This was inevitable, James knew that. He knew the second that Harry got sick, Regulus would too. He just doesnt know how he'll be able to convince Regulus that.

James looks down at his husband, who is sleeping, his curls tossed in a like-halo shape around his head, his usually pale cheeks red. He had already taken Regulus' temperature, it's nearly 40°C.

He knows he's in for it when Harry starts crying from the other room, immediately waking Regulus from his slumber. He starts to stir, rubbing his eyelids, tossing the covers off of himself, ready to go and comfort their son.

James wraps an arm around Regulus' waist, tugging him back towards the bed, earning a gruffy, "C'mon, lovey, I've got to go get Haz," Regulus places a single kiss on James' temple with warm lips.

"Lay back down, Reggie, I'll go get Harry."

"No, I can do it, go back to sleep." Regulus grumbles, but James follows him out of the room.

"Regulus, please just go lay down. You've got a fever, babe, please." James places his hands firmly on Regulus' hips.

"I do not, Potter!"

"Do too, Potter." James grins, moving Regulus out of his way, reaching Harry's room. He picks up the small child in his arms, leading Regulus back to their bedroom, little baby Harry with them.
