FINALLY. I WAS GOING MAD WITH THIS ONE FOR FCKS SAKE!?!?!

Something I wasn't able to finish last week, so it's a belated contribution fpr Hoshikafweek2025 CAUSE I CAN'T AND WILL NEVER GET ENOUGH OF THEM.

I have ideas, and many feelings on a different Kaiju AU would look like.. with Kafka being successful at the DF and Hoshina not, but being turned into a kaiju.

this is the third version of Hoshinas Kaiju form and I flipped tables so much, at this point I don't care anymore... it's not great but it's a bearable version for me. sorta..

But I feel like I leave this one to your interpretation and don't go too much into detail .. all there's to say, it might be a rather angsty universe for them...

Radio Times has just published an article written by David ahead of the BAFTAs. It's an unexpectedly sad and heartbreaking read at times, particularly when David talks about his parents and his own experience as a parent. We tend to think of awards shows as lighthearted, a time for celebration and frivolity, yet there is a somber and quietly introspective tone to what David writes.

Here in particular, he talks about the nature of awards, and how for as meaningless as they often are, he feels like a loser if he is nominated and does not win:

To reiterate: David is clearly stating that he gets excited about being nominated for an award and then feels hurt and like a loser if/when he doesn't win. This is on top of his previous comments about having imposter syndrome/anxiety related to his work as an actor.

Jeff's Inn by the Sea - now with home cooked meals grown on site! Stede's plan to grow vegetables at the inn starts innocently enough - until he becomes determined to win the admiration of their neighbours by winning the prize at the annual show. Ed gets jealous of the time Stede is spending with the garden instead of him, but struggles to find his own hobby because learning new things is hard. Guests keep coming to stay at the inn despite being grilled about their carrot-growing knowledge or getting told off when they mistake Ed's crochet for knitting.
