Beast mode activated ✅ Today is day one of my programme with @georgiegyms and I am so excited to get started. So why have I got myself a PT? Well aside from the obvious external accountability and coaching, I think I’m extremely hard on myself (for example to me running 5-miles a few times a week isn’t serious running and I’d say I’m only moderately active) … so it’s likely that as a result I short change myself when it comes to the calories I need to achieve my goals and live the lifestyle I crave. I’m not aiming to lose weight, I’m aiming to get stronger and create those good habits and routines that I help others with (sadly my own training is often the first thing to fall by the wayside when I’m busy) • So right now I’m going to be working on achieving positive body composition changes by moving my body and hitting the gym when I can. Throwback to last Saturday at The @Gymshark Lifting Club! A day spent getting to know some amazing girls, listening to inspirational stories and learning from some of the best in the business! Today's training location won't be quite as glamorous and I won't be reattempting @samanthacubbins_ booty blast again today ahead of my 10k race in the morning ... Except maybe Biscoff Baked Oats, or Whippy Pancakes ... or maybe Vegan Magnums??? Anyway, I only really started doing Hip Thrusts in the gym last year because it was the first time I’ve felt truly comfortable in the weights section and this week (despite 4-months of home workouts) your gal here managed a full set at 50kg • I was supposed to only do 3 reps as I was on declining sets but they felt good so I kept going!
