Ruby||Titanus: Rubius Cthulhu

This AU was inspired by @rubydoowhereru RGTK of Monsterverse Ruby Gillman. So, I decided to practise my writing with RGTK that will feature some conruby, Meraken, and just a few short stories.

I wrote a one-shot on how Ruby would appear in Godzilla 2014, which I sent to Rubydoo in the form of an ask.

Now, here's an interesting idea: "What if Ruby met Gojira instead of Grandmamah?"

Ruby should have listened to her Uncle's warning about the peculiar electric blue water current that he advised her to avoid during their journey to visit her grandmother. She had mistakenly assumed that it would propel her to her destination much faster, but that assumption proved false.

Now, Ruby found herself immersed in a pitch black void, barely able to make out the moonlight.

She felt as if she had entered the twilight zone.

Scanning her surroundings, she spotted an ancient temple in ruins. A few skeletal remains of monstrous creatures with sharp dorsal plates caught her attention.

Believing that this must be where her grandmother resided, Ruby swam towards the temple's entrance. Along the way, she caught glimpses of peculiar marine iguana-like sea monsters, standing around 6'5ft, with two large and pointed dorsal plates. Nervously, she waved at them, and in response, some of the creatures emitted a bright flash from their dorsal plates, as if greeting her.

Following a bright orange light, Ruby found herself inside a vast chamber filled with waterfalls and small pools of lava. A grand staircase led up to a large platform, but whatever lay on top remained hidden from view. The only visible aspect was the presence of jagged, sharp dorsal plates, reminiscent of trees or some other unknown entity.

Curiosity piqued, Ruby cautiously emerged from the water and ascended the staircase to gain a better perspective on the mysterious sight before her. However, to her confusion, she discovered that the platform was empty - nothing stood atop it.

"I knew that pulse belonged to you," a gruff voice declared, startling Ruby. She turned around, only to gasp in shock at the immense size of the person who had spoken.

His face possessed a square shape, while his neck appeared broad with gills adorning its sides. His eyes emitted a faint yellow glow, and his mouth housed a staggering total of 60 teeth, though they were not perfectly aligned. Separate nostrils adorned opposite sides of his snout.

His head and neck inclined slightly forward, and in proportion to his body, the head seemed relatively smaller. The creature bore dorsal fins that resembled the shape of maple leaves, albeit straighter and significantly sharper.

White-clawed fingers embellished his slim, muscular arms, while his feet resembled those of an elephant or sauropod, boasting larger curved claws with noticeable space between each toe. His crocodile-like skin was rough and tinged with a shade of blackish color. Although his body shared a slender resemblance to Ruby's giant Kraken frame, he appeared more robust, suggesting a build suitable for both speed and combat. His tail, resembling a baryonx's tail but with a tampered rounded tip.

Oh and cute little pointed ears!

Ruby instinctively raises her hands in fear as the imposing gaze of the larger monster meets her. However, to her surprise, he lets out a chuckle. "You look just like Agatha! Only purple instead of pink," the monster exclaims. Confused, Ruby gazes at him, prompting him to realize his nonsense and attempt to clarify.

Raising a closed, clawed hand and coughing into it, he introduces himself with a broad, toothy smile. "I am Gojira! King of Monsters, Warlord of Balance, Lord of the Sea, and so on! And, of course, you can call me your GRANDPOPPY!" As these words escape his lips, Ruby's eyes widen as everything clicks into place.

Instead of meeting her grandmother, she has encountered her grandfather.

Ok the majority of y’all picked a coraline au, what the hell? I was kinda excited for Steven universe but alright. Imma do Ruby and Chelsea for now alr.

•Plot

the plot is basically the same. Chelsea lures Ruby in to try and get the trident. Instead of pretending to be her mother, she pretend to be her friend, and gives Ruby the life she’s always wanted, enticing her to stay. There is one caveat however. Ruby must bring her the Trident of Oceanus. The same patience thing with the other mother happens, but instead of becoming a spider lady, she slowly becomes that giant form thingy. Same thing happens as in Coraline, except the fight probably takes place in the water, which means Ruby would be in her kraken form. In the end, Ruby accepts her life and all the other stuff.

Yandere Chelsea Van Der Zee

Contents: Alternative Universe, Reader, Gender neutral, cringe, dark content, yandere motives.

Fact: Chelsea's canon surname is literally dutch and if translated! It says "From The Sea!"

AU: Bloody Lagoon is a au where: Chelsea never left the sea.

Meeting Chelsea was the worst! Seriously no jokes!

You were less shocked and more pissed off as she would scare off any of the fish you tried to net.

Everyday and everytime she would go out of her day to piss you off.

She would make harsh insults towards you and sometimes hit your insecurities.

Having enough you decided to throw anything that would hit her.

BONK! Hazaah! A direct hit to her- oh god her nose is bleeding.

She held her broken nose and held a look of sadness as if you were the culprit!

And here comes the most saddest cry in your life, okay now you felt like an asshole.

"Please stop crying!" "NO! You broke my nose, you jerk!" She stopped crying momentarily to say this and returned back to her crying.

Grabbing first aid, you tended to her broken nose. She would make half-ass attempts at threats like: I'll bite your fingers, I'll drown you and I'll make you disappear.

Oh and she's surprisingly fluent in Dutch.

Suffice to say? It was nice having someone to talk to besides listening to the radio on your boat.

Although Chelsea wanted to take selfies with your phone and didn't want to talk.

Until you spoke of your crush....Connor.

The mermaid's attention was now on you. Quickly scooting herself next to you, she quickly devised a plan.

Why don't you be the cool popular girl.

So Chelsea taught you the ways of how to gain popularity and be way past cool.

Overall Chelsea liked helping her human achieve her goals.

Her.......Human.....Hmm.

Maybe she should be a little selfish, nothing wrong with that. . . . .right?

Chelsea's behaviour has been weird lately.

Like she would oftentimes sit very close to you. Like having shoulders touch.

She would stop her insults and would start flirting with you.

She started to sing songs that are related to love or something and hoping to get the pal they like.

When you decided to sleep in your fishing boat for the night, you could've sworn you saw Chelsea watching you sleep.

She would get annoyed whenever you mention your friends and your crush connor.

Actually whenever you mention connor, her nails would dig into the boat

You both got into a fight from one too many of Chelsea's flirting.

"What's your deal!? I'm practicing my flirting?" She defended but you retaliated, "With someone who has a crush on someone, it's messed up! Y'know what, just go!"

You didn't see Chelsea's look of sadness that suddenly turned into anger.

You waited for her to move, but she didn't even move in the slightest.

"I think I just had enough with you, mi amor." She said in spanish....She's bilingual?

And without a second to lose, she lunges towards you and everything went dark.

Your head was throbbing and everything felt sorta cold. Groggily getting up, your vision was blurry and you quickly licked your chapped lips and sharp teeth. Quickly getting up from your laying position, you reach towards your mouth and felt sharp teeth occupying your mouth, looking down at your body, you noticed your entire skin and appearance looked roughly similar to a tiger shark.

"Mijn liefje? What are you doing up?" Chelsea said, she yawns and rubs her eyes. You looked at the mermaid and gave her look that wanted answers to your predicament. Smiling innocently she swims towards a weird stone closet and opens it to reveal clothing tops. "It's simple, it was my magic." She stated as she pulls out a red crop top with two golden cuffs. "I used a spell and turn you into a gorgeous mershark similarly to a tiger shark." Chelsea added as she examines them closer, she nods and tosses them into your arms. "Now put these on, I wanna see you in red!" She says while clapping her hands together as you looked at her with a look of betrayal.

"You turned me into a freak!?" You shouted and dropped the clothes down but they slowly floated due to being underwater. Chelsea's expression turned one of happy into one of annoyances. Putting one hand on her hips and raising the other, she snaps her fingers and spoke in a haunting echoing voice. "Gehoorzamen!" She ordered in dutch as you felt your entire body follow her commands.

With another snap of her fingers, you regained control over your body. "Wh-What did you!?" You asked in fear as Chelsea looms over you. "What did I do? Isn't it obvious, I used my magic!" She said it as if you were an idiot.

"Now here's the quick recap, I started to gain feelings for you which is gross, what kind of weirdo of a mermaid falls for a weak human? Now since you're like me, we can chill and talk as much as we want! Like besties but lovers!" She said joyfully as you continued to stare at her.

You attempted to flee, but only for your tailfin to be grabbed and your entire body to be swung and slammed into the wall. Chelsea's hand held your throat and her sapphire blue eyes now had a murderous look in them. She leans into your ear, her breathing heavy and spoke with an annoyed tone.

"It seems you haven't gotten the memo, Liefde? I own you, that means you obey every word I say." She stops for a moment for a quick deep breath and it looks like she was about to lose her temper with each sentence she spoke. "And if you don't, I'll get mad, very mad. And when I get mad, I get hungry and when I get hungry. I crave for something-." She stops and whispers teasingly in your ear. "Bloederig~" and not knowing dutch, you can easily tell she was talking something about blood of possibly human's.

"So liefde? What do you suggest we do?" She asks as she rubs a thumb on your chin, enjoying the sandpaper like skin. You looked at her in the eyes and muttered quietly and asks what you said.

"What was that? I couldn't quite catch that." She hums as she leans in closely and you sadly repeat what you said. "Let's go and do something fun...babe." you felt disgusted calling this....monster that name.

"That's a good shark~" She coos and begins to lead you towards a different location.

I've got an idea for a "Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken" AU of Hazbin Hotel

I've been thinking of doing a Hazbin Hotel "Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken" AU that is a RadioApple AU (even though I do not ship RadioApple) where Lilith is Lucifer's evil and abusive ex-wife who is the same person as (Queen) Nerissa/Chelsea Van Der Zee. (even though I actually want Lilith to turn out to be a false villain and a protagonist in the actual canon Hazbin Hotel and to be a loving and caring wife and mom to Lucifer and Charlie and a benevolent queen who actually cares about Hell and is in Heaven for a good reason what will benefit the Hazbin Hotel instead of hurting it).

Also, the RadioApple-centered "Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken" AU version of Hazbin Hotel characters would coexist alongside/with the characters from Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken.

Here's the premise of the said RadioApple "Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken" AU: Lucifer Morningstar and his husband Alastor are mermen/tritons, and Charlie Morningstar is their teenage mermaid daughter. They live in Oceanside, California, and are very good friends with the Gillmans, and Charlie is best friends with Ruby Gillman. But due to how mermaids can be violent, selfish, and vain narcissists, the Morningstars are trying their hardest to keep their merfolk identities a secret from the Gillmans, all while trying to prove that not every merperson is evil and that merfolk who are just as good, kind, benevolent, and merciful as giant kraken actually do exist. Suddenly, everything is put to the test when Charlie's evil, emotionally abusive, and narcissistic birth mom shows up under the disguise of Chelsea Van Der Zee.

I think I might look for at least one person to collaborate or work together with me on this AU, so let me know if you'd like to join in and be a collaborator and perhaps even be a co-owner of this AU.

Aaaanyways, here I'm introducing my new RGTK AU, called Matriarchy and Matricide. It's gonna be like a sequel to the movie, that explores Nerissa's past.

And Yes, Chelsea is Nerissa in this. Ik ik we all hated the twist but I'm onto something here.

Also gonna give some other side characters some time to shine too, like my boys Brill, Sam, and Arthur, bc they have such good character potential that ended up kinda getting wasted. Like, does no one see the potential of insecurity and overcoming it bc of the fact that they're dudes in a super matriarchal society? Or how Sam could constantly get overshadowed by his giant kraken protector of the seas sister, and feeling a bit like he's useless? Maybe he and Brill could have a moment due to similar struggles? Plus the TRAUMA of them nearly getting killed and nearly seeing their family get killed in the final battle in the movie. Just... HUGHSDOIFMSDVMSDVA

As you can see, the nerd is nerding and the 'tism is 'tisming.

How cool would it have been if Ruby's friends helped her show how cool and great Krakens are through Social Media. Similar to how April was helping the Turtles become popular through her school paper!

This is something that would have been neat to see as an au definitely but... probably would have been hard to pull off considering if they tried to actually post stuff with footage of her, Agatha would have seen it, Gordon would have seen it and all that. I can definitely see them going online and telling students around the school how cool krakens are and just stating facts/legends of krakens and how they’re actually noble creatures who only attack when provoked and are protecting the ocean. But I think the movie was going for the route where at this point Ruby’s friends were more of a detriment to her as Chelsea was the only one who knew her secret and wasn’t reacting to it negatively.

Yes she does alot! Sure she knows that he could take care of himself but she can't help but worry about her father with new scars on his body.

So would hanging around her Grandpa and such a heavily radiated area cause a change in Ruby's Giant form? Like awaken some of her kaiju blood giving her Godzilla traits?

Absolutely! Though the changes are minor, she will acquire small dorsal fins, sharp teeth, and claws resembling those of Godzilla. Additionally, her brows will exhibit slight spikes. Moreover, her shoulders will become slightly wider and broader.

That is all she would gain.

"31…32…33…34…35…36…aand you failed!" The disappointed sound of Gojira echoed as he watched his granddaughter attempt and fail at fifty push-ups with a large boulder on her back. With a sigh, the purple kraken pushed the rock off her, and she collapsed onto her back, tired and exhausted. Gojira swam down to the underwater stone floor to help her up.

"I think…I can go at it again, Grandpoppy!" Ruby said, her voice filled with exhaustion but determination. Gojira, though ready for his granddaughter to try again, hesitated momentarily. He took a deep breath, smiled, and said, "I think that's enough training for today." Ruby looked scared, wanting to prove herself by attempting another push-up, but her grandfather held her back tightly, gripping her arm.

"Follow me, Rubius Cthulhu," Gojira requested, using her titan name. Ruby found it strange, but assumed Titans had unique names, just like Gojira, who was known as Godzilla throughout the entire ocean.

They swam together for a while before emerging from the water and approaching a large chamber. Ruby was about to ask her Grandpoppy where he was taking her, but before she could, one of her grandfather's loyal subjects arrived with two stone cups filled with a weird, glowing, oozing deep blue liquid. The smell made Ruby's throat parched for some reason.

The tiny Titan, known as a Zilla, raised its body in an upright stance, and its two large dorsal fins flashed brightly in Morse code. Oddly enough, Ruby somehow understood the message.

"Refreshments for the majesties?" it asked in code. Ruby looked at her elder, who nodded in permission. As she grabbed the stone cup, she was surprised by how hot it felt. Dipping her finger into the drink, she was taken aback by the freezing sensation. Curiously, she popped her finger into her mouth and her eyes widened at the taste.

It started off as a sour candy with a blueberry flavour and slowly transformed into a sweet lemonade-like taste. Intrigued, Ruby took a big swig of the drink, savouring the wonderful flavours as she easily gulped it down, sighing in contentment.

The two eventually entered the chamber, where Ruby marvelled at the statues of different characters. There was a moth, a plant-like monster, a turtle-like monster, another turtle-like creature with tusks in its mouth, a monster with blades for arms, and many more.

"Welcome, my grandchild, to the Chamber of Accomplishment!" Gojira declared, his voice brimming with pride. Ruby couldn't help but gasp in awe at the magnificent statues and the grandeur of the place she found herself in.

"Wow, it's absolutely amazing!" Ruby exclaimed, her breath taken away by the sight.

"And also my Room of Warlord Victories," he added, emitting another satisfied huff of pride.

Agatha looked at her computer, cherishing the collection of photographs she had taken of Ruby when she was little. She couldn't help but feel a pang of nostalgia as she remembered how Ruby would fearfully run to her for protection from even the most harmless things.

A seagull looking at Ruby? Off she would run, seeking refuge with Mama.

The sound of toast popping out of the toaster? Another dash to Mama for safety.

Agatha even capturing a photograph of Ruby? Again, Ruby's instinct was to seek solace with Mama.

Back then, Ruby was easily frightened by many things. Now, however, she was growing into a young woman, ready to carve her own path in the world.

Perhaps she would find a loving partner and create a home of her own. Maybe she would even have children someday... and then, what more could she want?

Taking a brief break from her computer, Agatha logged off and contemplated whether it was time to talk about her past and tell her daughter about the mysteries behind her transformation into a giant kraken. The thought of reconnecting with her father crossed her mind, and she pondered whether he could offer any assistance.

Son of an angular fish, of course!

A sudden realisation struck her like a bolt of lightning. Why hadn't she considered this before? Perhaps her father held the key to understanding and resolving both her and Ruby's predicament.

Determined and with a surge of nervous energy coursing through her boneless body, Agatha made up her mind to venture into the vast ocean for the first time in fifteen long years.

Ruby and Gojira strolled through the grand halls of the Titan kingdom, their path filled with curiosity and questions. Ruby couldn't contain her excitement as she inquired about inheriting her grandfather's powers, similar to how she had inherited the royal Kraken abilities.

"Indeed, Ruby. You would possess the electrifying flame breath, the mighty roar, a thermal form, and countless other extraordinary powers!" Gojira replied, a proud smile spreading across his face. Ruby grinned in response, her excitement growing as she imagined the incredible abilities that lay in her future arsenal.

"Dad? Are you here!" Agatha's voice calls out.

And as they were lost in conversation, Ruby's mother unexpectedly called out, her voice echoing through the halls. Fear pierced Ruby's heart as she realised the possibility of her mother discovering her secret ocean expeditions.

Observing his granddaughter's panicked state, Gojira raised an eyebrow, quickly grasping the predicament she found herself in. Ruby's three legs hurriedly propelled her in circles as she desperately searched for a way to avoid getting into trouble.

A comforting clawed hand settled on Ruby's shoulder, drawing her attention to her Grandpoppy's reassuring gaze. Determination filled his eyes as he silently communicated, "I've got this." With that, he marched off to face his daughter, knowing that he had to handle the situation that had been looking for what felt like an eternity to him.

It turns out Ruby shouldn't trust her Grandpoppy, as he immediately betrayed her to her mother to avoid getting in trouble for training her. Agatha's stern face showed no mercy, indicating that Ruby was in for a severe punishment when they returned home.

Agatha turned to her father, questioning him, "Is that everything?" He nodded in confirmation as Agatha directed her disappointment-filled gaze towards her daughter. Ruby sighed, knowing deep down that she should have anticipated this outcome. If she was going down, she decided she would drag her Grandpoppy down with her.

"Let's go, Ruby. I can't even believe this!" Agatha's disappointed tone resonated as Ruby glanced back at her guilty-looking grandfather, her frown deepening.

"Yes Ruby, think about the repercussions of your actions!" Gojira said with a fake disappointed tone.

Once Ruby's thoughts came to a decision, she mustered the courage to inquire, "Grandpoppy, do you think you can still continue to train me?" Ruby ignored her mother's sudden silence, focused on what was going to happen next.

Agatha's back was turned to Gojira, her voice filled with intensity and a hint of menace. "Dad? Have you been training my daughter?" An air of aggression surrounded her, causing Gojira to tremble in fear of her wrath. He struggled to muster a coherent response, realising the repercussions of throwing his granddaughter under the rug as Agatha turned to face him, her gaze as cold as ice.

"Well, I... You see, I thought... Uhm," Gojira stuttered, unable to find the right words as his daughter stood before him.

Agatha hummed quietly, scrutinising her father's reaction. "I'm telling Mom about this," she declared, causing Gojira to sport a look of absolute terror. He was ill-prepared to face his wife, lacking a gift or any semblance of readiness for seeing her again. Moreover, now his daughter wouldn't even spare a simple glance at him.

"Let's not involve your mother in this, please!" Gojira pleaded, his fear evident as he chased after his daughter.

Ruby could only watch with a sense of amusement as the drama unfolded before her eyes.

So will Ruby have some Kaiju abilities, like will she be able to breathe nuclear fire?

Hold on, let me get some things sorted.

Yes! Ruby will inherit some of Godzilla's powers, but not all of them... for now!

For example, if we imagine Godzilla in the RGTK universe, you'll notice that I've given him a bulky yet slender frame, similar to Ruby's giant kraken form.

In this version, RGTK!Gojira has bioelectric fire abilities! He can exhale a wave of hot electrical flames, still retaining the classic blue colour of the atomic breath ability!

On the other hand, Ruby has her own version with a green colour, inspired by Zilla Jr. from Godzilla: The Series.
