(im maybe thinking a little too much about that totk rewritten project ..)

had a cool idea and wanna know what people would prefer; after you beat ganondorf once, marking the half way point of the game, would you rather:

get a long cutscene in which you see some of his memories, that shows why he ended up there and why he is the way he is, with you occasionally being able to walk around in them

get a few sudden flashes of memories, nothing detailed or clear but have 'miasma hearts' spawn across the surface and underground map, a tree like growth of miasma that holds an important memory from the past; they unlock in order of them happening as there are several stages of growth to them, you can find all before seeing the first one but you cant access the memory until the 'tree' has matured, they will grow more the closer you are to unlocking them; they slowly lead you back towards ganondorf and you need all of them to unlock the endboss

Speaking of middle grade lit I know there are some things in MG stories you are not supposed to question, but I am an adult now and can't help it. if someone'd told childhood me that adulthood is a lot about arguing with municipal govt about recycling bins, i would be deeply unsurpised because this is actually the exact sort of thing i imagined adults were doing

#first i ask which bins are ours because they've been moved around and theres a missing paper bin #and they tell me none of them. we dont have a bin subscription #(and i think well thats odd because all the bins are here except the paper bin)#so i order a paper and a trash bin for the business because im tired of keeping track of other peoples bins #and they say great wonderful #one month later i ask if my bins have been delivered yet #and they say yeah heres the serial number for the paper bin. have you checked both sides of your house? :)#but turns out they havent delivered my bins. theyve removed one bin (that they said wasnt ours) and replaced it with a larger bin #so one of my neighbours now has a bigger trash bin #and i have none 🤷

If i have to see one more post about g3 Lagoona being nothing but an aggressive, violent, and threatening Latina stereotype, eye am going to become an aggressive Latina stereotype.

Say you haven't watched the show without saying you haven't watched the show. I know she calls herself "spicy" in the music video. Yes I had a problem with that. No I don't think it's an accurate representation of her entire actual character to keep pointing to that one line like some kinda "gotcha."

#fun story #i ordered 3 things from hot topic. they shipped but never arrived so a couple weeks later i messaged them abt it #and went back and forth with them for a while bc their customer service agents cant read apparently #before being told i had to call bc one of the things i ordered went out of stock and i was replacing it w smth more expensive #so i call and im on the phone for like a fucking hour missing the 15 minute window i have to eat between jobs #and being on the phone at work for a while lmao #i finally get it done and the guy fucking forgets my apartment number in the shipping address. it's in the billing address tho??#so i email them AGAIN and im like yo your man forgot my apartment number. they cancel that order and place another #the effect this has is that the $14 payment for the more expensive item is cancelled as well. bc again they don't read #so im like sick i will effectively get these $60 pants for $15 (im very good at sales and also manipulating customer service)#but apparently when they replaced the order they put ny apartment number not in the address‚ but as part of my name?????#so i think its fucking up usps. but it came in 2 packages and 1 has arrived so i still have hope. but thats not the end #yesterday guess who fuckin calls me. its hot topic. my original order arrived to the fuckin store in my local mall #and theyre like i think we fucked up bc we just found this package but it says you picked up your order already. do u want it #and i was like yes? not really sure what package to be expecting and its my ORIGINAL FUCKING ORDER #so once this package arrives i will have gotten 2 of the same shirt‚ 2 kiki sign things‚ a sweater‚ and a pair of pants for $40 #and i figure i can return one of the shirts and one of the signs that i have duplicates of for store credit of their full price #so anyway yeah. thats been the past 3 weeks for me.

Bloom's fairy forms!! These were really fun because Bloom's thoughts about what a fairy is changes drastically from season to season

Her first form is informed by her dreams of being a fairy and the story books growing up, it's intentionally supposed to be reminiscent of a child's dress because it's the physical manifestation of her childhood dream

Her second form is informed by nearly being murdered in her own home and having to help fight an army to protect her school and friends. It's not cutesy at all and the crown weighs heavy on her head

Her dark fairy form is a return to that childhood dream but it's twisted. She's projecting a delusion of what she wants on top of the world

Finally her Enchantix! She's finally realized magic is simply a part of her like her hair, and it's just a tool people can use. No inherent meaning outside of what she personally gives it, she has gone back to being cute but it's more mature now

A list of medium-sized problems* I have encountered in the last 10 days:

Melted my shoes.

Came home from vacation to discover that the roof I replaced right before leaving is still leaking in one spot.

Broke my doorknob.

Got a flat tire.

Found out that Sophie's adoption day party on Sunday is going to be rained out.

(*A medium-sized problem is here defined as one that costs money and/or significantly disrupts your day's plans, but does not cause major ongoing life disruption. For instance, "getting my feet soaked completely through my shoes to the skin" was a small problem--or would have been, had I not melted my shoes trying to dry them over a campfire. If I had caught my feet on fire trying to dry them off, that would have been a large problem.)

All of these problems are under control, but I feel that I have done enough Handling Problems for a while, and I would like to submit an application to be excused from additional Problems for a period of at least two weeks. Does anyone know the contact information to put in that request?

#problems #life #the shoes were perfectly-broken-in Docs 1460's with several years of wear left in them #I had the money to order new ones but that's still quite a blow #roof guy is on the case of the roof issue #doorknob has been replaced #but I still need to get spare keys made for the new lock #spare tire is on the car and I am safely home #but I still need to get the real tire repaired or replaced #and I was able to find another place to have Sophie's party but I had to pay to reserve a pavilion #and we will still be having it in the rain which is less fun #I am being very brave about this #none of these things are that big of a deal #there's just too many of them
