1. What was your first OTP? 

Maria and Captain Von Trapp, before I knew what an OTP even was...

2. What is your current OTP?

Kate/Hotspur, Henry/Mary Ricahrd/Anne...4er

3. Do you have any OT3/OT+ ships? What are your favorites?

Richard/various combinations of various people. Robert/Richard/Anne is a favourite. ...also Constance/Gaunt/Katherine...

4. What is/are your favorite trope(s)?

I like a good slow burn, but only if it pays off and once they’re together, they STAY TOGETHER.

5. What is/are your least favorite trope(s)?

Love triangles, cheating....

6. Do you have a certain kind of ship you’re more attracted to?

IF THEY’RE NOT FRIENDS AS WELL AS LOVERS, THEN WHAT IS THE POINT* (unless part of the point is that they’re not friends and this is actually addressed or at least acknowledged)

7. Are most of your ships “pure” or “problematic”?

yeah I don’t wanna answer this question. 

8. Who is the most shippable person you can think of?

Richard II.

9. Are there any fandoms you don’t have any ships for?

I don’t think so?

10. Do characters have to have canon interactions for you to ship them?

as a general rule, probably yes. they almost certainly have to be part of the same canon for me to ship them. 

11. What makes a great ship in your own opinion?

the characters are well rounded people independent of each other. 

12. What drives you away from a ship?

Idk ,generally a mix of things, but mostly if the characters don’t even seem to like each other that much (caveat: unless disliking each other is PART of the relationship being explored)

13. Is there anything you ship but refuse to interact with the community for?

No.

14. Has a fanbase ever made you ship or not ship something? Why?

Richardbroke. hadn’t considered it before but man is that a fun trainwreck to play with. 

15. Do you like/participate in ship wars? Why or why not?

No, because why would I want to spend energy being argumentative and potentially horrible to people over something that does not effect me in the slightest. 

16. Are there any ships you just can’t/don’t understand? What are they?

Ross/Rachel. I’m sure there are others but that’s the first thing that springs to mind. 

17. Are there any popular ships that you just don’t like? What are they?

Rose/Ten. For a start, I actually see Ten as asexual and a LOT of Rose/Ten shipping seems to involve smut. For another, I just. don’t find it that compelling - I think Ten & Martha and Ten & Donna actually have a lot more complex and interesting relationships (now, Nine/Rose, otoh...) Also, large parts of the fanbase for that ship just...grate me the wrong way, and I object to random David Tennant characters being shipped with random Billie Piper characters, especially for fandoms where there is limited fic anyway *cough* Broadchurch *cough*.

Merlin/Arthur is the other thing. I just...don’t see why an intense relationship HAS to be made romantic and/or sexual  in nature, and also it’s Gwen erasure. 

18. What is your favorite unpopular ship?

one day I am actually gonna write Richard x Falstaff fic and it is gonna be hilarious. 

19. Do you prefer fluff, angst, or smut for your ships? 

Everything? Everything Is good. 

20. Do you prefer bigger fanbases or smaller ones?

Smaller Ones. there’s less content but MORE FRIENDS *aggressively hugs Richardclub*

21. Have you ever received hate for a ship you liked? 

No. 

22. Do you have any ships that you ship, but would never want to see as canon?

Alec Hardy/Ellie Miller. Great fanfiction but I wouldn’t want it to actually be a thing. 

23. Have you ever had a ship become canon, but you didn’t like how it was portrayed?

I didn’t like that Joey/Rachel was only a thing for like two minutes. 

24. What is your favorite canon ship?

Robert/Richard/Anne. also Hardison/Parker from  Leverage. 

25. What are your favorite ships from a dead fandom?

I...don’t think I’m part of any “dead” fandoms?

26. What are your favorite shipping scenes?

Maria and Captain von Trapp dancing at the ball, the flint castle snoggage scene, @nuingiliath ‘s Henry-proposes-to-Mary-fic...

27. What are your views on reader x canon ships?

Not my thing but *shrugs*

I have none.

Please, please say that Castle‘s Dad will be back sometime during the new season!? –BG Would you settle for “He is mentioned in the premiere”…?

This tells me guest star Anne Cusack will turn out being Castle’s dad’s daughter and Rick’s half-sister.

Thoughts Afer Seeing Castle 7X22 Screener

Terrance Paul Winter penned a gem of a Castle episode for next week. It truly makes up for the debacle that was the last two episode.

Classic Castle episode with amazing scenes between Castle and Beckett peppered with fun, connection and some fine dance moves. 

Oh, and I adored the Kate Beckett “wife moment” urging a son to talk to his mother when she seems upset.
