Do you think that MC would be able to tell who is walking down the hallway in the castle because of how their footsteps echo?

I like to imagine that Charles has light, skip-like footsteps. Vlad’s footsteps sound lazy and dull, sluggish and without rhythmic. Faust would have heavy, sharp rhythmic footsteps like a relaxed soldier march.

(because of this, I also wondered if MC and/or Sebastian would be tell apart footsteps in the mansion but the carpet might mute their steps and with all the residents, some people might have really close sounding footsteps)

Thinking about yandere Phantomhive twin brothers who force ask you to cheer them on with the cricket tournament. They make you wear something blue to represent their house. They know their little sister is watching so they have to show off ofcourse (R!Ciel more than O!Ciel). They know their house isn't really focused on sports but they will become olympic players if you're there.

If they even see a noble breathe in your direction while standing on the bleachers, they will throw the cricket ball at that nobles head. On accident ofcourse. They have to keep up their appearance.

You have to cheer for everything they do and be ready to console them and pamper them when they loose.

The whole school will have their eyes on the infamous Phantomhive girl, but their curiosity will soon fade when they see the burning glares of the twins.

If father dearest is with you then be ready to be the picture perfect daughter. He will prance you around like a doll. He won't allow any men or women near you except for the Midfords'. (Although you and Edward seem AWFULLY close)

If cheering all day long wasn't tiring enough, the prefects are dying to meet the girl the twins were talking about 24/7. The most precious sister in the world.

Violet can't seem to capure your ethereal beauty in any of his drawings. Bluewer is suprised by your knowledge (although it was expected, seen as Vincent is your father and the twins your brothers) and can't stop discussing various books with you. Greenhill thinks you are so delicate and handles you like glass, he always has the need to show off his strength to you, to make you see how good he could protect you.

Your brothers seem to notice how liked you are, but can't do nothing about it, the prefects are not to be messed with. They become more and more possessive and agitated. Trying to put the prefects in a bad light, but even Vincent can't ignore requests from them asking you to come for tea.

It's not like you really want to go, but what choice do you have?

Stay with your overbearing family? Or go to the obsessive prefects?

Had a dream where there was like. A live action show of my OCs and the characters all had costume changes. All I remember are the costumes Leaf and Cypress wore when you first met them

Cy was wearing a long loose dress like what you'd expect from a cleric it was grey with a fancy belt. His hair was blonde and cut short, save for two braids at the right side of his face.

Leaf was wearing metal armor rather than her usual leather. She had armor on her shoulders and her right hip/thigh. She wore a longer tunic and her usual brown pants. Her hair was also blonde.

i hate the night before september eleven. i always have problem sleeping and then being awake. now I'm close to La Moneda. Double my life we're living with this nightmare and the shadow keeps growing over all generations. My brother is 15. I was 9 when my dad told me how they threw the bodies of tortured people into the sea. My sibling is 18. I went to my first protest at 11. My grand aunt is 89. Last elections she tried to give us her cents of a pension to get out of the country before the military started hunting leftists again. I was 2 when my dad put on Victor Jara for the first time on the radio for me. I was 8 when I learnt they tortured and killed him. He was 46. He had a young daughter. I can't learn the more than 1400 names of people that disappeared to never be found again. Ruth Escobar was 27 when she disappeared. I'm 22. We both come from the same city and we travel to study in the capital. We're both artists. She disappeared 49 years ago. Her family still looks for her. My grandpa said that I shouldn't get into student politics cuz they can make me disappear. He doesn't remember my name anymore. Dementia took that away. The miscommunication fic the question is about

I've actually been waiting for someone to ask me this.

Okay so darling isn't allowed near anyone right? Except the upper moons?

You know why?

Because they would want her. Muzan's bloodcells can give the others PTSD of Yoriichi because that's how scared he was/is of him. That emotion is so strong it gives the others flashbacks and a sense of danger that originates from Muzan himself.

But since Muzan has met darling, there is another singular emotion that can trigger a response in the others and that is his 'love' for darling.

He is so obsessed with her that when the lower moons and other demons see darling they can't restrain themselves.

They don't necessarily also 'love' her, but she sure as hell looks delicious and touchable.

Even under Muzan's command they wouldn't be able to stop.

The upper moons in contrary are able to supress these emotions since they have more control.

So how would Rui have met darling?

Simple: Muzan is a sadist and loves seeing darling writhing in pain, begging at his feet to make it stop.

He gets those reactions by punishing her and one of those punishments can be locking her up with a lower demon to show how good Muzan is to her and how much worse she could have it.

Now Rui is his favorite lower moon and he definitely would give him a new pretend mother when darling ripped apart one of his gifted clothing, yanked off the jewelry around her neck and wrists, pulled so hard at the table cloth that all the food that was on it spilled and as cherry on top threw the half full bottle of wine at him (It would've hit too if he didn't have his demonic speed).

No, he wasn't thinking about how consuming a literal man at said dinner would spoil her appetite and no, he also didn't think that she would still be upset and overwhelmed that he fed her aphrodisiac to get her more willing and in the mood for a night with the three uppers (she could possibly die if she was completely resistant, the three uppers tend to be rough *cough, Douma, cough* Muzan was doing her a favor!).

So he was like: 'if you like scolding and hitting me so much, why don't you be a mother for a little while' and dropped her off at Rui's house.

She was terrified at first, saw that Rui was just a kid, was a bit less scared, saw what that kid had done to the rest, was terrified again.

Rui was thankful to Muzan for the gift he could play with for a while, but instead of that sudden urge of 'romantic want' he got a different kind of want, a more family related want.

Rui started seeing darling as his actual mom.

For safety reasons, he put the other demons away since they weren't able to control themselves like Rui could.

So it was just darling and him.

Darling, still mortified, tried to communicate with him and got made fun off for having an accent. He said that if she was his mother, she couldn't have an accent because he didn't have one either.

So darling had to explain to him that she wasn't from here and now he wanted to hear more about the country she originates from.

And slowly darling could see the child hiding behind the demon. Even if he did command her and tried to control her every move to make the perfect family, she saw why he did it.

But just like Muzan said: she was good at scolding

She knew Rui wouldn't kill her, his feelings for her were too strong, so she started acting like a real mother to him (out of empathy, anger, sadness, being scared shitless and because Rui gave her control that the others had taken away from her. She could choose for herself again and care for someone).

Rui absolutely adores darling and will listen to her instead of roboting her in what to do to act like a 'real' mother. He becomes very clingy and protective. He actually didn't let her hand go when Muzan came to pick her up. (Muzan was so angry when he realized darling actually enjoyed her stay instead of seeing it like a punishment, but he did feel something inside of him when he saw darling being all motherly and domestic).

Darling likes Rui, she feels for him, finds his story sad. She actually fell out against Muzan for turning a child into a demon and making him eat others to survive. Even cussed him out and outright defied him after he told her to stop when she found out Rui killed his parents and that's why he's so obsessed with molding a perfect family.

Darling does acts like a mother to him and tries to steer him into a better path. Most of the time darling tries to do normal kids things with him when Muzan allows them to spend time together.

Rui is confused by most of her actions towards him since he has forgotten what it felt like to be an actual child and not some powerful demon, but with the guidance of darling he eventually gets the hang of it again.

Due to deprivation of seeing other people and the overwhelming emotions of home sickness and missing her family, she gets very attached to Rui.

Muzan, who is already fond of Rui, doesn't seem to mind this allot and actually uses those emotions towards the child demon to manipulate her into staying put.

The other upper three aren't handling her giving so much love and attention toward another demon that well, but if Muzan allows it, they can't interfere.

They are mother and son your honor.
