pinned you as some overconfident, cocky, and disrespectful asshole who was purposefully targeting him. While everyone around him insisted that was not the case, he couldn’t help but feel the burning flames of hatred burst in him every time he received a message from you, each seemingly mocking him for whatever play he made that day.
However, this version of you was entirely different than what he had imagined this whole time. You didn’t ooze out that same confidence he had pictured you to have, but instead you seemed a lot more timid and welcoming in person. There was a gentle shyness that accompanied the warmth of your aura, golden and bright hues of yellow radiating off you as you smiled with not a single hint of malice in your eyes. When he met your gaze, he thought he would be staring right into the same sweltering, scarlet fury he had become so familiar with, but while searching your eyes, all he found was the brilliance of your tender-hearted benevolence, only rays of sunshine and light coloring the bright green meadows that expanded across your being.
What was this? This wasn’t the scorching, volcanic, blindingly red world he had been living in the past month, yet he still found himself melting under the comforting warmth, wanting nothing more to bask in your glow and forget the blistering one-sided rivalry he had imagined. For a moment of time, he felt the amber light you emanated was slowly turning his ugly red into a more placid orange, one akin to the sky’s palette during sunset.
Maybe the boys were right, maybe you did mean well. Maybe he was the asshole, not you.

The crowd cheered loudly as the announcer’s voice boomed over the intercom, officially declaring SKZ as the victors of the regional collegiate cup for the fourth year in the row. As soon as the blue victory screen popped up during their 5th game against Y/TN, the boys quickly stood up from their seats as they huddled into a group hug while gleefully jumping up and down, ecstatic screams and laughter leaving them as they celebrated their win. After an intense final match where SKZ and Y/TN had traded wins, in the very last game, SKZ was able to pull out with the third and final win needed to end the tournament. That was perhaps one of the most difficult finals SKZ had to play in a long time and for the first time in years, they were afraid that their reign was coming to an end, but luck was on their side today and all the skirms against your team had come to fruition.
Across the stage, your team stood amongst the chaos erupting throughout the venue, you remaining still in your seat as you watched the defeat screen go through its animations, tears pricking the corner of your eyes in humiliation. Second place was nothing to be ashamed of, but you couldn’t stop the overwhelming rush of emotions that filled you, the blinding stage lights causing your vision to go blurry as the feeling of failure took hold of you. You enviously watched SKZ celebrate their win as you wiped away your tears, standing from your seat with the rest of your team as you headed to congratulate the opposing team.
As your team approached SKZ, Felix immediately noticed the shift in your emotions and saw through the fake smile you forced onto your face as you congratulated each of them. All he could see was the bleak tears that clouded the brightness that once occupied you, the golden aura of yours being overtaken by the blues of sorrow and disappointment. The sun that once gleamed through your entire being had been replaced by flooding waters from a relentless storm of emotion, the cerulean raindrops overtaking the shining yellow hues of your personality.
As the colors of your emotions blended, Felix swore he saw the slightest tinge of an ugly green forming as the two aforementioned colors danced with one another. Was that jealousy? Although, as soon as he took note of it, the color instantly melted away as you shook his hand, a sincere ‘congratulations, you did amazing,’ leaving your mouth despite the tumultuous storm that dampened your conscience. Somehow, even as the bitter taste of failure lingered on your tongue, your genuinity never once faltered.
The vengeful, piercing, crimson rage Felix had felt for you weeks prior had dulled out as your sadness bleed all over him, guilt now washing over him as he had realized how sorely mistaken he was about you. The burning competitiveness and hatred that once fueled him had been put out by your misery, a deep violet now painting over him as the heavy hands of culpability dragged him down into numbing darkness of shame.
For some unknown reason, Felix felt the urge to run after you as he watched your figure shrink off the stage, wanting to apologize for his unwarranted attitude towards you this past month and bring you back to the warmness he had just learned about to revel under it once more. He remained unmoving as his teammates dragged him into another celebration hug, insisting to take a photo to remember this moment, yet Felix wanted nothing more to forget the sight he had just witnessed. Even though his wish had come true, he couldn’t bring himself to savor this victory against you.

A few days had gone by since your team had lost the tournament, suffering from what you had considered a rather embarrassing loss. While the games were incredibly close, you were sorely disappointed in your own performance, as you felt that you made too many mistakes that had cost your team the game. After walking off the stage, you succumbed to all the emotions you felt in that moment, letting your body tremble as tears rushed down your cheeks, choked sobs escaping your mouth. You remember how hot your face grew as the rest of your team turned to console you, feeling self-conscious how you were supposed to be the leader, yet you allowed your emotions to get the best of you.
Despite that, you had managed to get over the brunt of your emotions after a few days, but the message you found waiting for you today on discord had taken you by complete surprise:
✩ sunlixie sent you a message!
hi y/n! i wanted to reach out and apologize to you for how rude i’ve been to you. i’m really sorry, there’s no excuse for any of it. to be honest, i kinda just got rlly tilted from when we played our first skrims, and i guess i ended up taking anything you said the wrong way. again, there’s no excuse for this and i apologize for being that way, but i’d like to have a fresh start and be friends if you are ok w that!
oh, also, you did really great during the tournament! don’t beat yourself up for it, that was the first time we had to play all five games out in the finals, so you guys had us nervous!!
Well, that was entirely unexpected, but as soon as you read the message, a smile broke out on your face while letting out a sigh of relief, happy to know that it had all been a rather strange misunderstanding and not something you had done. With that, you hastily wrote out a response to Felix, letting him know that all is forgiven and that you would love to be able to finally form a friendship with him. Well, maybe something good did come out of this loss.
・゚·:。・゚゚・ ✩ ・゚ ・゚·:。・゚゚・゚·:。・゚゚・ ✩ ・゚ ・゚·:。・゚゚・・゚·:。・゚゚・ ✩ ・
After playing a few league games with Felix, you both began to develop a close friendship with each other. You finally began to understand what everyone else meant when they described Felix, you were beginning to see why his username was sunlixie. The coldness you had come to know him as melted away as the days past, only to reveal that under that hardened exterior was a boy filled with so much love and gentleness, that it’d blind anyone who stared into his soul for too long. The deep tone of his voice only added to this inviting warmth, adding a layer of comfort and safety that could lull anyone in a peaceful sleep, it was no longer a scary sound that reeked with hatred.
Eventually, you and Felix had decided to go on small outings together, usually opting to grab a bite at your local coffee shop as either of you would ramble on about a new game to try out or discuss practice for nationals. On the occasion, one of the SKZ boys would tag along or Minho, a member on your team, would join you both, but every time this happened, Felix always felt disappointed that he would miss out time with just you alone.
Truthfully, he wanted you to himself during these rare moments, wanting to be the only one who made you laugh and be the center of your attention. Jealousy would inevitably creep up behind him, pointing out each and everyone of his insecurities while he watched you interact with the others, it whispering in his ears that you’d never look at someone like him romantically, that he’d never have a chance with someone like you. He hated how much time he had missed out on getting to know you and being your friend due to this childish rivalry, feeling jealous over how much closer you were with everyone else, especially Minho.
Of course your bond with Minho was deeper than everyone else, you had known him longer than Felix and the other SKZ boys and were teammates. Yet, the pangs of insecurity would hit his heart directly each time he’d watch you laugh at a joke Minho made, always playfully slapping his arm in a fit of laughter.
All Felix could ever think was how much he had wished that was him, how much he wished he’d be able to make you laugh to the point of tears as the unpleasant color of green slowly festered within him, becoming more vibrant as time passed. He was crushing hard on you and he needed to do something about it before it became unbearable to deal with because he hated the unsettling feeling of jealousy.
Thus, Felix decided to finally bite the bullet and asked you to come out for some coffee today, but letting you know he needed to talk about something personal, so he’d prefer if you came alone.
As you approached the coffee shop, you wondered what Felix could have possibly needed to discuss with you, but you were honored to know that he felt comfortable enough to reach out to you and confide in you with something so personal, which only goes to show how much closer you two have gotten. Upon entering the building, your eyes searched for Felix, finding him seated in a more secluded corner with two coffees waiting on the table. Once his eyes met yours, you waved from the entrance with a smile on your face as you skipped over to the table.
Sliding into your seat, you caught onto Felix’s jittery energy as his legs bounced while his fingers anxiously tapped against the table. His body stiffened as he met your eyes with a nervous smile. Your eyebrows furrowed upward in concern, as you never seen the boy in this state before.
“Hey, is everything okay?”
Felix’s eyes widened at your question, his body completely stilling, not completely aware of how on edge he looked from the outside. He felt a familiar warmth rush to his face as a gentle pink dusted across his cheeks and ears, the rosy color of shyness making itself nestling itself in his stomach. The buzzing flutters he had felt in his stomach earlier sped up with the drumming of his heart, his head feeling like it was about to explode as he scrambled to find the script he rehearsed last night.
“Uhm, yeah, everything’s okay. I just wanted to talk to you about something,” his voice trembled meekly, cringing at the sound of his voice.
You nodded at his words, a panicked look overtaking your face, “Oh, no, did I do something wrong? Did I upset you?”
The blonde haired boy shook his head vigorously, finding your worriedness a bit charming, “Ah, no, not at all! It’s nothing like that!”
The tension in your body dissipated, as a caring smile returned to your face, “Oh, okay. Thank god, I was scared for a bit. Then what’s up? What did you need to talk about?”
“Well, I don’t really know how to say this…” he mumbled quietly, but just loud enough for you to hear. He felt himself shrink under the intensity of your gaze, surprised to see an overwhelming amount of concern etched on your features.
“That’s okay. Sometimes, you just gotta say it.”
He exhaled nervously, nodding in agreement with your words because he was freaking out on the inside, unable to recall any of the words he had prepared for this moment. Right, at this point, he should just say it.
“I… I like you, Y/N. I really, really like you and-”
Oh, that isn’t the reaction he thought he’d get.
You were never good at hiding your facial expressions, and this moment was no exception as your face morphed into a surprise expression, your mouth dropping as the words left Felix as the warmth you once held paled into white cast of shock and confusion. As soon as you processed his words, you bit your lips while trying to find the words to respond to the sudden confession.
“Ah, wow, thank you, I’m really flattered, but…” you paused for a moment, confusion and uncertainty laced in your voice, “you do know I’m dating Minho, right?”

AHHHH can you do arcane milfs and reader with age gap? Like maybe something that explores how they feel about being older than reader. Thanks<3

content warning. afab! reader, sfw ! — lowercase writing intended, age gap, mention of suggestive themes(?), characters are worried, and the reader is a bit oblivious to it
moss' notes. this is such an amazing idea, moss wants to kiss the anonie on the lips (only if anonie lets moss ofc) another note, moss doesn't think they did justice so they might just come back to this later :)

— CASSANDRA...
it wasn't uncommon between her peers to fool around with a much younger partner, to crave the companion of a young person so they themselves can feel a little younger. she sees it as a normal thing in the world, back then in the older days there were teenagers marrying men in their fifties and up, nowadays that doesn't happen but it's somehow still there in a much healthier way.
it doesn't bother her but the ill talks about your relationship fuel her anger. those nights she has a hard time going to sleep, rambling about how it doesn't matter, that they are lies, and that the two of you will never end up like all her comrades do.
x "no matter the gossip, no matter the looks, i love you with all my heart my darling, nothing can change that."
Tumblr media
— AMBESSA...
at first, she wouldn't be too worried about the age gap between the two of you, giving no special thought to it because she had plenty of girls as young as her own daughter or even younger before. but when she thinks about having a family, a long life with you the fearless warlord can't help but be scared of what is to come. she had never really thought about her own mortality, she decided if death is to take her to battler then she will be pleased, but with you in the picture, she is not sure if she would like that either.
x "i live in great fear now with you by myself, but i don't dread it, i just hope it will ease. i love you, my dearest y/n."
Tumblr media
— GRAYSON...
she can't, she faces so many dirty people on her job, people who take advantage of younger people and call them stupid just because of the age gap is just unacceptable in her opinion. she has a hard time accepting her feelings for you, struggling every step of the way and even now that you have been together for a while she still feels that she needs to apologize if she has ever made you feel like you were just a pretty young thing, a toy that she could use as she pleased. she begged for your forgiveness if she made you feel like that, crawling on her knees in front of you. it is a heartbreaking sight to see someone like her be in such a wrong space of mind.
x "i hope you know that i would never treat you differently just because you are younger, that i don't see you as something to play with, but i see you as my life... i'm sorry."
Tumblr media
— RENATA GLASC...
renata might be even more worried about the years between the two of you than anyone else. she hates to think that you might feel that she is too old for you or you are too young for her, that because she is already successful in her line of work she will never appreciate the small things you achieve before the big ones roll in. she wants you to feel equal next to her, to not think that at any given time she is trying to use that horrible line that mothers use, the "i am older than you, i know better, i know what's right for you and me" - she might know more than you, but isn't to say that you are not smarter than her in other topics.
x "we are equal, regardless of our age or knowledge, i love you despite anything they say. i want you for who you are, not because of what you are, my sweetheart."
Tumblr media
— SEVIKA...
sevika isn't immune to the worry that comes with the age gap between the two of you, but she takes it less seriously than the others. she has accepted the fact that she has little control over who she falls in love with, who makes her heart flutter and make her realize that she doesn't need to be a god for someone to love her, that she can be human and you would find her nothing but lovely. she thinks very little of how the years between the two of you would affect your relationship.
x "you and i are a team, nobody can take us on, they just have to deal with it."

Warning: Boss!Renata Glasc, POC!Reader, Confession, Love Notes, Valentine’s Day in the Office, blushing so hard your cheeks hurt, your coworkers make fun of you, recognizing someone by their perfume, you get a kiss
Summary: Love is in the air and you’re stuck at work instead of enjoying the themed drinks and desserts… until you find your desk covered in gifts from an unknown admirer.
The words on the paper were blurring the more you tried to read them. Your lunch break was only a short ten minutes away but it felt like forever with how antsy you were feeling. When you woke up, your phone had been flooded with text messages from your friends saying ‘Happy Galentine’s Day!’ Your couple friends were sharing their cute messages and posts, and you knew there’d be even more coming in tonight. You were a sucker for days like this and it made you bummed out to be working when you could be home and taking a nice themed bath. But, all hope was not lost. Your boss was nice and allowed your workplace to decorate and celebrate as long it was all cleaned up by the next morning.
That meant that the office had been decorated in various shades of pink, red, and white with hearts and cheesy pick-up lines everywhere. It brought a lot of laughter and joy… for most of the people. There were a few who were determined to ruin the fun and say Valentine’s was a stupid holiday to celebrate. Their desks had suspiciously been left undecorated and no one wanted to come forward and admit that they were the ones who didn’t do it. Other than that, the day went by as normal and you were so happy to hear your little alarm go off.
You gathered up all of your paperwork, clipped them together, and carefully filed them back into the folder they needed to be in. Your boss would gut you like a fish if she walked past your desk and it was a mess. You could never forget the ice in her voice when you heard her lay into Ken about how much of a slob he was on your first day. That had you scrambling ever since to make sure you kept your area pristine. You didn’t want her to speak to you that way at all.
Your coworkers linked up with you and you ducked into the cafeteria to eat. The chefs had made dishes themed to the day so you were giggling over the heart-shaped desserts and sandwiches. Everyone scrolled through their phones and shared posts on their socials that they thought were pretty or funny. You were just relieved to have a break. You yawn, clutching the hot cup of coffee in your hands hoping it’ll be enough to get you through the rest of the day. You savor each sip while listening to the others talk before the sound of the lunch alarm goes off. ‘Lunch is over already?’ You complain to yourself. You get up and place your mug in the dirty dishes pile, waving at the chefs before heading out of the room.
Everyone normally took some time to get back to their desks but you were confused to see them all hovering around your area. Jamie glanced back and he waved you over with a bright smile on his face. You hurried your pace, feeling a little confused as more of your coworkers gave you the same look.
“What’s going on?” You ask, nudging them to the side when you realize they are staring at your area. Your jaw drops when you see your desk. It was covered with rose petals, decorated with an assortment of flowers and a note was neatly tucked into the keys of your keyboard. You noticed a large box of your favorite chocolates along with a box of artisan chocolate from one of the higher-end chocolatiers in the city. It was beautiful and someone clearly put a lot of time and effort into it. ‘Who put all of that time and effort into this?’ was your first thought. Your second thought was ‘Ms. Glasc is going to murder me if she sees this!’ Your body felt conflicted about how it should react. On one hand, you were terrified your boss was going to scold you for making a mess. On the other, someone was into you enough to do this. You could feel your cheeks warm. Your lips twitched before giving in and curving into a smile so wide it hurt.
“Someone has an admirer!” One of your coworkers says, shaking you. You hear them all giggle and start to tease you about it. It only makes the feeling worse. It couldn’t be from anyone on your floor, right? You all went to lunch at the same time. But, that didn’t mean anything either. Not everyone ate lunch here. Some people chose to go out and pick up lunch from one of the nearby restaurants. Anyone could have done it. It didn’t help that your desks had walls high enough that no one could see over them.
Although your coworkers continue to rile you up, your focus is taken by the note. You walk forward and pick it up, taking a seat in your chair as a few rose petals fall from it. The envelope feels heavier in your hand than the standard ones you’re used to. Your name is scrawled across it in a handwriting that is oddly familiar to you. That piques your curiosity even more. You turn it over and your heart skips a beat seeing the Glasc family crest pressed into the wax seal. Overtaken by your curiosity you pop the seal and unfurl the paper to see the same beautiful scrawling calligraphy across the paper. Your heart beats faster as you catch the faint scent of Darling Decadence, the personal fragrance your boss wears. Your eyes scan the page and your heart beats faster and faster until you reach the closing line.
What would you say if I requested a kiss, pet?
Your breathing catches. Did your boss really write this… love letter… to you?
“What has everyone so excited?” Ms.Glasc’s raspy voice cuts through everyone else’s like the sharpest of knives. The room goes silent and you freeze. You whip around so fast that your chair spins with you. You make eye contact with her. Her glowing magenta eyes pierce your very soul and you nearly melt into your chair. Even with half of her face covered by her breather, you knew she wasn’t happy about all the time being wasted.
“M-Ms.Glasc, I-” You have no clue what you’re trying to say. Are you trying to defend yourself from the mess? Ask her if this letter is real? You were trying to save yourself before you knew what you were saving yourself from.
“Back to work.” She says and everyone runs to their desks. She doesn’t take her eyes off you but walks forward and grabs the top of your chair. You squeak as she leans down to be level with you.
“Um, I- Got your… letter?” You stutter, lifting the letter to show her. Her eyes dart to it and back to you.
“Your answer?” Ms.Glasc asks. You swallow.
“Yes.” You say. She reaches up and there’s a soft hiss as her breather disengages. You think you stop breathing when you finally get to see her face. She’s gorgeous. Her lips curve up into a smirk that has your heart working overtime.
“Good girl.” She grips your chin, tilts your head back, and kisses you.

Pairing: Renata Glasc x Reader x Sevika
CW: Shimmer mention but it is pure fluff
A/N: Yes, I live for Renata and Sevika being a couple with Y/N, you can shame me all you want. Btw it's 7am and I still didn't sleep, so yeah, there will be typos.
-
You and Renata where sleeping together. You where laying on top of the woman, wearing nothing but underwear and one of Sevika's old hoodie while Renata was in pijamas with her human arm holding you gently.
As soon as she saw that scene, Sevika melted. It was like her entire system cooled down, her mechanical arm really made the same noise it always made when all the shimmer was finally drained out and her eyes at last started going back to their natural grey color.
If in the streets she felt cold, now she was finally warm.
